<p>The management of supply chains and their subsystems embodies strategic and contemporaneous challenges. The competitiveness of supply chains depends increasingly on their flexibility. Logistics as a supply chain function has to compensate increasing requirements regarding flexibility by means of a higher information density and the employment of innovative techniques for data acquisition and analytics. Indeed, the flow of information that commands the physical flow embodies a critical issue for the management of supply chains. Hence, by means of a theoretical and conceptual approach, this paper aims to propose to research management perspectives and propose a model for the application of innovative techniques for data acquisition and analytics in Cyber-Physical Logistic Systems.</p>

The commitment of state to expand the market share of sharia bank in Indonesia become reality with the approval of corporate action of merger for 3 state-owned Sharia banks, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM), Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah (BNIS) and Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah (BRIS) by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The effective date of the merger has become effective starting on February 1, 2021 and is currently becomes Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). The merger is an effort for sharia bank to make greater extent in terms of capital, asset, market and image. On the other hand, there are some considerations that must be conducted seriously so that the post-merger phase does not harm all the stakeholders such as parties who have been and will be involved post-merger, status of the employment agreement, cooperation agreement with other parties, and integration of customer data. To analyze this problem, the method used is juridical-normative with conceptual and statute approach. Therefore, the employment agreement must be reviewed between the employer and the employee so that the relationship of labor law is conducted clearly, as well as the review for ongoing cooperation with other parties. In case of data consumer, there must be a guarantee in the process of integrating customer data from 3 banks into 1 bank in the form of big data so that the path to good corporate governance (GCG) for Bank Syariah Indonesia can be achieved measurably. Keywords: Merger, Sharia Bank, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) AbstrakKomitmen negara memperluas pangsa pasar bank Syariah di Indonesia semakin menjadi kenyataan dengan disetujuinya aksi korporasi berupa merger 3 bank BUMN syariah yaitu Bank Syariah Mandiri, BNI Syariah dan BRI Syariah oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK).

The conceptual approach to assessing the quality of complex structural systems based on the large data generated during the monitoring of structures of controlled objects is justified. The methodological basis of the proposed study is the big data analytics, the methods of processing unstructured information, the technology of representing the process of changing structures of complex objects in the form of a Markov's type sequence, as well as methods of statistical analysis. It is proposed: to structure monitoring data by time slices (in the form of subsets of "stress" level measurements of controlled parameters) corresponding to a certain stage of the object's life cycle; to simulate a change in the structure of an object in the form of a dichotomous Markov chain; on the basis of the "stress-strength" model, to evaluate probabilistic quality indicators of the structural state of the controlled object, while the indicator of the transition from state to state is the fact that the level of "stress" exceeds the value of "strength". The study of the "stress-strength" model is reduced to the problem of finding the extremum of a definite integral with equality constraints, which is one of the isoperimetric problems. The results can be used in decision support systems during the structural analysis of complex systems. The effectiveness of the investigation is confirmed by a numerical example.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore the use of Internet of Things (IoT) in hospitality and examine its relationship with Big Data. Drawing upon theoretical and practical considerations, it lays a foundation for its adoption in practice and future research. Design/methodology/approach This paper uses a conceptual approach. It demonstrates the use of IoT and its impact on Big Data in hospitality through exemplars. The paper further explores the convergence of IoT, Big Data and hospitality in the context of the literature, value attributes and vendor offerings. Theoretical models from information systems and business are used to support the concepts proposed. Findings The study compiles and contextualizes the applications of IoT in hospitality by applying an input–process–output model, demonstrating the link to Big Data. The resulting value dimensions are represented by the IoT–Big Data triple impact intensity model. Research limitations/implications An outlook toward the future trajectory of IoT adoption is provided by proposing to extend the prevalent social, mobile, analytics and cloud framework with an IoT component. Practical implications Practical implications of the use of IoT and Big Data in hospitality on information technology infrastructure, business models, security and standardization highlight the scope for further empirical research. Originality/value By synthesizing IoT applications in hospitality and by bringing to light their relationship with Big Data, the study demonstrates how IoT, Big Data and hospitality converge – a synthesis that has thus far been largely unexplored. This study lays the groundwork for increased deployment of IoT and Big Data in hospitality and future academic research in this area.

In the present study we link self-report-data on personality to behavior recorded on the mobile phone. This new approach from Psychoinformatics collects data from humans in everyday life. It demonstrates the fruitful collaboration between psychology and computer science, combining Big Data with psychological variables. Given the large number of variables, which can be tracked on a smartphone, the present study focuses on the traditional features of mobile phones – namely incoming and outgoing calls and SMS. We observed N = 49 participants with respect to the telephone/SMS usage via our custom developed mobile phone app for 5 weeks. Extraversion was positively associated with nearly all related telephone call variables. In particular, Extraverts directly reach out to their social network via voice calls.
