Abstract We present new rotating vacuum configurations endowed with both dynamical torsion and nonmetricity fields in the framework of Metric-Affine gauge theory of gravity. For this task, we consider scalar-flat Weyl-Cartan geometries and obtain an axisymmetric Kerr-Newman solution in the decoupling limit between the orbital and the spin angular momentum. The corresponding Kerr-Newman-de Sitter solution is also compatible with a cosmological constant and additional electromagnetic fields.

Abstract Mechanic antennas provide opportunities for human portable, VLF communications, where a rotational dipole emits EM signals with angular momenta. In this paper we analytically derive the electromagnetic fields from a rotational electric dipole using Fourier transform method, and find that the radiated fields from the rotational electric dipole carries nonzero energy flow density in both orbital and spin angular momentum (AM) parts by AM flux tensors. Intuitively, a rotation of a dipole induces a longitudinal orbital angular momentum and a longitudinal spin angular momentum both circulating in the rotation direction. And the binding force for the rotational electric dipole is then shown to result mainly from the Coulomb fields. We believe that our work can provide novel communication designs for portable mechanic antennas.

In this paper, a hypothesis is proposed, that something similar to what happen to the puzzle of the energy losing in decay of neutron may also occur to the puzzle of the sum losing of the z-components of spin angular momenta in the synthetic course of spin coupling in Spin Topological Space. The former puzzle is related to hidden neutrial antineutrino that carries a small amount of energy away, the latter puzzle is related to hidden "constructive" zero-spin particle playing the role of a force-mediator that carries some amount of spin angular momentum, which just offsets the same amount of angular momentum losing in the formation of spin coupling.

Elsewhere, we gave the explicit expressions of the multivectors fields associated to infinitesimal symmetries which gave rise to Noether currents for classical field theories and relativistic mechanic using the Second Order Partial Differential Equation SOPDE condition for the Poincar\'e-Cartan form.\\ The main objective of this paper is to reformulate the multivector fields associated to translational and rotational symmetries of the gauge fields in particular those of the electromagnetic field which gave rise to symmetrical and invariant gauge energy-momentum tensor and the orbital angular momentum. The spin angular momentum appears however because of the internal symmetry inside the fiber.

AbstractDirectional routing of one-way classical wave has raised tremendous interests about spin-related phenomena. This sparks specifically the elastic wave study of pseudo-spin in meta-structures to perform robust manipulations. Unlike pseudo-spin in mathematics, the intrinsic spin angular momentum of elastic wave is predicted quite recently which exhibits selective excitation of unidirectional propagation even in conventional solids. However, due to the challenge of building up chiral elastic sources, the experimental observation of intrinsic spin of elastic wave is still missing. Here, we successfully measure the elastic spin in Rayleigh and Lamb modes by adopting elaborately designed chiral meta-sources that excite locally rotating displacement polarization. We observe the unidirectional routing of chiral elastic waves, characterize the different elastic spins along different directions, and demonstrate the spin-momentum locking in broad frequency ranges. We also find the selective one-way Lamb wave carries opposite elastic spin on two plate surfaces in additional to the source chirality.

We analyse the problem of transmitting a number of unknown quantum states or one composite system in one go. We derive a lower bound on the performance of such process, measured in the entanglement fidelity. The obtained bound is effectively computable and outperforms the explicit values of the entanglement fidelity calculated for the pre-existing variants of the port-based protocols, allowing for teleportation of a much larger amount of quantum information. The comparison with the exact formulas and similar analysis for the probabilistic scheme is also discussed. In particular, we present the closed-form expressions for the entanglement fidelity and for the probability of success in the probabilistic scheme in the qubit case in the picture of the spin angular momentum.
