This article uses fractional calculus to create novel links between the well-known Mittag-Leffler functions of one, two, three, and four parameters. Hence, this paper studies several new analytical properties using fractional integration and differentiation for the Mittag-Leffler function formulated by confluent hypergeometric functions. We construct a four-parameter integral expression in terms of one-parameter. The paper explains the significance and applications of each of the four Mittag-Leffler functions, with the goal of using our findings to make analyzing specific kinds of experimental results considerably simpler.

In “towards a theory of the periodical genre,” Margaret Beetham observes that “the material characteristics of the periodical ... have consistently been central to its meaning” (22–23). In particular, Beetham emphasizes, “the elation of blocks of text to visual material is a crucial part of ” the periodical’s processes of signification and the reader’s experience of making meaning out of its time-stamped yet open-ended issues (24). While this theoretical position underlies much excellent critical work in periodical studies, it is less evident in the electronic repositories on which research in the field increasingly relies. In this paper, I examine what it might mean to inform our digitization practices with a theory of the periodical hypertext as a remediated object. Focusing on the specific editorial problem of periodical pages decorated with textual ornaments, I take as my case study The Evergreen: A Northern Seasonal (1895 to 1897), a Scottish magazine scheduled for markup and publication on The Yellow Nineties Online. Making remediated Celtic ornament a structural feature of its aesthetic design and an integral expression of its larger political agenda, the Evergreen reminds us of what is at stake if our own electronic remediation practices are not adequate to the periodical objects we study.

An operational method is proposed for calculating the refraction of decameter radio waves in a randomly-inhomogeneous upper atmosphere. The method is based on the numerical-analytical solution of stochastic equations of geometric optics. An integral expression is obtained for the dispersion of the refraction angle of a radio wave on the atmospheric path using the approximation of the perturbation method. For a quick calculation of the statistical moment of the refraction angle, the integral expression is reduced to an ordinary first-order differential equation. The joint numerical solution of the unperturbed ray equations and the equations for the statistical moment allows doing an operational estimate of beam width of radio waves arriving at the observation point. The results of numerical calculations of the standard deviations of the refraction angles of radio waves on paths of various lengths are presented.

The article substantiates the need to unify the scientific approach to defining the universal categories of art and design. The conclusion about their key importance for design is made. It is proposed to consider them as universals and in ergodesign. This opens up new opportunities for cognition and application of the synthesis mechanism in ergodesign, the integral expression of the means of harmonizing the human environment that act in nature and design culture.

Personal growth. Dialectical materialist and cultural historical approach for its theoretical, conceptual, methodological, and practical understanding ABSTRACT The article constitutes theoretic result methodologic of investigation in formative contexts and accumulation of experiences in practice because of the scientific project at the University of Las Tunas: “Attention of quality to children, teens and young people”. The theoretic, conceptual approach, methodologic and the pilot to the personal growth like integral expression of the development of the personality in these stages of development has constituted a one belonging to the principal premises of scientific investigation. The boarding and understanding from dialectics have made possible going on board and assuming positions in the scientific philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and sociological order with a historic cultural vision in response to the subject matter in point, then, although constantly treated, it spreads at positions, theories and models, without a consent and common opinion in the scientific community. In turn that practice evidence insufficiencies that have borne the realization of investigations in formative contexts in as much as to: Low enrichment in the psychological contents of the personality, difficulties to relate to each other adequately with oneself and to interrelate m positively with the other ones. Reduce answer in the active relation with the midway and developmental problems of creativity, the talent and the intelligence. So that the objective be directed to the theoretic treatment methodologic of the personal growth like integral expression of the development of the personality. They utilized methods of the theoretic level: Theoretic systematization, historic logician, systemic structural functional and of the empiric level: Observation, interview, expert's opinion, analysis of the product of the activity. KEYWORDS: individual; personality; personal growth; historic cultural reality; social historic context.

In this paper, the functional Quermassintegral of log-concave functions in ℝ n is discussed. We obtain the integral expression of the i th functional mixed Quermassintegral, which is similar to the integral expression of the i th mixed Quermassintegral of convex bodies.

In this paper, we analytically dealt with the usually so-called prestressed annular membrane problem, that is, the problem of axisymmetric deformation of the annular membrane with an initial in-plane tensile stress, in which the prestressed annular membrane is peripherally fixed, internally connected with a rigid circular plate, and loaded by a shaft at the center of this rigid circular plate. The prestress effect, that is, the influence of the initial stress in the undeformed membrane on the axisymmetric deformation of the membrane, was taken into account in this study by establishing the boundary condition with initial stress, while in the existing work by establishing the physical equation with initial stress. By creating an integral expression of elementary function, the governing equation of a second-order differential equation was reduced to a first-order differential equation with an undetermined integral constant. According to the three preconditions that the undetermined integral constant is less than, equal to, or greater than zero, the resulting first-order differential equation was further divided into three cases to solve, such that each case can be solved by creating a new integral expression of elementary function. Finally, a characteristic equation for determining the three preconditions was deduced in order to make the three preconditions correspond to the situation in practice. The solution presented here could be called the extended annular membrane solution since it can be regressed into the classic annular membrane solution when the initial stress is equal to zero.

A theory is constructed of the temperature dependence of quantum oscillation phenomena in narrow-gap electronic semiconductors, taking into account the thermal smearing of Landau levels. Oscillations of longitudinal electrical conductivity in narrow-gap electronic semiconductors at various temperatures are studied. An integral expression is obtained for the longitudinal conductivity in narrow-gap electronic semiconductors, taking into account the diffuse broadening of the Landau levels. A formula is obtained for the dependence of the oscillations of longitudinal electrical conductivity on the band gap of narrow-gap semiconductors. The calculation results are compared with experimental data.
