The purpose of this research is to provide a systematic review of a new type of extended beta function and hypergeometric function using a confluent hypergeometric function, as well as to examine various belongings and formulas of the new type of extended beta function, such as integral representations, derivative formulas, transformation formulas, and summation formulas. In addition, we also investigate extended Riemann–Liouville (R-L) fractional integral operator with associated properties. Furthermore, we develop new beta distribution and present graphically the relation between moment generating function and ℓ .

The main aim of this research paper is to introduce a new extension of the Gauss hypergeometric function and confluent hypergeometric function by using an extended beta function. Some functional relations, summation relations, integral representations, linear transformation formulas, and derivative formulas for these extended functions are derived. We also introduce the logarithmic convexity and some important inequalities for extended beta function.

The current study acts on the notion of quantum calculus together with a symmetric differential operator joining a special class of meromorphic multivalent functions in the puncher unit disk. We formulate a quantum symmetric differential operator and employ it to investigate the geometric properties of a class of meromorphic multivalent functions. We illustrate a set of differential inequalities based on the theory of subordination and superordination. In this real case study, we found the analytic solutions of q-differential equations. We indicate that the solutions are given in terms of confluent hypergeometric function of the second type and Laguerre polynomial.

Hypergeometric functions and their inequalities have found frequent applications in various fields of mathematical sciences. Motivated by the above, we set up certain inequalities including extended type Gauss hypergeometric function and confluent hypergeometric function, respectively, by virtue of Hölder integral inequality and Chebyshev’s integral inequality. We also studied the monotonicity, log-concavity, and log-convexity of extended hypergeometric functions, which are derived by using the inequalities on an extended beta function.

The operator defined as the fractional integral of confluent hypergeometric function was introduced and studied in previously written papers in view of the classical theory of differential subordination. In this paper, the same operator is studied using concepts from the theory of fuzzy differential subordination and superordination. The original theorems contain fuzzy differential subordinations and superordinations for which the fuzzy best dominant and fuzzy best subordinant are given, respectively. Interesting corollaries are obtained for particular choices of the functions acting as fuzzy best dominant and fuzzy best subordinant. A nice sandwich-type theorem is stated combining the results given in two theorems proven in this paper using the two dual theories of fuzzy differential subordination and fuzzy differential superordination.

The fractional integral of confluent hypergeometric function is used in this paper for obtaining new applications using concepts from the theory of fuzzy differential subordination and superordination. The aim of the paper is to present new fuzzy differential subordinations and superordinations for which the fuzzy best dominant and fuzzy best subordinant are given, respectively. The original theorems proved in the paper generate interesting corollaries for particular choices of functions acting as fuzzy best dominant and fuzzy best subordinant. Another contribution contained in this paper is the nice sandwich-type theorem combining the results given in two theorems proved here using the two theories of fuzzy differential subordination and fuzzy differential superordination.

This paper is related to notions adapted from fuzzy set theory to the field of complex analysis, namely fuzzy differential subordinations. Using the ideas specific to geometric function theory from the field of complex analysis, fuzzy differential subordination results are obtained using a new integral operator introduced in this paper using the well-known confluent hypergeometric function, also known as the Kummer hypergeometric function. The new hypergeometric integral operator is defined by choosing particular parameters, having as inspiration the operator studied by Miller, Mocanu and Reade in 1978. Theorems are stated and proved, which give corollary conditions such that the newly-defined integral operator is starlike, convex and close-to-convex, respectively. The example given at the end of the paper proves the applicability of the obtained results.

In this paper, we study the Duffin–Kemmer–Petiau (DKP) equation in the presence of a smooth barrier in dimensions space–time (1+1) dimensions. The eigenfunctions are determined in terms of the confluent hypergeometric function [Formula: see text]. The transmission and reflection coefficients are calculated, special cases as a rectangular barrier and step potential are analyzed. A numerical study is presented for the transmission and reflection coefficients graphs for some values of the parameters [Formula: see text] are plotted.

This article uses fractional calculus to create novel links between the well-known Mittag-Leffler functions of one, two, three, and four parameters. Hence, this paper studies several new analytical properties using fractional integration and differentiation for the Mittag-Leffler function formulated by confluent hypergeometric functions. We construct a four-parameter integral expression in terms of one-parameter. The paper explains the significance and applications of each of the four Mittag-Leffler functions, with the goal of using our findings to make analyzing specific kinds of experimental results considerably simpler.
