With the variability of the business environment, the various tools that have emerged during the formation of management to support its functionality have been flexibly changed, used, or interchanged. With emphasis on the level of strategic management, it is not only the right choice of strategy and its implementation, but also the use of adequate theory or method of strategy implementation. There is a whole range of such methods, including management by objectives (MBO) by P. Drucker, a pioneer in modern management. The paper focuses on the implementation and use of a management system according to objectives in Slovak companies. Based on the content analysis of available professional resources, it defines the theoretical basis of the researched issues and the basic principles that relate to the MBO method. The analytical part is a case study of a selected Slovak company, in which we analyze the current state of management using qualitative and quantitative methods. Subsequently, based on the main findings, we propose possible recommendations for more effective management according to the objectives of the surveyed company.

In the determination of employees who have the achievement required assessment of the assessment. There are several policy setting criteria to be able to prevent subjective decision-makers such as the influence of "likes and dislikes", so it is often wrong to judge employees. This paper is intended to provide a solution to the problem of choosing qualified and qualified employees using the AHP method and using decision support systems application Expert Choice to assist decision making in determining outstanding employees based on MBO method references. From the result of comparison of criteria weight that has been inputted and has been adjusted with comparison matrix Sub Criteria of Achievement then got that occupy the highest priority data that is consumer satisfaction with point 0,434, discipline with point 0,285, operational performance with point 0,071 and achievement with point 0,058 with inconsistency 0, 03 with 0 missing judgments. The results of AHP calculations will be applied to produce the highest intensity of employee priority outputs so that employees with the highest score are eligible for rewards or rewards. <div><p><em>MBO is a dynamic process whereby the superiors and the subordinates of an organization jointly identify its goals define each individual’s major areas of responsibility in terms of results expected and use these measures to assess the contribution of its members in the development of organization. MBO increases the value of communication, which will lead to an increase in the successful completion of goals in the business settings. As a performance appraisal technique It also affects the different aspects relating to job like promotion, Increments, placement and transfer, improving performance, self-development and setting higher goals for the future . The MBO method is supposed to enhance organizational effectiveness by getting the organization to become more result focused. Present paper focuses on how far the practice of MBO is helpful in improving the performance of employees, their self –development and setting higher goals for the future in LIC and HDFC. Helpfulness of MBO in enhancing communication between superior and subordinate is also examined in the paper.</em></p></div>
