With the popularity of mobile devices, using the traditional client-server model to handle a large number of requests is very challenging. Wireless data broadcasting can be used to provide services to many users at the same time, so reducing the average access time has become a popular research topic. For example, some location-based services (LBS) consider using multiple channels to disseminate information to reduce access time. However, data conflicts may occur when multiple channels are used, where multiple data items associated with the request are broadcasted at about the same time. In this article, we consider the channel switching time and identify the data conflict issue in an on-demand multichannel dissemination system. We model the considered problem as a data broadcast with conflict avoidance (DBCA) problem and prove it is NP-complete. We hence propose the frequent-pattern-based broadcast scheduling (FPBS), which provides a new variant of the frequent pattern tree, FP ∗ -tree, to schedule the requested data. Using FPBS, the system can avoid data conflicts when assigning data items to time slots in the channels. In the simulation, we discussed two modes of FPBS: online and offline. The results show that, compared with the existing heuristic methods, FPBS can shorten the average access time by 30%.

Based on the cognitive-motivational-relational (CMR) theory, this study empirically investigates the mechanisms through which consumers' online engagement impacts their channel switching intention. The present study examines the mediating effects of perceived value and the ways in which these mediating effects are moderated by online risk perception. Data were collected from 428 online Indian consumers using systematic random sampling. The results of the structural and process macro analyses indicated that consumer online engagement has a significant impact on consumer online search benefits which in turn leads to webrooming intention. Also, perceived value mediated the effects of online search benefits and offline purchase benefits on webrooming intention. The results advance the theory of CMR by explaining consumer channel switching behaviour and are expected to help multi-channel retailers to identify the key drivers that help engage consumers online.

Abstract A virtual host refers to a host who uses an avatar to submit contributions on a video website. The virtual host is a powerful combination of artificial intelligence technology and live broadcast. In recent years, virtual video hosts have sprung up on major video websites, and their popularity is growing rapidly. Virtual host technology has been applied to many areas of society. Based on this background, this article designs a news broadcast double-effect propulsion system based on artificial intelligence and virtual host technology. This article applies the virtual host technology to the field of news broadcasting, and realizes the double-effect advancement of virtual host technology and news broadcasting. The virtual host designed in this article mainly uses sign language to broadcast news, so this article first conducts a quick and brief knowledge of sign language, and then conducts a detailed analysis of the current research status of virtual host technology and artificial intelligence technology, and uses artificial intelligence. The technology realizes the motion control of the virtual host; then the intelligent algorithm is used to realize the superimposition and synthesis of videos, and a news broadcast double-effect propulsion system of artificial intelligence and virtual host technology is designed. Finally, this article carried out an experimental test on the system’s simultaneous broadcast function and channel switching function. The test results surface excluded subjective human factors. After the improvement, the system can achieve simultaneous broadcast and successful channel switching.

With the rapid development of e-commerce technology, cross-channel consumption has become the mainstream mode of contemporary consumers. However, there are several problems of cross-channel consumption such as inconsistency of online and offline channel information and service, disfluency of channel switching which have brought adverse effects on user experience. The question arises here as to what factors influence user experience and how to build a scientific and effective evaluation index system. Different from previous studies based on sellers, this paper used grounded theory to analyze and summarize the evaluation index system of user experience under cross-channel consumption from the perspective of consumers. We summarized and refined four first level indexes which are “online platform attribute, offline entity attribute, channel switching attribute, and individual demand” and 13 second level indexes which are “platform operation, platform information, platform service, platform promotion, product quality, service quality, environment quality, channel consistency, channel switching cost, channel switching fluency, psychological expectation, personal interests and individual needs.” Then, we used BP neural network to build the evaluation model and trained and simulated the performance of the sample. The results show that the evaluation model has a good generalization ability and can effectively evaluate user experience under cross-channel consumption. Finally, implications and limitations are also discussed. This study helps to enrich the theoretical research on user experience and consumer behavior. It also provides targeted basis for in-depth analysis of cross-channel consumption behavior, establishment of user experience evaluation index system, and improving user experience and multichannel management of physical stores.

<div>A novel switching-linear hybrid dynamic regulator with dual-supply LDOs for thermo-optical tuning is presented in this brief. Compared with conventional designs, the proposed design leverages the intrinsic dual supplies to extend the operating range of the LDOs, and increases the thermo-optical tuning efficiency by reducing the dropout of the LDOs through dynamic voltage tracking. It can simultaneously regulate eight output channels and track 0.8 Vpp sinusoidal waveforms at different frequencies. Significant efficiency improvement of the proposed design is achieved for envelope signals with a small difference, which is common in thermo-optical tuning. Implemented in 130 nm CMOS process, the proposed design has a total chip area of 0.675 mm2. The proposed design achieves a conversion efficiency of 88% at 1 V output driving a 200 ohms load. Its dynamic efficiency is about 80% when tracking 50 kHz sinusoidal signals.</div>
