The Beijing Winter Olympic Games is an extremely important event, and the supply of electricity is the basis for it. In order to prevent the sudden loss of power to the event, it is necessary to carry out power repair and restore normal power supply in the shortest possible time. Contemporary research is less focused on the emergency repair of power systems. This thesis studies the dispatching of power emergency materials in two stages and in the first stage, the minimum gap rate and the shortest time for material dispatching and transportation are mainly considered, and the required types of power emergency materials are dispatched from the storage near the Olympic venues to various power failure points. In the second stage, aiming at the shortage of power emergency materials at each fault point, the power emergency materials will be dispatched from the rear national power grid regional material reserve to the power emergency materials reserve near the Olympic venues and then dispatched to each power fault point through the power emergency materials reserve. Finally, this paper verifies the effectiveness of the combination of the primary and secondary dispatching models in an example, providing a reference for further improving the emergency response capability of the Olympic venues and improving the safety system of the power system.

Emergence in mountain and foothill territories of the North Caucasus of mud streams in the defining degree is connected with harmful effects of mountain water currents. Therefore, safety of the population, objects of economy and melioration of natural landscapes by creation of protective constructions is one of important and current problems here. Reliability and operability of the specified constructions considerably depends on completeness and reliability of initial hydrogeophysical characteristics of catchment basins of the rivers that causes the high level of requirements to their validity. However, in the last decade a number of works on waterways of the North Caucasus does not conform to such requirements. The lack of due criticism from scientific community of such works promotes their increasing distribution therefore, in many cases, they can become the main reason for incorrect estimates of the developed seleopasnost of the territory, creation of irrational and unreliable protective constructions that conducts to considerable economic expenses of the state, quite often, with tragic consequences. The conclusion is drawn on unfitness of such works both for theoretical researches, and for practical use. Separate positive examples of successful realization of antitorrential actions (development of a selevedeniye), including on the most important Olympic venues of «Sochi–2014» on Krasnaya Polyana are given.

The dissertation targets on the evolvement of the Olympic architectures together with the analysis of some concrete historical cases. The dissertation has been divided into two halves, which are logically related. The first half is organized as follows: first, the historically evolvement of the Olympic Games over the past 100 years was illustrated via 4 important phases. Then it concluded the characteristics on the space layout of the Olympic architectures. Finally the technical and economical influences on the Olympic architectures were analyzed in detail. Within the second half, for each of the four characteristic stages, detailed elaborations were launched to cover the unique characteristics of the Olympic architectures in each stage chronologically.
