The potential market increase leads to an increase in the cosmetics industry. The back to nature trend, the availability of raw materials and the support of the tourism industry, especially in Bali, opens up opportunities for the development of natural-based cosmetics, one of which is Bali Stuti from PT. Karya Pak Oles Tokcer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the product’s attribute (quality; brand; design and packaging) that affect customer satisfaction of Bali Stuti. This research is an analytical study using a questionnaire instrument with a 4-point Likert scale with favorable and unfavorable statements and filled in by respondents that meet the inclusion criteria. Sampling techniques with incidental sampling. The questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability and then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study found that the product’s attributes affect customer satisfaction. Design and packaging factors partially have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction, so there is a need for development and innovation in design and packaging to increase customer satisfaction.

The need for a control chart that can visualize and recognize the symmetric or asymmetric pattern of the monitoring process with more than one type of quality characteristic is a necessity in the era of Industry 4.0. In the past, the control charts were only developed to monitor one kind of quality characteristic. Several control charts were created to deal with this problem. However, there are some problems and drawbacks to the conventional mixed charts. In this study, another approach is used to monitor mixed quality characteristics by applying the Kernel Principal Component Analyisis (KPCA) method. Using the Hotelling’s T2 statistic, the kernel PCA mix chart is proposed to simultaneously monitor the variable and attribute quality characteristics. Due to its ability to estimate the asymmetric pattern of the mixed process, the kernel density estimation (KDE) used in the proposed chart has successfully estimated the control limits that produce ARL0 at about 370 for α=0.00273. Through several experiments based on the proportion of the attribute characteristics and kernel functions, the proposed chart demonstrates better performance in detecting outlier and shift in the process. When it is applied to monitor the synthetic data, the proposed chart can detect the shift accurately. Additionally, the proposed chart outperforms the performance of the conventional mixed chart based on PCA mix by producing lower false alarm with more accurate detection of out of control processes.

Computer technology has been used to support the learning process at the university. Learning process, generally involved students and teachers in order to learn about materials on subject courses and also evaluate student competencies regularly. Teachers can evaluate student competencies or knowledge by e-assessment. E-assessment is one of the domains of e-learning which involves the use computer in assessment, includes: setting, delivery, marking and reporting of assessments. The Major benefit of the e - assessment system is its flexibility in term of global access and devices used to access. When developing an e-assessment system, we have two focuses on multi-dimensional approach, such as user friendly and student centric nature. Because of its complexity, software architecture need to define so software developer will develop software properly. By designing software architecture, view of the system that includes the system components, the behavior of those components, and the ways the components interact could clearly define. Architecture Description Language (ADL) has been used to describe software, because it provides a concrete syntax and formal framework for characterizing architectures. As the result, the design of e-assessment system architecture can meet the needs of attribute quality. The use of notation to explain ADL is able to provide a complete description than simply explaining ADL is using text. Furthermore, the e-assessment system architecture design is expected to be used as a reference for software development in establishing an e-assessment system.

We have established a certification system for antibodies to be used in chromatin immunoprecipitation assays coupled to massive parallel sequencing (ChIP-seq). This certification comprises a standardized ChIP procedure and the attribution of a numerical quality control indicator (QCi) to biological replicate experiments. The QCi computation is based on a universally applicable quality assessment that quantitates the global deviation of randomly sampled subsets of ChIP-seq dataset with the original genome-aligned sequence reads. Comparison with a QCi database for >28,000 ChIP-seq assays were used to attribute quality grades (ranging from ‘AAA’ to ‘DDD’) to a given dataset. In the present report we used the numerical QC system to assess the factors influencing the quality of ChIP-seq assays, including the nature of the target, the sequencing depth and the commercial source of the antibody.  We have used this approach specifically to certify mono and polyclonal antibodies obtained from Active Motif directed against the histone modification marks H3K4me3, H3K27ac and H3K9ac for ChIP-seq. The antibodies received the grades AAA to BBC (www.ngs-qc.org). We propose to attribute such quantitative grading of all antibodies attributed with the label “ChIP-seq grade”.
