La investigación descriptiva simple de corte transversal se realizó en una muestra de 401 unidades económicas con el objetivo de conocer el grado de implementación de acciones de responsabilidad social en las empresas micro y pequeñas de la zona Atlautla, Ozumba y Amecameca, para identificar áreas de oportunidad que permitan generar estrategias enfocadas al fortalecimiento de la apropiación de dichas acciones en su modelo de gestión; se encontró que más del 50% de las empresas encuestadas, tienen un grado de implementación de alto a medio y la principal área de oportunidad son las acciones inherentes al desarrollo comunitario. Abstract The following research is based on a simple descriptive cross-sectional design and was sampled on 401 economic units with the objective of establishing the extent of social responsibility implemented in micro and small enterprises in the areas of Atlautla, Ozumba and Amecameca which allowed us to identify windows of opportunity that will permit us to generate strategies focused on strengthening the adoption of said actions in their management model; we found that more than 50% of the enterprises surveyed possess a high to medium degree of implementation and the main window of opportunity has to do with the actions inherent to the development of their community.

Studies on the effects of visitors on zoo animals have shown mixed findings and as a result, the manner in which visitors affect zoo animals remains unclear for many species, including a rarely studied taxa such as penguins. Penguins are a common zoo-housed species and have been shown to display huddling, vigilance and avoidance towards zoo visitors which can be indicative of fear. Here, we examined the effects of covering one visitor viewing area window, out of four, on little penguin (Eudyptula minor) behaviours that may be indicative of fear. Two treatments were randomly imposed on different days: (1) The main visitor viewing area window, where most visitor-penguin interactions occurred, was uncovered (‘Main window uncovered’) and (2) The main visitor viewing area window was covered (‘Main window covered’). Penguin numbers and behaviour were recorded near the main visitor viewing area window and the three other visitor viewing area windows, as well as one area not visible to visitors (‘Corner’ area). Furthermore, visitor numbers and visitor behaviour were recorded at all four visitor viewing area windows. Covering the main visitor viewing area window reduced the proportion of visitors present at this window by about 85% (p < 0.001) and reduced potentially threatening visitor behaviours at this window such as tactile contact with the window, loud vocalisations and sudden movement (p < 0.05). When the main visitor viewing area window was covered, the proportion of penguins present increased by about 25% (p < 0.05), the proportion of visible penguins preening in the water increased by about 180% (p < 0.05) and the proportion of visible penguins vigilant decreased by about 70% (p < 0.05) in the area near this main window. A preference for the Corner area was also found whereby 59% and 49% of penguins were present in this area when the main window was uncovered and covered, respectively. These results provide limited evidence that the little penguins in this exhibit showed an aversion to the area near the main visitor viewing area window when it was uncovered based on the increased avoidance and vigilance and decreased preening in the water in this area. This suggests visitors may be fear-provoking for these little penguins. However, it is unclear whether visual contact with visitors per se or other aspects of visitor contact, such as visitor-induced sounds and vibrations, were responsible for this apparent aversion when this window was uncovered.

Abstract Optimization of resources is the key to improve our ability to perform multiple tasks with limited time and money. In the context of thermal comfort assessment, optimization becomes important in large rooms where tens of individuals perform similar tasks. This work focuses on the identification of the minimum number of measurement points that allows an accurate description of the thermal environment. Accuracy of description is assumed if no significant loss of information is associated to the transition from the ‘primary’ thermal map based on all available measurement points to a ‘secondary’ thermal map based on a reduced set of measurement points. The concept of ‘no significant loss’ is quantified by requiring that the difference in PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) between the two maps is kept <0.1 in the vast majority (95%) of points. PMV is a standardized synthetic index that is used worldwide for quantifying thermal comfort (ISO 7730, 2005) taking into account both environmental (thermo-hygrometric) and personal (activity, clothing) quantities. We show that the uncertainty induced by the degraded resolution of the thermal map has a limited impact on the overall uncertainty on PMV. Application of the method to a few test environments shows that the room size perpendicular to the main window and the windows orientation play the largest role in determining spatial inhomogeneity in thermal maps. A minor concurring factor is the room area.

The article is devoted to the work of the automated information library system (AILS) “Bibliobus”, developed by specialists of the Library for Natural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (LNS RAS). The purpose of this article is to acquaint readers of the journal with the specific features of the modern AILS “Bibliobus” that provides complex automation of the main technological processes on the “way of book” of non-periodicals received in the centralized library system (CLS) holdings of LNS RAS. The authors describe capability features and functions of the system, the rules of work with it, the user interface for performing work related to centralized acquisition, book registration and distribution of the incoming books between the CLS libraries, cataloguing, classifying, etc. The system has a number of features that distinguish it from most automated library systems. It is focused on the centralized library network; part of the information is entered in the Centre, part — interactively in the libraries of the network; all the accounting and financial documents required by the centralized system are generated automatically. The AILS “Bibliobus” widely uses the bar coding, it applies to all stages of publication processing on the “way of book”; the bar codes appear on all supporting documents and printed cards. When cataloguing the publications, bibliographer introduces in the main “window” of system the bibliographic description in the format of State Standard GOST 7.1—2003 with some mark-ups, and in additional “windows” — the maximum possible metadata, providing multi-aspect search of the publication in the catalogue; the search fields for e-catalogue are generated automatically. The AILS “Bibliobus” provides for the formation of multi-level records. Its database stores the images of scanned text pages displayed in the electronic catalogue; all operations are logged with the start and end time, which allowed building on its basis a powerful reference and statistical system. The system has a modern user interface that allows the operator to obtain multiple information on various aspects of technological operations.

Paul was claimed as the most controversial person in his theology. Many scholars said that he was influenced by Hellenistic Judaism in his theology; while others claimed it was affected by Jewish thinking. The concept of ‘protokoj’ (firstborn) was stated being influenced by Hellenistic Judaism and did not imply the rest of New Testament Theology. Some said that firstborn in Colossian 1: 15–20 was a hymn in praise of Christ, while others would say that firstborn in the Hymn Christology is congenial, but not identical with Paul’s theology. This research aimed to show the concept of firstborn as the main window showed Pauline Christology significance in the light of Paschal theology. The methods used in this research were descriptive and biblical text analysis. The conclusion of this research is that the death of Christ is the main point to see how firstborn of all creation not counted as ontological in meaning, but it has the power to show the readers about Pauline Christology. The firstborn of all creation is seen in the context of redemptive history and bring the audience to see how powerful the title to see Pauline Christology.
