Alternative Communication Boards (ACB) are used to compensate for the difficulties faced by people with complex communication needs. These boards facilitate the construction of telegraphic phrases through visual cues, using colors and pictograms to represent the grammatical class and the meaning of the words, respectively. In this paper, we present the combination of three essential materials to construct a semantic ACB. In this context, a Semantic ACB is a communication board that uses a semantic script to guide the message authoring. The proposal was evaluated using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a basis. The results demonstrate that caregivers are more interested in a semantic ACB that is useful than in one that is easy to use.

In this paper, the problem of audio semantic communication over wireless networks is investigated. In the considered model, wireless edge devices transmit large-sized audio data to a server using semantic communication techniques. The techniques allow devices to only transmit audio semantic information that captures the contextual features of audio signals. To extract the semantic information from audio signals, a wave to vector (wav2vec) architecture based autoencoder is proposed, which consists of convolutional neural networks (CNNs). The proposed autoencoder enables high-accuracy audio transmission with small amounts of data. To further improve the accuracy of semantic information extraction, federated learning (FL) is implemented over multiple devices and a server. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can converge effectively and can reduce the mean squared error (MSE) of audio transmission by nearly 100 times, compared to a traditional coding scheme.

The aim of the work is to identify strategies for transferring the meanings of information messages used by students in social networks, and how these strategies are related to the students’ meaning-of-life orientations. The study was conducted with the use of a theoretical method, as well as a survey, a content analysis, an expert method, a psychodiagnostic method, descriptive statistics, and also nonparametric tests, the Kruskal-Wallis H-test and Spearman’s rank correlation method. Among modern youth, social networks are one of the most common sources of obtaining and distributing information. Therefore, it is important to find out what strategies for transferring the meanings of information messages are used by respondents. The expert method and content analysis allow us to identify 6 strategies for transferring meanings that students use in communication when transferring the meanings of various publications in social networks. Further analysis shows that each strategy has its own features of the meaning-of-life orientations components and significant relationships between the strategies of the meanings transferring and the components of the meaning-of-life orientations of social networks users are also revealed. Thus, we can conclude that the features of the transferring of meanings are significantly influenced by the meaning-of-life orientations, in particular, goals in life. Thus, the study emphasizes the importance of the semantic communication in social networks, the results of which can influence the effectiveness of communication, training, and the interaction among users.

This article reviews the 6G global landscape and the most relevant private and public initiatives, with US$ billions of investments in next generation information and communication (ICT) systems and application services. Then, it presents the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) technology roadmap towards 6G and 5G New Radio (NR) releases. This is followed by an introduction to the latest shift in paradigm “from Internet of Things (IoT) to Internet of Intelligence (IoI)”, which paves the way towards 6G wireless. The new system is anticipated to provide pervasive connectivity to functions with the ability to represent knowledge, process knowledge, and make decisions, with or without human intervention. Beyond that, the paper discusses the new carrier frequency bands above 110 GHz; and innovative fundamental enabling technologies, such as integrated semantic communication and sensing, low earth orbiting satellites, quantum key distribution, post quantum cryptography, and distributed ledger technology; and portrays a network vision for 6G wireless, looking to 2030 and beyond. Conclusions are drawn on 6G prospects, the needs of security by design for 6G; as well as the potential of 6G for securely connecting pervasive intelligence and preserving privacy; and new research directions to cater for new use categories and requirements.

The concepts "discourse" has appeared in connection with expansion of linguistic researches out of offer limits - to the sphere of superphrase syntax. Therefore the discourse from the linguistic point of view is the set consisting of a logical chain of offers which are in semantic communication. This article is devoted to a question of studying of a professional discourse. In article the concept "professional discourse" among adjacent concepts is described and defined. In this article the professional discourse understood as communication of experts among themselves or with those who address them for receiving consultation or the professional help is studied. Professional communication is opposed to nonprofessional. The discourse plays an important role in professional socialization which is process by means of which people acquire the specialized knowledge, skills, the relations, norms and interests necessary for effective implementation of the professional roles. The professional discourse is the language created by professionals with special training to perform operations in a workplace. Some scientists consider that it is connected only with communication between the writer and the reader, both which are professionals. Others claim that, at least, one of participants has to be a professional. For example, some scientists claim that one of the defining characteristics of a professional discourse is importance of the status in which the person has a professional role and, therefore, higher status, than the nonprofessional that is the reason that the professional discourse usually takes place to be in establishment. Therefore further in our work we will try to consider questions of a professional discourse in more detail. In article works of the Russian and foreign scientists who are engaged in studying of this problem will be considered and analysed.

The subject of analysis is addition as a phenomenon of language and speech, as well as the specificity of the text-forming function of addition in artistic and speech creativity. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that until now in the theory of syntax there is no generally accepted view of the essence of addition and how it is produced in speech, and it is also not considered that the text-forming function of addition is unique in different speech spheres, in particular in artistic speech creativity. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that addition is presented as a special syntactic form, characterized by its semantics and formally constructive organization and determining the assumptions and limitations of its speech implementation. The dual manifestation of the text-forming function of attachment in artistic and speech creativity is shown. The research material is based on the late stories of V. G. Lidin, included in the collection “Melting Snows” (1980): this writer, whose metapoetics is characterized by close attention to syntax, used addition with extraordinary skill.  When analyzing addition constructions in three stories, it was found that the addition is produced intentionally, counting on a textual perspective. It has been established that the text-forming function of addition is manifested in the organization of compositional-semantic communication on the one hand, and in the creation of an artistic detail on the other hand.
