The aim is to find ways to ensure sustainable development and increase the hotel, restaurant, and tourism business's competitiveness. The authors used the correlation-regression dependence of the number of tourists going abroad Y on the income of the population X and Fisher's statistical criterion to check the model's adequacy. Authors proposed the system for ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness of the hotel, restaurant and tourism business. The peculiarity of the proposed system is that it covers all aspects of sustainable development, includes multi-level governing bodies, integrable legal forms of organizations and science, making it possible to form interrelated elements of sustainable development and increase the competitiveness of the hotel and hotel industry, tourism in general. In years of political instability, the number of domestic tourists, with a positive upward trend, is falling sharply, despite rising incomes. Fisher's statistical criterion indicates this model's adequacy: an increase in income of the entire population of Ukraine by UAH 10 mln. would lead to the additional appearance of about 8 Ukrainian tourists travelling abroad. The coefficient of elasticity Ex (Y) = 0.9193 shows that an increase in the income of the entire population of Ukraine by 1% would increase the flow of Ukrainian tourists travelling abroad by about 0.9%. The article is devoted to the search for ways to increase the competitiveness of the hotel and restaurant and tourism business. The analysis showed that 2019 was a good year for the entire HRTB. However, the global pandemic COVID-19 in 2020 significantly affected this area: border closures, cancellation of messages between countries, total quarantine, weekend quarantine and other prohibitions. Therefore, the search for a strategy to increase the competitiveness of HRTB facilities in 2020/2021 is the most relevant. The authors proposed a system for ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness of the HRTB. The system covers all aspects of sustainable development.

The investigational studies of regression dependence of the new efficient regular packing bed’s flow friction on gas velocity and liquid spray rate has been carried out. The tests were made by the procedure of a complete two-factor experiment. On account of experiment design matrix, there are four tests to be made to determine the regression dependence. It is found that the packing bed’s flow friction builds up along with increase of superficial gas velocity and liquid spray rate. The regression dependence that puts packing bed’s flow friction in touch with superficial gas velocity and liquid spray rate is procured. The specific dependence is valid for air velocity 1.21-3.12 m/sec and liquid spray rate 0.0080-0.0304 m3/(m2 sec). The conclusion on significance of regression dependencies has been made in terms of Student’s t-test. The sufficiency of regression equation has been inspected via the Fisher’s criterion. The resulting regression equation can be utilized in the design and engineering process of absorbers with the shock-spray packing.

The article discusses the features of the method for assessing the hardness of coating materials based on the dynamic indentation approach, the essence of which is the continuous registration of the process of contact interaction of the indenter with the material under study. According to the research results, a regression dependence was obtained in the form of a polynomial of the second degree, which makes it possible to assess the hardness of a galvanic nickel coating.

The article discusses the prediction of the time of the beginning and end of watering and self-pressure of gas wells using the example of Cenomanian wells. The regression dependence of the GWC level on reservoir pressure and the volume of withdrawn gas is given. Equations are proposed for calculating the value of accumulated gas production corresponding to the beginning of the well watering and its complete watering.

A model of the formation of the surface relief hiring milling of rolled billets and a method for selecting the milling mode based determining the regression dependence of the resulting relief on the processing mode are proposed. Introduction. Arterial hypertension is associated with electric instability of the myocardium and the development of fatal ventricular arrhythmias. One of the main causes for the electric instability of the myocardium is the in homogeneity of the ventricular repolarization processes, which can be estimated by studying QT interval duration and dispersion. Objectives.To study the dependence of QT interval (QTc) duration on the level of blood pressure in patients with arterial hypertension using a standard ECG recording and an ambulatory ECG monitoring. Materials and methods. Were examined147 patients, 124 of which with arterial hypertension and 23 without arterial hypertension. Patients were divided into 5 groups according to their blood pressure level: group 1 – normal or elevated blood pressure on a background of antihypertensive therapy: 56 patients (38.1 %), group 2 –grade 1 hypertension; 39 patients (26, 5 %), group 3 –grade 2 hypertension: 22 patients (15 %), group 4 –grade 3 hypertension: 7 patients (4.8 %), the fifth group – normal or elevated pressure: 23 patients, which is 15.6 % (comparison group, without arterial hypertension). The study of the dependence of QT interval (QTc) duration on the level of BP was carried out according to the analysis of the data of standard ECG, ECG Holter monitoring and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. Results. A statistically significant regression dependence of the duration of minimal nocturnal QT intervals and corrected QTc on the stage of arterial hypertension in groups 1 and 4 with p < 0.05 was establishedon the basis of Student’s t-test for independent samples. Conclusions. There was a statistically significant regression dependence of the minimum QT interval at night and the minimum corrected interval QTc at night on the daily level of variability 1 of systolic blood pressure, which indicates a direct dependence of the QT interval and QTc on blood pressure.

Threaded connections of machine parts are widely used in various technical devices. The needs of modern machines stimulate the development of accurate methods for calculating and assembling threaded connections. The problem of calculating the strength of the connection is associated with determining the coefficient of the main load that affects the distribution of the external load between the bolt and the machine parts. One part of the load falls on the bolt; the other part unloads the connection elements. Until recently, when calculating the coefficient of the main load, approximations or recommendations to take its value in the range of 0.2–0.3 have been used. This paper refines the calculations and presents specific mathematical expressions for a computer program developed for calculating the coefficient of the main load. The calculation results show that the value of coefficient of the main load varies over a wide range depending on the bolt diameter, thickness, material of the parts, etc. An analysis of the results of programming and the construction of the regression dependence of the coefficient of the main load on the thickness of the connection for a given series of standard bolts is carried out using the statistical package Statgraphic Plus. Regression simplifies the calculation of the coefficient of the main load for any thickness of parts with a slight decrease in accuracy.
