The subject of the study is new technologies for managing industrial innovation funding. The aim of the article is to form an optimal mechanism for the application of technologies for managing industrial innovation funding based on the use of new financial instruments. The relevance of the research is due to the increasing role of innovation in ensuring competitive advantages and market stability of industrial enterprises, as well as the growing need to attract funding. The scientific novelty consists in grouping the existing financing technologies into three main groups: traditional, modern and new. The research methods are analysis, systematization, synthesis, induction, deduction, modeling. The authors built a model of the mutual influence of innovative industrial development and the subsequent development of financing technologies in the financial sector. In the course of the study, the author obtained the following results: a mechanism for applying new technologies to manage innovation funding was developed, a priority financial instrument was identified for use within the framework of the developed mechanism. The authors conclude that the role of digital technologies in the activities of an industrial enterprise and, accordingly, in innovation funding is increasing. At the same time, the activities of an enterprise in attracting resources by issuing digital securities (shares) to finance innovations are of the greatest practical interest.

Intellectual property is one of the main topics of our time. All organizations and companies that work with research and innovation have intellectual property as one of the factors for economic and financial growth. Every day, many governments discover about the benefits of industrial innovation and how patents can defend new technologies. The purpose of this research is to report on intellectual property in Brazil. It is concluded that it is necessary to advance in policies, that Brazilian patents take a long time to be granted. Investments are needed so that companies in Brazil can learn about patent laws and benefit from them.

Constructing and exploring the evolution mechanism of an industrial innovation ecosystem in resource-based cities (RBCs) is the most effective way to solve the contradiction between economic development, energy shortage, and environmental degradation. Taking 10 typical RBCs in Shanxi Province as examples, this paper used the method of system dynamics (SD) to build a model of the industrial innovation ecosystem of RBCs and set up scenarios to simulate and predict the evolution of the industrial innovation ecosystem of RBCs. The results showed that the industrial innovation ecosystem of RBCs is a complex system composed of four subsystems: innovation players, innovation content, innovation resources, and innovation environment. In innovation players, the increase in the amount of talent has a more obvious effect on technology level and GDP than R&D funding. In innovation content, the improvement of management level has a slow and continuous positive impact on GDP. Technology achievements, once implemented, will improve GDP more than management progress does. In innovation resources, human capital has greater potential for an increase in GDP and per capita consumption expenditure. In innovation resources, technology level plays an important role in slowing down the deterioration of the ecological environment. This study enriched the theoretical paradigm of the research on the industrial innovation ecosystem, and provided effective strategies to solve the development problems of RBCs.

This study explores the relationship between spatial agglomeration and innovation, taking Chinese manufacturing data as an example. Tractable model is built to explain the mechanism through which spatial concentration of firms in a city affects industrial innovation. Then in the empirical analysis, new agglomeration and innovation indicators are used to test the theoretical conclusions at the city-industry level. Results show that the geographical concentration of firms has significant negative effects on industrial innovation and growth. These overall effects can be divided into positive and negative categories after considering the interaction between the industrial labor scale and firm’s spatial agglomeration. Industries with a higher labor scale will bear more crowding effects of firms’ spatial agglomeration. These findings mean that moving to a less concentrated area might be a good choice for the labor-intensive firms which aim at innovation.
