The research was conducted in Mangunrejo Village, Tegalrejo District, Magelang Regency. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of cosmopolitan and innovation characteristics with the attitude of beef cattle breeders, in the treatment of traumatic wounds using Iodine plant extract ointment. Data were collected by means of observation and questionnaires. The variables observed were the level of cosmopolitan, innovation characteristics and attitudes. The study design used is the One Shot Case Study method. The population used is the Amanah farmer/livestock group with a sample of 32 people determined using the saturated sample technique. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and statistical analysis (simple correlation or Pearson product moment and multiple correlation). The results showed a significant relationship (p < 0.05) between the cosmopolitan level and the attitude of goat breeders with a correlation coefficient (ryx1) of 0.395 (positive), indicating a significant relationship (p < 0.05) between the characteristics of innovation and the attitudes of cattle farmers. cut on the treatment of traumatic wounds using an iodine plant extract ointment and the correlation coefficient (ryx2)= 0.355 (positive). Taken together, there was also a significant relationship (p < 0.05) between the level of cosmopolitan and innovation characteristics with the attitude of beef cattle farmers on the treatment of traumatic wounds using plant extract ointment (Ryx1x2) of 0.473 (positive). This study can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of cosmopolitan and innovation characteristics with the attitude of beef cattle farmers in the treatment of traumatic wounds using plant extract ointment.

This study aims to determine the adoption of farmers and the factors that influence the adoption of farmers in the use of superior varieties of Malaysian cassava. This study was conducted in Sei Rampah Sub-district, Serdang Bedagai Regency from March to May 2021. This location was chosen because it is a cassava-producing village. Determination of the sample using a random sample, ie all members of the population are assumed to have the same opportunity to be selected as the research sample. The data collection method used is observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. To determine the level of adoption, a Likert scale model was used and to determine the factors that influence adoption, multiple linear regression analysis models were used. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the adoption rate of farmers in the use of superior varieties of Malaysian cassava in Sei Rampah Sub-district was very, simultaneously the variables of innovation characteristics (X1), communication media (X2), the role of extension workers (X3) and the role of farmer groups (X4) together -equally significant effect on farmer adoption in the use of Malaysia cassava varieties, while partially the factors that significantly influence are the characteristics of innovation (X1), communication media (X2) and the role of farmer groups (X4) while the non-significant influence is the role of extension worker (X3).

Traditionally, Facility Managers (FM) have often been handed over large numbers of files (hard and soft copies) consisting of among others drawings, specifications, operation and maintenance manuals together with product data sheets in order for them to carry out their tasks in managing facilities. This practice may indicate that information exchange between the AEC and FM phases is still fragmented. The FM phase of the construction project life cycle remains the most disconnected from the rest of the cycle. Therefore, the integration of FM at the early phase of BIM project is expected to fully engage BIM technology and bring potential significant value to assets and estates. This paper is part of a research that aims to identify the influence of knowledge and persuasion on deciding whether to adopt or reject BIM-FM integration at the early phase of BIM. Rogers' Theory of Diffusion of Innovation (DoI) has been applied to support the formation of the conceptual framework. Connecting the organisational characteristics associated with adoption innovation literature with the factors influencing the integration process (innovation characteristics, adopter characteristics, internal and external environment characteristics) brings interesting research potential that is not commonly investigated. This paper aims to have a relatively comprehensive view of the factors that can influence the adoption or rejection of BIM-FM integration at the early stage of the decision phase.

SMEs are the pillars on which most of the economies worldwide rest. Without the support of qualified technological innovation, it will be very difficult for SMEs’ performance to improve and impossible for them to reach their sustainability goals. Small businesses should therefore be encouraged to embrace the next technological frontier, Industry 4.0 (I4.0). The main purpose of this research is to understand the relationship between the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies and sustainability goals, along with an analysis of how innovation characteristics make implementing I4.0 easier for small businesses. To answer the research questions and analyse the high complex data, this research performed a structural equation model by using AMOS software. The results indicated that technology innovation characteristics have a positive significant effect on I4.0 implementation and sustainability goals. However, effective implementation of I4.0 mediates between the relationship of innovation characteristics and sustainability goals, except observability. The implications of this research are that SMEs should develop effective I4.0, implement it, and build innovation characteristics to reach sustainability goals.

Purpose This paper aims to analyze the contribution of the diffusion of innovation framework to eco-sustainability. It examines the interplay of organizational environment, innovation and innovation adopters’ characteristics on the diffusion of environmental sustainability. Design/methodology/approach The data for empirical validation were obtained through an offline survey from the hospitals. The proposed conceptual framework was tested using the hierarchical regression analysis technique. Findings The results show that diffusion of innovation characteristics and organizational environment significantly influence the environmental sustainability index. The adopters’ characteristics do not have any direct effect on the environmental sustainability but this effect becomes significant in the presence of a favorable organizational environment. Practical implications Focusing on innovations that offer an advantage over the existing processes, are compatible with the existing system, are uncomplicated and simple to implement and can be experimented before full implementation may greatly accelerate the adoption of eco-innovations in hospitals. Fostering an organizational environment where employees are encouraged and rewarded for contributing to sustainable innovations can play a substantial role in the implementation of environmental sustainability innovations. Originality/value This study is an original contribution as it advances the limited understanding of the predictors and moderators of environmental sustainability in hospitals.

Utilization of digital media for an extension is a solution the improvement of the competence of Anti-Narcotics extension agents. This study aims to analyze the influence of the individual characteristics of the extension agents, patterns of digital media use, institutional support, and characteristics of innovation on the competence of Anti-Narcotics extension agents. This research was conducted in October 2020 - January 2021 through a census of 170 (98%) functional officers of Anti-Narcotics extension agents throughout Indonesia who have worked for approximately two years. The research instruments were questions, statements (telephone and message), and interviews which were conducted using the digital application Google Form and WhatsApp. Data were processed using Partial Least Square. The results showed that the use of digital media by extension agents consisting of patterns of digital media use, characteristics of innovation, institutional support, and competence of Anti-Narcotics extension agents in the field of information and communication technology were in the Medium category. The competence of Anti-Narcotics extension agents in the use of digital media was in the medium category. This competence is influenced by factors of digital media utilization patterns, innovation characteristics, and institutional support.

Abstract In emerging economies such as China, marked by profound regional disparities in terms of socio-economic wealth and technology, different regions use not only different levels of inputs into the innovation process, but also produce different outputs with qualitative diversity that is seldom sufficiently acknowledged. This paper uses structured expert interviews (AHP) to provide insights into the innovation profiles of four selected Chinese regions: Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and Kunming. It combines information on drivers of innovation as well as innovation characteristics and objectives to establish and compare regional innovation profiles.
