ẢNH HƯỞNG CỦA NHIỆT ĐỘ VÀ ĐỘ MẶN ĐẾN SỰ PHÁT TRIỂN PHÔI, TỶ LỆ NỞ CỦA TRỨNG CÁ NÂU (Scatophagus argus Linnaeus, 1766)

Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm tìm ra điều kiện tối ưu về nhiệt độ và độ mặn đến sự phát triển phôi và tỷ lệ nở của trứng cá Nâu Scatophagus argus. Thí nghiệm thứ nhất được tiến hành với ba mức nhiệt độ khác nhau là 24oC, 28oC và 32oC. Thí nghiệm thứ hai ấp trứng ở bốn mức độ mặn khác nhau là 20‰, 24‰, 28‰, 32‰. Mỗi thí nghiệm được thực hiện theo phương pháp thiết kế ngẫu nhiên hoàn toàn với bốn lần lặp lại. Kết quả thí nghiệm chỉ ra rằng tỷ lệ nở cao nhất và tỷ lệ dị hình thấp nhất khi ấp ở nhiệt độ 28oC và sai khác có ý nghĩa thống kê (p<0,05) với các nghiệm thức nhiệt độ 24oC và 32oC. Tương tự, sự phát triển phôi và tỷ lệ nở đạt kết quả tốt hơn khi ấp ở độ mặn 28‰ so với các nghiệm thức còn lại (p<0,05). Vì vậy, nghiên cứu này khuyến cáo rằng, quá trình phát triển phôi và tỷ lệ nở của trứng cá Nâu đạt kết quả tốt hơn khi được ấp ở nhiệt độ 28oC và độ mặn 28‰. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the optimal conditions for temperature and salinity on embryonic development and hatching rate of spotted scat Scatophagus argus. The first experiment was conducted at three different temperature treatments at 24oC, 28oC, 32oC. The second experiment incubated eggs at four different salinity treatments at 20‰, 24‰, 28‰, 32‰. Each experiment was performed using the completely randomized design with four replicates. The results indicated that the highest hatching rate (82,4 ± 3,5%) and lowest deformity rate (4,5 ± 0,4%) was incubated at 28oC compared to other treatments of 24oC and 32oC (p<0,05). Similarly, the embryonic development and hatching rate of spotted scat showed a better development at salinity 28‰ than those at 20‰, 24‰, and 32‰ (p<0,05). The present study recommended that the embryonic development and hatching rate of spotted scat achieved a better result at temperature 28oC và salinity 28‰.

Analisis Kandungan Logam Berat Pb, Cd dan Hg pada Ikan di Pantai Samudra Indah Kabupaten Bengkayang

Perairan Pantai Samudra Indah dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas manusia seperti aktivitas rumah tangga, perikanan, pelayaran dan aktivitas industri PLTU (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap). Limbah yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas industri PLTU mengandung bahan yang membahayakan bagi lingkungan. Keberadaan PLTU di kawasan Pantai Samudra Indah berpotensi melepaskan logam berat ke perairan. Logam berat dapat bersumber dari batubara yang digunakan sebagai bahan bakar PLTU. Analisis kandungan logam berat pada sampel ikan menggunakan metode Spektrometer Serapan Atom (SSA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kandungan logam berat Pb pada sampel ikan adalah <0,0204 μg/g, logam berat Cd berada pada kisaran 0,0337 – 0,0572 μg/g dan logam berat Hg pada kisaran <0,0138 – 0,2347 μg/g. Nilai Maximum Tolerable Intake atau batas konsumsi maksimum agar tidak keracunan logam berat Pb, Cd dan Hg untuk orang dengan berat badan 50-80 kg adalah 0,34 – 0,54 kg per minggu untuk ikan kelarau (Selaroides leptolepis), 5-79 – 9,27 kg per minggu untuk ikan kambing (Choerodon rubescens), ikan ketang (Scatophagus argus) dan ikan kerapu (Epinephelus amblycephalus).

COMPARATIVE STUDY OF HEAVY METALS IN THE MUSCLE OF TWO EDIBLE FINFISH SPECIES IN AND AROUND INDIAN SUNDARBANS

We analyzed the concentrations of zinc, copper, and lead in the muscle of two commercially important finfish species namely, Pampus argenteus and Scatophagus argus in and around the World Heritage site of Indian Sundarbans from 8th to 15th July 2021 using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The sequence of bioaccumulation of the selected metals is as per the order Zn > Cu > Pb irrespective of the species. The degree of metal accumulation showed variation between the species with the highest value in Scatophagus argus followed by Pampus argenteus, which may be related to the difference in their food habit or degree of exposure to ambient media contaminated with heavy metals.
