Apples are one of the fruits that much post-harvest processing can do. Apples can be processed into drinks or snacks. The need for information about nutritional content is needed by consumers. Therefore, a traceability information system is needed that can enable consumers to know the nutritional content involved. This research uses the Waterfall model information system development method and the Unified modeling language (UML). This method allows for the sequential development of information systems. The results of this research will be in the form of an information system that has been tested using the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Response for a Class (RFC) method. The resulting Response for a Class (RFC) value is 5.17, meaning that this information system will be easy to adapt later

The role of Information System Design Theory in software development is enormous. With the help of design theory, developers could estimate how the system will be and the reasons why the system reacts that way. The focus of the article is to revised and re-establish the design theory of a self-service university management system. The objectives of this publication are to identify the most relevant publication that will act as a guideline to generate the design theory artifacts and to establish the artifacts which will consist of three components named kernel theory, meta-requirements, and meta-design for the stated system. The system scope will be focused on enabling self-service functions. Validation will be done through FEDS framework with the inclusion of a traceability matrix between the meta-requirement against the real-world user requirement. The significance of this article is to provide an initial set of design theory artifacts to be utilized by software developers in the development or evaluation of a University Management System.

The 2017-2027 US National Academy of Sciences Decadal Survey for Earth Science and Applications from Space classified mass change as one of five designated observables having the highest priority in terms of Earth observations required to better understand the Earth system over the next decade. In response to this designation, NASA initiated multi-center studies with an overarching goal of defining observing system architectures for each designated observable. Here, we discuss the progress made and future plans for the Mass Change Designated Observable study. Progress includes the development of a Science and Applications Traceability Matrix (SATM), the definition of three different architectural classes that have potential to be responsive to the designated science objectives, and a framework to quantitatively link the performance of specific architectures to the SATM. We will describe a Value Framework that has been developed to assess the value of each architecture in terms of science return, cost, schedule, and technical maturity. Results assessing the value of 50+ architecture variants will be shown and discussed. Finally, the current status of the study process, and future plans will be discussed.

Progress includes the development of a Science and Applications Traceability Matrix, a tool that links science objectives to measurement techniques and accuracies, for the 15 science and applications objectives listed in the Decadal Survey, as well as the definition of as many as three different architectural classes for which to achieve those objectives. We will describe the Value Framework that is under way to assess and evaluate each observing system architectural option. Preliminary results assessing the science value versus cost/risk of observing system architectures will be presented. In addition, future plans for the Mass Change Designated Observable Study will be discussed.

In the chassis assembly shop, there are instances when the rear axle oil was not filled. During the period from January to December, there were ten such instances that were reported. Out of the 10 cases, 6 cases seized after handing over the vehicle to the customer and 4 cases were identified when the vehicles left the assembly process. The reason for the seizing of the trucks was predominantly due to the absence of the oil in the rear axle or in some cases, due to the discrepancy that occurred. This problem can be rectified by introducing the concept of interlocking, wherein the conveyor stops from proceeding to the next stage in case the rear axle oil is not filled. To prevent any further chances of error, a system was suggested where a code is scanned, which gives details of the bill of materials used to assemble the truck. This bill of material includes the axle model number which is cross referenced with a traceability matrix to determine the quantity of oil required and confirming the oil filling process with a sticker.
