This research describes how Advertising Response Modelling (ARM) provides a framework to measure advertising performance by integrating several multiple measures used in copy research. The author reports the study examining how social distancing policy advertising can effect of three variables: attitude toward ads, attitude toward brand, and social distancing intention. The aims of this research were to measure the influence of cognitive response and attitude toward social distancing intention in advertising and to analyze consumer’s information processing route of an ad. Survey design research was prepared in this study. The participants in this research are consumers who social distancing intention. There are 138 participants in this research. Those participants were exposed an advertisement of social distancing policy. Then, those participants filled out the self-administered and the structure questionaire. By using ARM and One way ANOVA analysis, this research shows that advertising has influenced positively thparticipants. However, there are not significantly diffrerent between men and women participants to response the advertising.

Abstract Many Americans avoid end-of-life care planning; only 26% have completed an advance directive (AD). An AD promotes end-of-life care with dignity allowing individuals to make end-of-life treatment and care decisions before they are unable to do so. Previous studies related to ADs are focused on older adults with serious illness or people with functional/mental disability. The objective of this survey is to better understand young adults' knowledge of and attitude toward ADs and their preferences for ADs related to treatment and care options. Methods. Participants include graduate students (n=25) attending a state university in New York State (NYS). Data were collected using two ADs (Five Wishes; Medical Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (MOLST)) and one survey questionnaire. Summary statistics and multivariate models will be used to address the study aims. Results. Preliminary results show the average age was 23 years, 72% were female, 48% White, and 44% Black. The majority of young adults hadn’t completed an AD; however, their attitude toward ADs was positive; the majority believe it is important to have an AD prepared at their current age; and they believe young adults would willing to fill out ADs. Young adults can make difficult treatment and care decisions when the situation requires it. Conclusion. The study findings can be useful to policy makers, healthcare providers and other stakeholders in promoting population-based healthcare decision-making. Limitation. Participants were recruited from one university in NYS; thus, the study results may be generalized to a population sharing similar characteristics.

Purpose This paper aims to investigate advertising effectiveness in Instagram and Facebook, the two most important social media platforms. It helps to understand which should be chosen depending on the target audience of the campaign. Design/methodology/approach The study examines advertising effectiveness in these social media in terms of ad attitude, ad intrusiveness and loyalty intentions. An online survey was conducted with 303 social media users. Age and gender are proposed as moderators. Findings The results indicate that Instagram Stories not only enhances consumer attitude toward ads but also increases perceived intrusiveness, compared to Facebook Wall. Millennials are more disturbed by Facebook Wall ads than non-millennial users. A triple interaction effect reveals that non-millennial men are more loyal toward Facebook Wall ads, whereas millennials of both genders and non-millennial women are more loyal to ads on Instagram Stories. Practical implications Advertisers should be aware of the differential features and segmentation possibilities in social media to better address their target audiences. More precisely, the research findings suggest that professionals should focus on Instagram Stories when targeting millennials and non-millennial women, and on Facebook Wall when targeting non-millennial men. Originality/value This study is one of the first to contribute to the literature on Instagram Stories as an advertising platform and compare its differential features with those of more established social media, such as Facebook Wall.
