Financial technology (Fintech), including a series of advanced technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence and block-chain, has been gradually applied to various industries after years of development and will become the major driver of the future financial industry. As one of the largest financial markets in the world, the traditional foreign exchange service industry is gradually entering the era of fintech, bringing new vitality to the foreign exchange market through advanced technology and improving the efficiency of foreign exchange management. However, while enjoying the opportunities brought by fintech to the foreign exchange field, practitioners in both fintech and the foreign exchange industry should also actively face the challenges and try to build a safe and efficient foreign exchange market environment.

The article is devoted to the issues of knowledge exchange management between university scientists and employees of small firms in entrepreneurial ecosystems. It is confirmed that in recent decades the role of the third component of the university's mission, which is associated with the exchange of knowledge, has increased, and this changes requirements for joint creation of a cognitive product with external stakeholders, including entrepreneurship. It has been shown that the challenges for university teachers in increasing knowledge exchange are related to strengthening the component of applied research and development related to specific business projects. As a part of the exchange of knowledge, university employees must not just transfer their work to entrepreneurship, but to achieve its assimilation by employees of companies. In the same way, university scientists are faced with the task of more meaningfully studying and processing knowledge on the subject of activities of companies. This approach to joint applied research and development is a challenge for teachers, who, in addition, within education must create a pedagogically developed content knowledge of the subjects, and within the scientific component of the university's mission – to perform basic research. It is shown that three types of knowledge that correspond to modern ideas about the mission of universities are related but different, which requires appropriate changes in their management. The problematic aspects of assimilation and dissemination of explicit and implicit or tacit knowledge within the joint groups of university scientists and employees of small firms are considered. It is substantiated that in the exchange of the results of cognition with the use of material carriers, what is transmitted loses the property of knowledge to be the justified belief, because it goes beyond the mental content of the author's mind. It is proved that on the way of knowledge exchange there are not only organizational and methodological barriers, but also cognitive-communicative gaps. It is established that the socialization and externalization of knowledge in management systems has a cognitive-communicative basis to fail the desired completeness. Cooperation of different activities and knowledge is potentially a means of non-standard and useful solutions in innovative entrepreneurship. But such cooperation and co-production of knowledge is a source for incompleteness of understanding the others, which counteracts the common achievements and requires the attention of managers.

Subject India's new policy on FDI and its impact on Chinese investment. Significance India last month introduced stricter rules for investment from bordering countries, saying it wanted to prevent “opportunistic” takeovers and acquisitions at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic is bringing down the share value of major Indian companies. The move, notified under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, was almost certainly made with China in mind. China is one of India’s fastest-growing sources of foreign direct investment (FDI). Impacts Chinese manufacturers will favour investment in certain South-east Asian countries rather than India in the short term. India may fast-track Chinese investment in infrastructure while putting those in fintech under greater scrutiny. Once the pandemic crisis dissipates, India will roll out ambitious plans to attract foreign factories relocating from China.

The slowdown in Russian economy caused a drop in demand for exhibition business services. Operating in the segment of trade fairs organizing companies faced a decrease in the intensity of economic exchanges due to the outflow of customers. The paper considers modification of the exchange management in order to intensify the latter. The research methodology bases the provisions of the theory of bilateral markets, theories of management, marketing and logistics, methods of analysis and synthesis, as well as on the experience of exhibition activities. As a result of the study: the expediency of application by linear companies-organizers of the business model “two-sided market” was justified; the interpretation of business model determined by two-component functional two-stage system was given when the platform (service) is prepared within the linear fragment and then the main fragment turns on — two-sided market, providing intensification of exchanges management by means of asymmetric pricing strategies and network effects. Recommendations are formulated for practitioners who are puzzled by the problem of economic exchanges intensification. The combination of these theoretically and practically significant results develops the theory of two-sided exhibition markets, as well as provides scientific support in the format of recommendations and descriptions of tools that help exhibition business practitioners cope with the problem of managing economic exchanges.
