This current work is devoted to develop qualitative theory of existence of solution to some families of fractional order differential equations (FODEs). For this purposes we utilize fixed point theory due to Banach and Schauder. Further using differential transform method (DTM), we also compute analytical or semi-analytical results to the proposed problems. Also by some proper examples we demonstrate the results.

Here, in this article, we investigate the solution of a general family of fractional-order differential equations by using the spectral Tau method in the sense of Liouville–Caputo type fractional derivatives with a linear functional argument. We use the Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind to develop a recurrence relation subjected to a certain initial condition. The behavior of the approximate series solutions are tabulated and plotted at different values of the fractional orders ν and α. The method provides an efficient convergent series solution form with easily computable coefficients. The obtained results show that the method is remarkably effective and convenient in finding solutions of fractional-order differential equations.

In this paper, we establish an averaging principle for neutral stochastic fractional differential equations with non-Lipschitz coefficients and with variable delays, driven by Lévy noise. Our result shows that the solutions of the equations concerned can be approximated by the solutions of averaged neutral stochastic fractional differential equations in the sense of convergence in mean square. As an application, we present an example with numerical simulations to explore the established averaging principle.

AbstractFractional calculus characterizes a function at those points, where classical calculus failed. In the current study, we explored the fractional behavior of the stagnation point flow of hybrid nano liquid consisting of TiO2 and Ag nanoparticles across a stretching sheet. Silver Ag and Titanium dioxide TiO2 nanocomposites are one of the most significant and fascinating nanocomposites perform an important role in nanobiotechnology, especially in nanomedicine and for cancer cell therapy since these metal nanoparticles are thought to improve photocatalytic operation. The fluid movement over a stretching layer is subjected to electric and magnetic fields. The problem has been formulated in the form of the system of PDEs, which are reduced to the system of fractional-order ODEs by implementing the fractional similarity framework. The obtained fractional order differential equations are further solved via fractional code FDE-12 based on Caputo derivative. It has been perceived that the drifting velocity generated by the electric field E significantly improves the velocity and heat transition rate of blood. The fractional model is more generalized and applicable than the classical one.

PurposeThis study describes the applicability of the a priori estimate method on a nonlocal nonlinear fractional differential equation for which the weak solution's existence and uniqueness are proved. The authors divide the proof into two sections for the linear associated problem; the authors derive the a priori bound and demonstrate the operator range density that is generated. The authors solve the nonlinear problem by introducing an iterative process depending on the preceding results.Design/methodology/approachThe functional analysis method is the a priori estimate method or energy inequality method.FindingsThe results show the efficiency of a priori estimate method in the case of time-fractional order differential equations with nonlocal conditions. Our results also illustrate the existence and uniqueness of the continuous dependence of solutions on fractional order differential equations with nonlocal conditions.Research limitations/implicationsThe authors’ work can be considered a contribution to the development of the functional analysis method that is used to prove well-positioned problems with fractional order.Originality/valueThe authors confirm that this work is original and has not been published elsewhere, nor is it currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
