Loneliness as a psychological state is affective and cognitive discomfort or uneasiness from being or perceiving oneself to be alone or otherwise solitary. Since the beginning of the pandemic, people stayed at home, afraid of contracting COVID-19. As youths followed lectures via the internet for long hours without physical participation, they became more and more withdrawn and socially isolated. This study explores psychodrama as an intervention to reduce loneliness in university students. COVID-19 pandemic durations seemed to be caused loneliness for all people. The short-version of the ULCA loneliness scale was applied to 358 university students. 24 students were selected for the study based on their higher scores on the assessment. These students also accepted that COVID-19 negatively affected their loneliness state. The average age of participants was 21 years old, and no one was younger than 19 years old. Randomly they were divided into two groups as experimental and controlling with equal representation of number. The experimental group joined 15 weeks of psychodrama groups for 90 minutes each week. All sessions were held with via internet video platform meeting program. In psychodrama method of psychotherapy, clients enacted their concerns to achieve new insight about themselves and others. The psychodrama program started with introducing group participants and expression of why they are in the group to each other. The group was guided with an experienced group leader. With the techniques of psychodrama such as warmup, mirror, doubling, and role reversal, participants self-disclosed their current moods. K-square statistical analyses suggested that the group of university students who joined psychodrama overcame their loneliness. Education policy makers should bear in mind that today’s Covid-19 society suffers from psychological treatment deficits in the area of loneliness. Group action methods should be taken immediately. Group guidance, counseling, and drama in education and psychodrama can be useful for students to cope with problems resulting from of COVID-19. Youths truly need to share their suffering with professionals. Preventive guidance activities should be given importance in schools.

Background The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research and the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have been leaders in advancing science to protect and promote public health by ensuring that safe and effective drugs and biological products are available to those who need them. Recently, new therapeutic discoveries, increased understanding of disease mechanisms, the need for innovation to optimally use resources, and global public health crises have led to an evolving drug development landscape. As a result, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and medical product developers are faced with unique challenges and opportunities. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is proactively meeting the challenges of this evolving landscape through various efforts, including the Complex Innovative Trial Design Pilot Meeting Program. Our focus, here, will be on the pilot meeting program. Methods The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has defined a process to facilitate the implementation of the Complex Innovative Trial Design Pilot Meeting Program. The process is transparent and outlines the steps and timeline for submission, review, and meetings. Results Five submitted meeting requests have been selected for participation in the Complex Innovative Trial Design Pilot Meeting Program. Conclusion The pilot meeting program has been successful in further educating stakeholders on the potential uses of complex innovative designs in trials intended to provide substantial evidence of effectiveness. The selected submissions, thus far, have all utilized a Bayesian framework. The reasons for the use of Bayesian approaches may be due to the flexibility provided, the ability to incorporate multiple sources of evidence, and a desire to better understand the U.S. Food and Drug Administration perspective on such approaches. We are confident the pilot meeting program will have continued success and impact the collective goal of bringing safe and effective medical products to patients.

Clinical judgment is defined as an understanding and interpretation regarding patient’s needs, health problems or concerns (Tanner, 2006). There are four interrelated processes in Tanner’s model that consist of noticing, interpreting, responding, and reflecting (Tanner, 2006). Because clinical judgment is extremely complex and encompasses many ways of thinking and types of knowledge, it requires a flexible capability to identify significant features of indeterminate clinical circumstances. Mixed methods study was conducted to describe senior nursing students’ experience in using high-fidelity simulation to evaluate the development of clinical judgment skills. A convenience sampling of 30 senior nursing students who signed the consent, met the inclusion criteria, and attend the selected school of nursing in the fall of 2020 were used for this study. All participants answered questionnaires regarding the quantitative survey. Participants interviewed face-to-face and video call using Zoom meeting program and recorded using an audio recorder. Both the quantitative and qualitative findings identified that learning through high-fidelity simulation supports the improvement in the participants’ clinical judgment skills. All participants reported their perceptions and experiences from using high-fidelity simulation develop and support their clinical judgment skills from the beginning through the end of the simulation, especially improving prioritizing data and working as a team with providing effective communication.

As evidence of meeting program criteria required by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), engineering technology (ET) students are expected to both read and create graphical communications. Academic librarians’ visual literacy (VL) instruction can support ET students’ ability to communicate through graphics. Under comprehensive VL instruction, teaching visual design principles is an area of VL that supports graphical communication. An adaptive comparative judgment (ACJ) assessment was given to 115 ET students to inform visual design instruction and future research. A visual design framework supplemented the assessment to familiarize students with visual design principles. ACJ offers an alternative assessment model because instead of grading against a rubric of learning outcomes, it uses context to judge the quality of a work. The assessment results outline specific areas to focus visual design instruction for students to effectively navigate and create graphical communications.

Tirtomulyo Village is located enroute the Parangtritis Beach, which is one of the main tourist destinations in the Bantul Region of Yogyakarta. This village has the potential to develop into an agro-tourism area based on the natural resources and community participation. Presently, community-based agro-tourism is being developed in this area through the Gadjah Mada University Assisted Village program. Therefore, this programme aims to 1) Identify the potential of natural resources and village landscapes; 2) Increase community participation in developing villages; and 3) Empower natural resources and village communities for agro-tourism development. Data were obtained from community participation-based agro-tourism planning using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) method and the Training on Trainer system from June to October 2020. Furthermore, during the Covid 19 pandemic, tourism education was carried out using an online method such as Google meet and whatsapp group platforms. The implementation of the direct meeting program (offline) was limited due to health protocol. Potential identification carried out by the community in 15 hamlets of Tirtomulyo Village shows the potential for natural resource attractions based on local wisdom consisting of natural resources, yards (pekarangan), cultural table 1dance, handicrafts, culinary, and fisheries. The result showed that online and offline discussions and the making of BMC posters are some of the efforts used in building villages for agro-tourism development. Furthermore, various natural resources as the potential of agro-tourism attractions have started to be empowered, including plant nurseries in the yard (pekarangan), peanut brittle, gula semut, and banana weevil chips well as a homestay. Therefore, the coordination of the inter-hamlet agro-tourism program at the village level still needs to be improved.
