E-Service Quality and Corporate Image on Customer Perception

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi mengakibatkan persaingan di bidang bisnis tidak dapat dihindari, sehingga perusahaan perlu mengetahui langkah-langkah yang tepat agar tetap bertahan dan mampu bersaing dengan perusahaan lain yang sejenis. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan adalah dengan menerapkan teknologi pada proses bisnisnya. Teknologi sudah menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat. Penerapan teknologi diharapkan dapat mempermudah, mempercepat proses transaksi, menghemat biaya, waktu, tenaga dan dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas. Turban et all (2012), membagi keuntungan penerapan elektronik atau teknologi dalam proses bisnis menjadi dua, bagi perusahaan dan pelanggan. Manfaat bagi perusahaan adalah memperluas jangkauan pasar menjadi pasar nasional dan internasional, mengurangi biaya pemrosesan, distribusi dan penarikan informasi yang akurat dan real-time. Sedangkan keuntungan bagi pelanggan seperti akses 24 jam ke sejumlah besar barang dan jasa. Liputan6.com (2018), mencatat perkembangan e-commerce sebesar 26,2 juta dan Alibaba merupakan perusahaan e-commerce terbesar untuk saat ini. Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat telah terjadi peningkatan jumlah perusahaan yang menerapkan eCommerce di Indonesia dalam 10 tahun terakhir tumbuh menjadi sekitar 17. Dengan demikian, Indonesia Pasar e-Commerce berpeluang untuk tumbuh lebih besar lagi dengan jumlah penduduk terbesar dan tingkat produk domestik bruto (PDB) terbesar di ASEAN. Perusahaan ini bergerak di bidang penjualan produk alat keamanan seperti CCTV, fire alarm, public address system, conference system, intrusion alarm dan access control system sejak tahun 2000. Sutojo (2011), adapun manfaat dari citra perusahaan yang baik dan kuat yang memiliki daya saing jangka menengah dan panjang; menjadi tameng selama masa krisis, menarik eksekutif yang andal, di mana eksekutif yang andal adalah aset perusahaan; meningkatkan efektivitas strategi pemasaran, menghemat biaya operasional. Oleh karena itu, akan lebih baik bagi perusahaan untuk mengetahui apa persepsi pelanggan tentang teknologi tersebut terutama dalam hal peningkatan kualitas layanan berbasis elektronik dan citra perusahaan.

Infrastructure of life: public address, listening and crowds in the Delhi metro and Kumbh

Through an ethnographic study of the Delhi metro and Kumbh fair, this article explores the public address system as an infrastructure of life in urban India. Amplified sound is the singular means to address crowds during emergencies which makes it significant for understanding mass mediation and public safety. Since millions of people travel in the Delhi metro every day, and the Kumbh fair is the largest human gathering in the world, human density and scale as a predominant Southern reality is the premise of this research. It offers an intersubjective understanding of crowds through empathy and care, and reveals the life-saving potentiality of infrastructures when the masses are at risk.

Aplikasi Pelayanan Public Address System Badan Usaha Bandar Udara Hang Nadim Batam Berbasis Web

Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sebuah sistem atau aplikasi untuk mempermudah pihak pengelola Bandara yaitu BUBU BP Batam, dalam memonitoring pengguna PAS yang ada di areal Bandara Hang Nadim Batam, dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan permohonan PAS bagi masyarakat ataupun pekerja dalam pengajuan kepemilikan PAS Bandara. Dengan konsep metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model waterfall oleh Rosa. A, dan Shalahuddin, (2018) yang memiliki empat tahapan yaitu Analisa kebutuhan perangkat lunak, desain, kode, dan pengujian sistem karena bagi penulis konsep tersebut lebih mudah dipahami untuk pengembangan sistem. Dan penggunaan sebelas diagram UML (Unified Modeling Language) yang terdiri dari Use case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Class Diagram, Object Diagram, Deployment Diagram,Communication Diagram, State Machine/State Chart Diagram, Package diagram, Component Diagram, Interaction Overview Diagram dapat membantu penulis mendeskripsikan setiap proses interaksi data pada Aplikasi PAS. Aplikasi ini sangat bermanfaat bagi admin screening dan admin Avsec dalam pengelolaan data pemohon PAS, dengan tampilan framework Boostrap cukup membantu pengguna sistem dalam penggunaannya. Dan peningkatan sistem pengingat dan keamanan dalam pengembangan sistem dapat dijadikan referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya, dengan kombinasi mobile app agar sistem lebih fleksibel.

Layton’s letter was published shortly after the New Democratic Party’s (NDP) Federal electoral surge to Official Opposition status, a first for the far-Left party in Canadian history, and would serve as an New Democratic ideological keystone. Chow’s rhetoric invoked Layton’s words and the historical circumstances of their authorship. This project explores the relationship between public address and political epistolary traditions, and the narrative bond they create between author and speaker, and reader and audience. Most specifically it considers how an intertextuality between Chow and Layton’s documents contribute to political ethos and the greater progressive ideological narrative to which they both belong. Theorists discussed in substantial measure include Allen (2000), Corcoran (1994), Hall (2009), Neville-Shepard (2014), Parrish (1954), Rabinowitz (1987), and Weaver (1982).

A Study on Preemptive Response to Equipment Problems in Public Address System

In this study, in preparation for equipment failure of emergency broadcasting equipment, we intend to propose a method to respond in advance to situations where abnormalities are visible.In the case of a short circuit in the speaker line in the emergency broadcasting system, high current from the power amplifier enters the line again and damages the power amplifier, making audio output impossible. As a method to prevent this, a method of separating the speaker line from other lines is mainly used in order not to affect other speaker lines when a short circuit occurs.In this study, a method for establishing a safety system with a higher level than the standard recommended by the government in emergency broadcasting system was studied and suggested. The method is to respond in advance by monitoring and analyzing the prognostic symptoms that appear before the actual failure occurs.For example, if a problem occurs in the system, the problem is solved by replacing the part or removing the time factor of the problem. However, before a failure occurs, there are cases in which the occurrence and cancellation of failure symptoms for a short period of time occur periodically or aperiodically. In this case, the possibility of actual failure is determined in advance by analyzing it as a precursor to the actual failure.In the event of a situation that appears to be a pre-specified potential failure, we propose techniques to diagnose it early and tell the manager how to take action.
