Introduction. It has been repeatedly proven that the use of radiant heating systems leads to an increase in the environmental safety of industrial premises by increasing their energy efficiency. The most promising solution is the use of gas infrared emitters, in which there is no intermediate coolant, and the heat of combustion of the gas enters the room. However, such a solution has a number of limitations on gas availability, comfort and fire hazard. Also, a highly efficient solution is the use of water infrared emitters, which can be represented by emitting panels or emitting profiles that use an intermediate coolant, but do not have many limitations inherent in gas systems. Materials and methods. This study was conducted in the Laboratory of radiant Heating of NNGASU and is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the formation of the temperature regime in rooms heated by water infrared radiators, as well as the thermal regime of external enclosing structures in these rooms. Results. Based on the results of the experiments, the authors concluded about the formed thermal regime in rooms with heating systems based on water infrared emitters. It is proved that the use of radiant heating leads to a more uniform temperature regime in a heated room, and less overheating of the room covering than when using convective heating systems. Conclusions. The energy efficiency of the use of radiant heating systems based on water infrared emitters has been proven. The study showed that the system of water radiant heating allows to reduce the gradient of air temperature in height not only in large-volume rooms, such as workshops, depots, gyms, but also in rooms with a low height of the coating location. This feature allows you to reduce heat losses through the coating. The temperature regime in the working area of the room with the use of radiant water heating, in comparison with convective, remains unchanged.

Abstract The paper presents the results of experimental studies on the formation of thermal comfort conditions in large premises with the joint operation of gas infrared emitters and air exchange ventilation system. The values of temperatures and heat fluxes on the clothing surface under natural and mixed convection conditions were obtained. It has been established that the air exchange system operation in the premises reduces the temperature drop of the person clothes surface, respectively, a more favorable temperature condition is achieved in the working area.

Developing improved organic infrared emitters has wide-ranging applicability in fields such as bioimaging or energy harvesting. We synthesize redshifted analogues of C8S3, a well-known cyanine dye that self assembles into tubular aggregates which have attracted widespread attention as artificial photosynthetic complexes. Despite the elongated dye structure, the new pentamethine dyes retain their tubular self-assembly and emit at near-infrared wavelengths. Cryo-electron microscopy and detailed photophysical characterization of the new aggregates reveal similar absorption lineshapes with ~100 nm of redshift, as well as supramolecular morphologies that resemble their trimethine counterparts; the pentamethine aggregates generally show more disorder and decreased superradiance, suggesting that more ordered structures yield more robust photophysical properties. These results provide design principles of superradiant organic emitters, expand the chemical space of near-infrared aggregates, and introduce two additional wavelength-specific antennae as model systems for study.

Three near-infrared emitters (2TPA-QBT, 2MeTPA-BT and TPA-QBT-MeTPA) were rationally designed and synthesized. Density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) calculations showed that the introduction of mono- or di-methyl groups between the donors and acceptor could result in the spatial configuration changing greatly for 2MeTPA-QBT and TPA-QBT-MeTPA compared to their parent compound 2TPA-QBT. The emission of TPA-QBT-MeTPA had a more obvious hybridized local and charge transfer feature (HLCT) based on the influence of the steric hindrance of the methyl substituent. Attributed to their different spatial configurations and luminescence mechanisms, different emission wavelengths with photoluminescent quantum yields of 26%, 38% and 34% in toluene, as well as 24%, 27% and 31% in 4,4′-bis(N-carbazolyl)-1,1′-biphenyl (CBP) doped film, were observed for 2TPA-QBT, 2MeTPA-QBT and TPA-QBT-MeTPA, respectively. The constructed organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) displayed electroluminescence with emission peaks at 728, 693 and 710 nm, with maximum external quantum efficiencies of 1.58%, 1.33% and 3.02% for the 2TPA-QBT, 2MeTPA-QBT and TPA-QBT-MeTPA-doped OLEDs, respectively. This work illustrated the effect of spatial configuration changes on the luminescence properties of donor-acceptor-type organic emitters.

The article provides a comparative calculation of gas heat generators and infrared emitters for a poultry farm located in the city of Yoshkar Ola.
