In this paper, a dynamic operational linear regulator (DOLR) based on a GaN high-electron-mobility transistor (HEMT) and wide-bandwidth operational amplifier was developed and implemented. The driving current could be regulated and controlled by the DOLR for 632 nm laser diodes. The constant-current mode for the continuous-wave laser and the pulse-width modulation (PWM) mode for the short-pulsed laser were realizable using this DOLR. This study focused on the rising-edge time change on the laser driving current when the DOLR was operated under the high-frequency PWM mode, because the parasitic components on the GaN HEMT, laser diodes, printed circuit board, and power wires could influence the current’s dynamic behavior. Therefore, the equivalent circuit models of the laser diode and GaN HEMT were applied to establish a DOLR simulation circuit in order to observe the rising-edge time change on the laser driving current. A DOLR prototype was achieved, and so experimental waveform measurements could be implemented to verify the DOLR simulation and operation.

Abstract The accuracy of DC measurement system directly affects the reliable operation of DC control and protection system. In order to improve the estimation and prediction of DC measurement system op-eration state, a trend prediction algorithm based on multi-dimensional analysis and long-term memory network is proposed. Based on the analysis of DC measurement principle, the DC measurement status is diagnosed and abnormal is identified by time series trend analysis and anomaly detection. The LSTM is used to construct a multi factor driving current prediction model, and the model is trained and an-alyzed based on the actual operation data. Compared with the traditional time series prediction model, the results indicate that the proposed method is more accurate, simple and effective, and can be applied to the prediction of driving current.

In this study, a multi-function microelectromechanical system (MEMS) was integrated with a MEMS oscillator, using the resonant frequency oscillation characteristics of the oscillator to provide the Lorentz current of the magnetometer to enhance a large dynamic range of reading, which eliminates the off-chip clock and current generator. The resonant frequency can be adjusted by adjusting the bias voltage of the oscillator to further adjust the sensitivity of the magnetometer. With the mechanical Q value characteristic, a great dynamic range can be achieved. In addition, using the readout circuit of the nested chopper and correlated double-sampling (CDS) to reduce the noise and achieve a smaller resolution, the calibration circuit compensates for errors caused by the manufacturing process. The frequency of the tuning range of the proposed structure is 17,720–19,924 Hz, and the tuning range of the measurement result is 110,620.36 ppm. The sensitivities of the x-, y-, and z-axes of the magnetometer with driving current of 2 mA are 218.3, 74.33, and 7.5 μV/μT for ambient pressure of 760 torr. The resolutions of the x-, y-, and z-axes of the magnetometer with driving current of 2 mA are 3.302, 9.69, and 96 nT/√Hz for ambient pressure of 760 torr.

Abstract Using the characteristic of flip light emitting diode (LED) chips without front-side welding wires, before applying fluorescent glue throughout the luminous surface, a part of the chips are directionally and quantitatively coated fluorescent glue by screen printing process, a chip on board (COB) white LED light source is developed with adjustable correlated color temperature (CCT). A part of the blue LED chips in the light source excites the fluorescent glue to produce a warm white light (CCT = 2631K), and the other part produces cool white light (CCT = 6181K). When changing the driving current ratio of the two parts of the chips, the CCT of COB LED light source can be continuously adjusted between warm and cool white light. According to the measured data, the relationship between the CCT and the driving current ratio of the two parts is obtained by fitting. Within the adjustable range of the CCT (2631 K to 6181 K), the color rendering index (CRI) is about 90. The minimum is 89.3 and the maximum is 93.1. While achieving adjustable CCT and high CRI, the LED light source has a luminous flux of 1938.76 lm on a circular surface with a diameter of 11 mm. The overall luminous efficiency is close to 100 lm/W.
