Understanding what are the IT sector’s business opportunities under distorted market conditions is a growing interest in sustainability research. This article investigates how to assess the IT sectors sustainability through a multicriterion assessment. For the assessment of the IT sector’s European and Slovenian competition policy, the DEMATEL technique was chosen. Fifteen economical performance indicators of IT sectors companies in 2015–2019 were selected for analysis. Given the multiplicity of criteria addressed in the sustainability issues, a multi-criteria analysis was used with the assistance of experts. In this research, the DEMATEL technique was developed for problem solving, for the assessment of the concentration of business entities that affect the competitive situation of economy. Results showed that comparison of the DEMATEL method with fuzzy and probability theories proved that it is possible to measure IT sector’s HHI-based performance.

Abstract Increasing the mining depth at Praid Saline and implicitly the state of stresses and strains determines an increase in the dimensions of resistance structures (pillars and ceilings). Furthermore, the seismic effect generated by the detonation of explosives contributes to the degradation of resistance structures. In order to reduce the destructive effect of drilling-blasting technology a proposal is made for the implementation of mechanized salt cutting technology which makes use of a roadheader. This article emphasizes the technical-economical implementation advantages of exploitation from the lower horizons of the New Sector, those of mechanized mining with a roadheader as opposed to the classical technology of drilling-blasting.

The paper studies a method for producing nanostructured composite powders of the metal – non-metal system. Powders preparation by universal disintegrator-activator technology, processing in planetary ball mills and bowl grinders is shown on the Al–Zn–Sn composition and titanium nitride nanoparticles. Judging by engineering-and-economical performance, the most promising method for obtaining nanostructured composite powders is the method of processing in a bowl grinder.

In this paper concept description of the operating short wall within the bounds of the justified risk approach is described. Analysis of the results of working process modeling are carried out. Engineering-and-economical performance of longwall panels at various values of probability of entry roof fall is studied.
