This chapter proposes a three-ecosystems framework in the context of transnational digital entrepreneurship (TDE). It argues that the embeddedness and engagement within digital, host, and home-country entrepreneurial ecosystems holistically affect TDE process, adoption of strategic activities, and entrepreneurs. The research indicates that there is an increasing faith amongst researchers and policymakers in the vital position of TDE for socioeconomic development in transnational entrepreneurs' host and home countries, which has manifested as a result of the contribution to innovation, job creation, and income generation. This chapter aims to contribute to the rapidly growing literature on transnational entrepreneurship (TE) and digital entrepreneurship (DE) by theoretically exploring the key-impacting components in the process of TDE. The chapter offers an integrated theoretical framework/model supported by three ecosystems and a set of testable propositions for future empirical TDE research. This research will theoretically contribute to TE and DE literature.

Abstract Annually, hundreds of African infants are abandoned in South Africa and become adoptable because rigorous efforts to trace their parents and family members are unsuccessful. Although domestic adoption is prioritised in terms of legislation, policy and practice, most abandoned children’s right to be permanently raised in a loving family is not being realised. The most promising source of potential adopters is black South Africans, but the number of black adopters is ever declining. To investigate factors affecting black South African’s decision-making regarding the legal adoption of abandoned children, a post-graduate study was undertaken. Thirty-nine black adults participated in the study consisting of adopters, adoption applicants in the screening process, potential adopters that did not enter the screening process, adoption of social workers and citizens. The theory emerging derived from concurrent data gathering and analysis as set out by Corbin and Strauss is: ‘Tensions surrounding adoption policy and practice, and perceptions and experiences of adoption’. This article focuses on a main category of this grounded theory; that African ancestral beliefs and modern Christian beliefs can both reinforce and discourage adoption abandoned children.

AbstractThe spin forming parameters of bimetallic composite pipe were optimized by FEM and experiment, and the torque and the residual contact pressure were analyzed during forming process. Adoption of The orthogonal test of four factors and five levels to gain the optimal spinning parameters (δ = 0.16mm, Ψ = 0.4mm, β = 3.0∘, f = 0.5) and the effects of factors on analysis indicators under the condition of maximum residual contact pressure and small torque. The simulation results showed that the residual contact pressure was nearly 1MPa higher and the torque was lower about 160N·m than unoptimized results. It proved that the orthogonal test method was effective for the optimization of spinning parameters of bimetal composite tube. The accuracy of numerical simulation value was verified by the drawing experiment of the composite tube.

Abstract Digital PCR (dPCR) has developed considerably since the publication of the Minimum Information for Publication of Digital PCR Experiments (dMIQE) guidelines in 2013, with advances in instrumentation, software, applications, and our understanding of its technological potential. Yet these developments also have associated challenges; data analysis steps, including threshold setting, can be difficult and preanalytical steps required to purify, concentrate, and modify nucleic acids can lead to measurement error. To assist independent corroboration of conclusions, comprehensive disclosure of all relevant experimental details is required. To support the community and reflect the growing use of dPCR, we present an update to dMIQE, dMIQE2020, including a simplified dMIQE table format to assist researchers in providing key experimental information and understanding of the associated experimental process. Adoption of dMIQE2020 by the scientific community will assist in standardizing experimental protocols, maximize efficient utilization of resources, and further enhance the impact of this powerful technology.

The aim of this research is to describe the process of loan element in adopting the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, the forms of loan element in the adoption process of the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, the meaning of the loan element in the adoption process of Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This research is qualitative descriptive which describes the quotation or expression in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The data used in this research is primary data which is adopted through the process of adoption and adaptation in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta bby Habiburrahman El Shirazy. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that there are 210 expressions of loan element which is derived from English and Arabic language through the process adoption and adaptation. From the process of adoption, there are 57 quotations which derives from 25 quotations of English and 32 quotations of Arabic language. Meanwhile the total of process adaptation is 153 quotations in which 116 quotations is from English and 37 from Arabic language. Those 57 quotations of adoption has denotative meaniang in which 25 of the quotations is from English and 32 quotations is from Arabic language. Moreover, it is found that the denotative meaning from adaptation proses is 153 quotations in which 116 quotations is from English and 32 quotations is from Arabic language.
