Motor performs very vital role in different industries. In this paper, we are talking about a system which provides different protections to the motor and also helps in controlling and monitoring various parameters of motor through IOT. We have used Node MCU 8266 Wi-Fi enabled IOT module and with the help of some transducers we can achieve our goal easily to provide protection and to control the motor as well as to monitor various parameters.

Frequent burning of three-phase induction motors windings has been reported. The initial symptoms observed before the burning of the windings were an increase in operating current and a temperature rise. The induction motor protection and control system was designed, developed, and constructed to reduce the problem of burnt winding by early detection and disconnection of supply if the problem persists. It was found to be efficient, reliable, durable, and rugged. The system is a boost to Nigerian industrialists as it will reduce cases of burning of induction motors and the consequent downtime and cost. The system is cheap and easy to repair and maintain because the parts and components used in the design are available locally.

Food is the major source for the existence of the mankind. In order to meet the food requirements for the ever increasing population, the quantity of the food production has to be increased maintaining the quality standards. Agriculture is one such major sector which provides the food for mankind. It not only provides food but also supplies raw materials for industries. Implementation of advanced technologies such as Internet of Things in agriculture helps in improving the production with limited resources. The key parameter for the sustainable agriculture is moisture content available for the crop from the soil. This can be supplied efficiently by controlling the irrigation process. In this system an intelligent agriculture monitoring system with multiple wireless monitoring sensor nodes are used at different locations to monitor the parameters such as temperature, moisture content in the soil, humidity and rainfall. The data from the various sensors is aggregated at each node and transmitted to the coordinator station using long range transceiver. The data received at the coordinator station is subjected to a rule based decision making process to efficiently control the irrigation process. Also motor protection against the dry run was implemented, which not only protects the motor from break down but also avoids the unwanted power consumption. All the live data is in turn uploaded to the cloud so that the user can have a track of the current status of his farm at any time.

The impassable use of technologies contributes to on condition that the accurate amount of water needed by plants. Agricultural country like India, where more than 70% of rural population depends on farming and contributes around 18% to the GDP. Despite of having modern facilities, farmers are still using traditional methods for irrigation. The main reason is the lack of knowledge and the cost of resources are too high which cannot bear by the farmers. It is mostly seen that the farmer uses ground water for irrigation. The management of ground water for irrigation is essential, while contributing to environmental sustainability. Here the word management is to irrigate more and more using the least water. IoT technologies can be a better option to achieve this goal. IoT technology is used in management of ground water for irrigation in the agriculture. But the commonality of the same thing has been found in all systems i.e., the farmer has to buy lots of equipments to apply the smart irrigation. This paper implements a gadget that provide information of the crop situation like degree the resistance or conductivity across the soil matrix among two contacts are basically junk, soil disease sensor regulates while the seeds will germinate, and how rapid your flowers will develop in step with those data, microcontroller take the motion in form of induction motor gets ON/OFF, when it's far required. This paper is also aim to shield 3 phase induction motor from inrush currents on the spreading device like fluctuations and single phasing.
