PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN SISWA SMA NEGERI 2 BOYOLALI MENGENAI SANKSI HUKUM BAGI PELAKU BALAP MOTOR LIAR

The world of motorbike racing should be done professionally, but then it has developed into wild motor racing. Illegal motorbike racing is an event that is held without a permit which is often carried out in public places and this illegal motorbike racing activity is not carried out at all on official racing tracks, but on the highway. This illegal racing is a place to look for prestige among teenagers, as well as a place for gambling where every race is carried out there is always a bet money from hundreds of thousands to millions of rupiah, even causing casualties. Illegal motor racing actors can be subject to sanctions stipulated in Law No. 22/2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and the Criminal Code, so that considering the importance of understanding legal sanctions for illegal motorbike racers, dedication is necessary. to the community in the form of Student Understanding of SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. This service was carried out by way of lectures and direct questions and answers and evaluation by distributing questionnaires before and after the activity was carried out. The results of the dedication with the theme of understanding the law of the Boyolali 2 Public High School Students regarding sanctions for illegal motorbike racers showed an increase of 5.4%. Balap motor liar merupakan suatu ajang yang diselenggarakan tanpa izin yang kerap kali dilakukan di tempat umum dan kegiatan balap motor liar ini sama sekali tidak dilakukan di lintasan balap resmi, melainkan di jalan raya. Balap liar ini menjadi ajang mencari gengsi antara remaja, juga sebagai wadah perjudian di mana setiap dilakukan balapan selalu ada uang taruhan dari ratusan ribu hingga jutaan rupiah, bahkan menimbulkan korban jiwa. Pelaku balap motor liar dapat dikenai sanksi yang diatur dalam Undang-undang RI Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan dan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana, sehingga kiranya mengingat pentingnya pemahaman mengenai sanksi hukum bagi pelaku balap motor liar, maka perlu dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk Pemahaman Siswa SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan cara ceramah dan Tanya jawab secara langsung dan evaluasi dengan penyebaran kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dilaksanakan. Hasil pengabdian dengan tema pemahaman hukum Siswa SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali mengenai sanksi bagi pelaku balap motor liar, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan 5,4%.Kata Kunci: peningkatan, pemahaman, sanksi hukum, siswa, balap motor liar

Learning Effectiveness and Level of Motivation Following Educational Technology Learning During Pandemic to State High School Students in Banyuwangi Regency

This research generally aims to determine the effectiveness of learning and motivation to participate in high school student learning during the pandemic in physical education subjects. The research was conducted on public high school students in Banyuwangi Regency. In this case, the sample is 1,061 students, divided into 529 students in independent regional schools and 532 students in developed regional schools. This research is a quantitative descriptive study by obtaining data from questionnaires distributed to students. Students who fill out a random questionnaire in two schools that have been selected in the independent region and two schools selected in the developed region. Based on this research data, the learning effectiveness of public high school students in independent areas in Banyuwangi Regency is in the "good" category with an average value of 2.58. Meanwhile, in developed areas, the learning effectiveness of State Senior High School students in Banyuwangi Regency is in the "medium" category with an average value of 2.50. Data on motivation to participate in the learning of state high school students in independent areas in Banyuwangi Regency is in the "high" category with a percentage of 53.31% of the sample. Meanwhile, in the advanced regions, the motivation for participating in the learning of State Senior High School students in Banyuwangi Regency is also included in the "high" category with a percentage of 59.21% of the sample.

The effect of civic education learning on legal awareness in public high school students

Increasing legal awareness must start from education. A good education will produce humans who are responsible, tolerant and care for the environment. Legal awareness among students is essential. Students are the nation's next-generation. High legal awareness among lessons can provide comfort and discipline, especially in schools and, in general, in the community. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of civic education learning on legal awareness of class X students at SMAN 1 Ciranjang, Cianjur regency. The method used is a quantitative method with 60 students and sampling using purposive sampling with a sample size of 60 students. Retrieval of data utilizing observation and questionnaires distributed to the research sample. The descriptive analysis results show that the class X student civic education learning at SMAN 1 Ciranjang is in the high category with an average score of 80.60 of the ideal score of 100. The legal awareness of class X students at SMAN 1 Ciranjang is in the high sort with an average score of 80, 57 out of the ideal score of 100. The inferential analysis results show a significant influence between civic education learning on legal awareness in class X students at SMAN 1 Ciranjang. The results showed that high school students' common understanding was implemented on the students' values regarding the level of obedience to the existing laws (school rules). Students carry out legal awareness among students towards their high understanding of the law for students that can result in obeying the rules that apply in school. On the other hand, low awareness among students will violate the regulations that apply in schools.

The Education Process Viewed from the Standard-Based Education Paradigm in Public Schools: A Case From Central Java, Indonesia

This study aims to analyse Indonesia's education process using a standard-based education paradigm in the process aspect. The study focused on public high school students on four educational standards released by the Central Java Provincial Education Quality Assurance Agency. Methodology: Case studies were selected based on data from national education standards. Data analysis processed using ATLAS.ti version 8. The research findings: the results showed the absence of regulations regarding improving teacher qualifications had worsened the standard achievement. Excessive implementation of educational concepts and ignorance of collaborative assessment of spiritual aspects obscures religious tolerance as a hallmark of Indonesian education.

English Proficiency and Sequencing Skills in Narrative Writing of Public High School Students

This descriptive-comparative research explored the level of grammar proficiency and sequencing skills in narrative writing of the Grade 7 students. Specifically, it sought to determine the significant difference in the level of grammar proficiency and sequencing skills. The 308 Grade 7 students selected through stratified proportional sampling answered the researcher-made instrument. The findings revealed that the students have a low level of grammar proficiency and average level in sequencing skills as a whole. Moreover, a significant difference exists in the level of grammar proficiency and the level of sequencing skills of students when grouped according to academic performance in English and track, while no significant difference exists when the students are classified according to sex. The results imply that students can sequence events in a narrative. However, they find difficulty in writing grammatically correct sentences. With this, instructional materials may be designed to develop the students’ proficiency in writing.
