AbstractThe edge clouds in mobile edge computing networks are isolate which may belong to different companies or organizations, and hence the communication, computation, and storage resources are not efficiently utilized. To solve this problem, we propose the resource-sharing model of edge clouds which is based on blockchain technology and auction game. In this model, the blockchain platform is regarded as the bridge of the resource sharing, composed of edge clouds, clouds, third-party spectrum and computation management, identity authentication institutions, etc. It is used to record the users’ transaction information and broadcast the intelligent terminals’ resource requirements to all edge clouds in the blockchain platform through smart contracts. Then, an optimization problem of the joint allocation of communication and computation resources is formulated to maximize the utility of intelligent terminals. And an efficient improved sealed second-price auction game is proposed to allocate communication and computation resources and determine the optimal price of resources under the intelligent terminals’ QoS constraints. Simulation results show that the model can effectively improve the system resources utilization and the successful transaction rate.

When writing about the history of the internet, it is important to note that aerospace was among the significant pioneers in computer networking computer network for private was used in first airline reservation system “SABRE” in 1960 for American airlines. While sage was the first computer system in the world, its deficiencies led to the development of ARPANET. These systems formed the foundations for the internet and the development of other computer programs in aerospace, any deficiency led to the invention of a new program, giving birth to programming, CAD, and CAM that brought about simulations. Aerospace computing has evolved over the years and is now carrying the whole weight of the aerospace industry. Before the launch of any space vehicle or satellite, simulation has become a necessary step, checking for weaknesses for corrections to be done on the ground. Besides, computer simulation has been essential in training, facilitating the training of pilots worldwide. This article presents more information regarding the application of AI in aerospace computing, flight simulations, and their advantages in the aerospace industry.

This chapter interrogates the executive dashboard as a contemporary example of the deployment of computation in management. Conceptualizing the dashboard as an interface, it explores how it reconfigures human–machine relations and their respective intelligences. The dashboard separates the executive manager and the computational system, as much as it augments both in their capacities for decision and control. Human decision making emerges as a residuality and an exception to computational processes, while decision making is also distributed within and delegated to the technical system. The dashboarding of human–machine intelligences produces a smartness characterizing contemporary computation, management, and organization.

A 2D and 3D thermo-elastic-plastic (TEP) FE Analysis has been developed to simulate the angular distortion induced by Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process on combination of butt and T-joint with thickness of 9 mm. The material used in this study was low alloy Manganese Carbon steel S355J2G3. In this research, SYSWELD 2010 with its computation management tool known as Multipassed Welding Advisor (MPA) was used to analyze the distortion behaviour of combined joint types. To model the heat source of GMAW, Goldak’s double ellipsoid representation which is available within this FEA code was selected. The final objective of this research is hence aimed to be base line study to provide preliminary information in preparing the tools or equipments for experimental investigation.
