Pidgin Metadata Framework as a Mediator for Metadata Interoperability

A pidgin metadata framework based on the concept of pidgin metadata is proposed to complement the limitations of existing approaches to metadata interoperability and to achieve more reliable metadata interoperability. The framework consists of three layers, with a hierarchical structure, and reflects the semantic and structural characteristics of various metadata. Layer 1 performs both an external function, serving as an anchor for semantic association between metadata elements, and an internal function, providing semantic categories that can encompass detailed elements. Layer 2 is an arbitrary layer composed of substantial elements from existing metadata and performs a function in which different metadata elements describing the same or similar aspects of information resources are associated with the semantic categories of Layer 1. Layer 3 implements the semantic relationships between Layer 1 and Layer 2 through the Resource Description Framework syntax. With this structure, the pidgin metadata framework can establish the criteria for semantic connection between different elements and fully reflect the complexity and heterogeneity among various metadata. Additionally, it is expected to provide a bibliographic environment that can achieve more reliable metadata interoperability than existing approaches by securing the communication between metadata.

HAKIKAT ADMINISTRASI PEMERINTAHAN ISLAM

As a teaching that originates from revelation, Islam does not only speak in the orientation of aqidah and worship alone. More than that, Islam also discusses all scientific dimensions including good and efficient administrative models. The process of Islamization can take the form of a classical concept that is being tried again, or an offer for the future as a media solution in responding to the current government administration. A nation as large as the era of the Prophet Muhammad would not have survived if there were no solid and ideal government administration system. Likewise, in the time of the Bani Ummayah, the Abbasids, even the Ottoman era which carved the history of Islam as the largest and most respected group of its time. Once again, this glory could not have been achieved if the Islamic government at that time did not have the knowledge of qualified government administration. Administration is divided into two. (1) Administration in the strict sense is an administrative activity which includes the activities of note-taking, correspondence, bookkeeping and filing of letters as well as other matters intended to provide information and facilitate obtaining information back if needed. (2) Administration in the broad sense is the translation of the narrow meaning that includes the external function of the correspondence itself. Whether it is the background of the letter, the purpose of the letter, the benefits of the letter, the deadline of the letter, and so forth. On the scientific plane, administration has close significance with other scholars such as history, politics, social science, psychology, and even other applied sciences.

PostgreSQL merupakan salah satu sistem database yang gratis dan memiliki fitur fitur yang handal, salah satu fitur yang membedakan PostgreSQL dengan sistem basisdata yang lainnya adalah adanya fitur pembuatan Function, dimana pengguna dapat mendefinisikan sendiri Function-nya dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman tertentu, yang kemudian dapat dipanggil kembali untuk dieksekusi. Pada peneletian ini penulis mencoba melakukan pengujian penambahan data dengan menggunakan perintah INSERT dan perintah External Function yang dibuat sendiri pada terminal/command prompt dan web browser.

The Prague Linguistic Circle was a group of linguists, philologists, literary theorists, and cultural analysts who began meeting on a regular basis in 1926 and thereafter exerted a widespread influence throughout the century. Its members defined the approach as jointly structuralist and functionalist, although the structuralist aspect of their project acquired greater international visibility. Their collective programme involved a dual focus both on the relations of structural contrast and resemblance that make up a given language or cultural artefact and – inseparably from that, they argued – on the role of those structures conceived in terms of their internal and (to some extent) external function.

FUNGSI EKSTERNAL DAN KATEGORI FRASE NOMINA BAHASA MELAYU MANADO

This research entitled “External Fuctions and Categories of Noun Phrase in Malay Manado Language”. The analysis of this research focuses on describes the external functions and categories of noun phrase structure in Malay Manado language. This research contributes to the development of linguistics in the field of Syntactic especially External Fuctions and Categories of Noun Phrase in Malay Manado Language.The methodology that used in this research is desciptive method. The data is taken from interview natives people by using some social media like WhatsApp, Facebook, instagram, and as well as interview by face-to-face. All the data is primary which is the data obtained comes from first hand or original sources.The collected data are identified and analyzed in term of how the external function and categories of noun phrase is performed in the language by using Aarts & Aarts’s theory (1982).The writer found 16 sentences data in Malay Manado language. The syntactic external function level is filled by subject, predicate, and adverb. The level of the external category, noun phrases attached to the subject function are 11 clauses, noun phrases that attach to the predicate function are 11 clauses, and noun phrases attached to the adverb are 4 clauses.Keyword : Syntactics, Function, Category, Malay Manado Language

Damping optimization in mechanical systems with external force

We consider a mechanical system excited by an external force. Model of such a system is described by the system of ordinary differential equations: Mx¨(t) + Dx˙(t) + Kx(t) = ˆf(t), where matrices M, K (mass and stiffness) are positive definite and the vector ˆf corresponds to an external force. The damping matrix D is assumed to be positive semidefinite and has a small rank. The motivation for our approach is related to the harmonic response of the mechanical system under the influence of the harmonic force. Here we consider external function consisting of simple oscillating functions which is motivated by Fourier series which decomposes periodic functions into the sum of a set of simple oscillating functions. In this setting, we consider criterions average energy amplitude and average displacement amplitude that allow damping optimization of mechanical system excited by an external force. Since in general a damping optimization is a very demanding problem, we provide a new explicit formulas which have been used for efficient damping optimization. The efficiency of new formulas has been illustrated with a numerical examples.

KEUNTUNGAN PENGGUNAAN EXTERNAL FUNCTION PADA DATABASE POSTGRESQL

PostgreSQL merupakan salah satu sistem database yang gratis dan memiliki fitur fitur yang handal, salah satu fitur yang membedakan PostgreSQL dengan sistem basisdata yang lainnya adalah adanya fitur pembuatan Function, dimana pengguna dapat mendefinisikan sendiri Function-nya dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman tertentu, yang kemudian dapat dipanggil kembali untuk dieksekusi. Pada peneletian ini penulis mencoba melakukan pengujian penambahan data dengan menggunakan perintah INSERT dan perintah External Function yang dibuat sendiri pada terminal/command prompt dan web browser. Dari hasi uji coba yang dilakukan, dihasilkan rata rata waktu proses penambahan data pada terminal/command prompt dengan menggunakan perintah INSERT adalah 185.293 ms dan rata rata waktu proses external function adalah 129.52 ms, sedangkan rata rata waktu proses penambahan data pada web browser dengan menggunakan perintah INSERT adalah 168,363 ms dan external function adalah 145,64 ms . Kedua perintah tersebut terdapat perbedaan dalam penulisan perintah, namun external function merupakan perintah yang didefinisikan secara mandiri oleh pengguna hal ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk menentukan bentuk perintah sesuai yang diinginkan pengguna.</p>

Research of an Expert System for Fault Diagnose of the Airborne Electronic Devices Based on VC ++ and CLIPS

In order to solve the problems that diagnosis cycle is very long and diagnostic accuracy is very low dependent on the maintenance man to diagnose fault by experience, an expert system for fault diagnose of a planes airborne electronic devices based on VC++ and CLIPS is proposed. The information exchange is realized between VC++ and CLIPS through writing external function of CLIPS by VC++ platform. The fact base can be generated quickly through acquiring test parameters from test model according to the fault information template base. The expert system established by VC++ platform to write man machine interface codes and load CLIPS to realize fault reasoning can realize the fast fault diagnosis for the airborne electronic devices.
