Entrepreneurial Opportunities of Bamboo Base Archery Sports Equipment Production in Manipur: A Case Study

Entrepreneur is a person who accept challenging role to meet personal needs and become economically independent, capable of contributing values in both family and social life. The term “entrepreneur” is defining in a variety of ways and the concept of which is changing from time to time. Kaish and Gilad (1991) defined entrepreneurship as the process of first, discovering, and second acting on a disequilibrium opportunity. Regarded as one of the oldest sporting event, Archery sports have been included in Olympics since the early parts of Modern Olympics. It began to attract young archers in India since 1970's but due to expensiveness, it fails to produce good archers in large number as the cost of one set of FITA bow @ recurve bows ranges from 50,000 to few lakhs. Poor but talented archers cannot afford found good enough learning hands in bamboo bow and arrows that gradually became a good replacement for FITA bow. Automated ESP Failure Root Cause Identification and Analyses Using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing Technologies

Today, the Dismantle, Inspection, and Failure Analysis (DIFA) process for electrical submersible pump (ESP) failure analysis is a tedious, human-intensive, and time-consuming activity. The activity involves a set of data and various information formats from several activities in the ESP operation lifecycle. This paper proposes a novel artificial intelligence workflow to improve the efficiency of the DIFA process using an ensemble of machine learning (ML) algorithms. This ensemble of algorithms brings together structured/unstructured data across equipment, production, operations, and failure reports to automate root-cause identification and analysis post breakdown. As a result, the time and human effort required in the process has been reduced, and process efficiency has drastically improved.

Analysis of production, consumption and environmental burden of plastic industry in Vietnam by input-output table

The plastic industry is an economic sector that plays an important role in promoting a circular economy in Vietnam. This study used the updated 2018 input-output (IO) table to identify and analyse the production and consumption of seven different plastics including: HDPE, PS, PE, PET, PVC, PP, and others. The study also integrated the IO model to unveil the environmental burden of these plastics through the plastic demand of 40 economic sectors and households. As a result, in 2018, the amount of direct solid waste from the plastic industry was 58,147 tons and the amount of indirect solid waste from the plastic industry to other economic sectors and the household sector were 214,258 tons and 6,262 tons, respectively. Agriculture and its services, food processing, fashion manufacturing, basic chemical production, electrical and electronic equipment production, and transport production embodied the highest indirect burdens due to their use of plastic products. This study contributes to MFA research and developing strategies for sustainable production and consumption of plastics and the management of plastic waste in Vietnam.

DIGITAL TERRESTRIAL BROADCASTING: FEATURES OF IMPLEMENTATION AND ISSUES OF USING RADIO BROADCASTING

В статье проанализированы основные характеристики существующих систем цифрового звукового и мультимедийного радиовещания, преимущества цифрового радиовещания как технологии передачи звуковой и мультимедийной информации, особенности использования различных диапазонов частот, влияние социальных, технико-экономических факторов и географических особенностей на технические требования к сетям радиовещания. Рассмотрены вопросы организации высококачественного радиовещания, способного привлечь аудиторию в условиях современного развития технологий. Определены основные задачи в области производства приемного оборудования для цифрового радиовещания. The article analyzes the main features of existing digital sound and multimedia broadcasting, advantages of digital radio as a technology for transmitting sound and multimedia information, benefits of different frequency ranges for digital radio, the influence of social, technical, and economic factors, and geographical characteristics on the technical requirements for broadcasting networks. The issues of the organization of high-quality radio broadcasting capable to attract an audience in conditions of the modern development of technologies are considered. The main tasks in the field of digital radio receiving equipment production are determined.

Faktor- Faktor Eksternal pada Peternak Sapi Potong yang Mengikuti Program AUTS di Kabupaten Sinjai,Propinsi Sulawesi Selatan

This study aimed to determine the external factors of beef cattle farmers who participated in the Cattle Livestock Business Insurance (AUTS) program in Tellulimpoe District, Sinjai Regency. This research was conducted in Tellulimpoe District, Sinjai Regency from November to December 2018. The population was all of the beef cattle farmers who participated in the AUTS program, namely 582 people. Slovin formula was used to determine the samples and 41 beef cattle farmers were taken as a result. Primary and secondary data were used as data sources. The data were analyzed descriptively with the assistance of tabulation. The results showed that the external factors of beef cattle farmers who participated in the cattle business insurance program were the market for livestock business, the ever-advancing technology in the field of animal husbandry, the availability of production-supporting facilities along with the availability of equipment, production-stimulants for farmers, and lastly, freight and transportation. Key words: characteristics; beef cattle farmers; insurance; cattle; external factors Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor eksternal pada peternak yang mengikuti program Asuransi Usaha Ternak Sapi di Kecamatan Tellulimpoe, Kabupaten Sinjai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Tellulimpoe Kabupaten Sinjai pada Bulan November sampai Desember 2018. Populasi adalah semua peternak sapi potong yang mengikuti program AUTS yaitu 582 orang. Responden yang diambil sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin diperoleh 41 orang peternak. Sumber data adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan bantuan tabulasi.Hasil penelitian menujunkkan factor eksternal peternak yang mengikuti program asuransi usaha ternak sapi yaitu pasaran untuk hasil usahaternak, teknologi yang senantiasa maju di bidang peternakan, tersedianya sarana dan peralatan produksi pendukung yang tersedia di tempat, perangsang produksi bagi peternak, pengangkutan dan transportasi.
