The exclusive photoproduction of the heavy vector mesons [Formula: see text] is investigated in the context of ultra-peripheral collisions proton-proton and nucleus-nucleus for the energies available at the LHC run 2. Using the light-cone color dipole formalism, it was calculated the transverse momentum distribution in the central rapidity region, in which it is expected major contribution for the process.

Forward–backward (FB) charge correlations are investigated by analyzing experimental data on 16 O – AgBr interactions at 14.5A, 60A and 200A GeV . Findings are compared with the predictions of Monte Carlo model, heavy-ion jet interaction generater (HIJING). The results reveal that the observed correlations are mainly of short-range type, which arise due to the decay of clusters and/or resonances produced in the central rapidity region. The range of FB correlations are observed to extend with increasing beam energy. However, there is no evidence for the presence of long-range correlations even at the highest incident energy considered.

Hadron inclusive spectra in pp collisions are analyzed within the modified quark–gluon string model including both the longitudinal and transverse motion of quarks in the proton in the wide region of initial energies. The self-consistent analysis shows that the experimental data on the inclusive spectra of light hadrons like pions and kaons at ISR energies can be satisfactorily described at transverse momenta not larger than 1–2 GeV /c. We discuss some difficulties to apply this model at energies above the ISR and suggest to include the distribution of gluons in the proton unintegrated over the internal transverse momentum. It leads to an increase in the inclusive spectra of hadrons and allows us to extend the satisfactory description of the data in the central rapidity region at energies higher than ISR.

Recently the H 1 Collaboration observed a narrow peak in D*-p invariant mass spectrum from what is believed to be an anti-charmed pentaquark baryon state with [Formula: see text] quark content, produced in deep inelastic scattering in ep collisions at HERA. This new state was tentatively named [Formula: see text] as being an anti-charmed analog of Θ+ pentaquark discovered in 2003 by LEPS Collaboration. The upgraded CDF detector is sensitive to production of charmed pentaquark states in central rapidity region due to ability to trigger on displaced tracks from weakly decaying daughter hadrons. At this conference we report results of searches for anti-charmed pentaquark [Formula: see text] and its charged isospin partner [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text] collisions at [Formula: see text] at Tevatron.
