This article explains the usage and benefit of incorporating gamification into the company’s management system. The reason this paper is made because many not engaged and actively disengage employee exist, and the problem also occur in PT. XYZ where they still have no knowledge management system. We understand from the research done that by having just knowledge management is not enough since it will not automatically improve employee’s engagement rate, therefore by implementing gamification and incorporating it with the knowledge management system could be the solution to increase company’s engagement rate. The design of the business process design of this system is made using Activity Diagrams and Use Case Diagrams. While the database design is explained in the form of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). There might be many challenges and problems appeared within the company to make the system run smoothly from the technical and culture side of the company.

The application of Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the Balinese sentence dictionary is an application that can provide information about the meaning of Indonesian to Balinese translation using the words contained in the Indonesian pocket dictionary, the results or meanings obtained are based on the application of Natural Language Processing (NLP) in accordance with the stipulated provisions. This application does not translate per word but per sentence. The application of NLP in the Balinese sentence dictionary serves to provide convenience for tourists or users who are used to communicate with the Balinese people and understand the Balinese language itself. In addition, it can provide time efficiency to users because this application is built offline on the Android mobile operating system, so that it can be accessed anywhere and anytime. In its implementation, the waterfall method is used and the output of this application is Indonesian sentences to Balinese sentences. And in the development of this application used tools with UML (Unified Modelling Processing) which consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequential diagrams, statechart diagrams and class diagrams. Keywords: Dictionary, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Balinese

Rental is a service provider that provides vehicle rental services. Currently, there are still many rental businesses that use manual systems for data processing which results in less efficient and slow work. Lack of information also makes it difficult for prospective tenants to find out the vehicle you want to rent. Making this application design aims to help facilitate ordering and information. This vehicle rental application will be designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method, which visualizes the modeling using Use Case Diagrams and Activity Diagrams. Then the programming language that will be planned is JAVA language, with the MYSQL database as data storage. Meanwhile, the application development uses the Netbeans IDE 8.2. This system will provide results in the form of rental information and ordering transactions to facilitate vehicle rental activities.

This paper proposes an approach integrating UML 2.0 Activity Diagrams (UML2-AD) and Communicating Sequential Process (CSP) for modeling and verication of software systems. A UML2-AD is used for modeling a software system while CSP is used for verication purposes. The proposed approach consists of another way of transforming UML2-AD models to Communicating Sequential Process (CSP) models. It focuses also on checking the correctness of some properties of the transformation itself. These properties are specified using Linear Temporal Logic (LTL) and verified using the GROOVE model checker. This approach is based on Model Driven Engineering (MDE). The meta-modelling is realized using AToMPM tool while the model transformation and the correctness of its properties are realized using GROOVE tool. Finally, we illustrated this approach through a case study.

The benefit of exploratory testing and ad hoc testing by tester’s experience is that crucial bugs are found quickly. Regression testing and test case prioritization are important processes of software testing when software functions have been changed. We propose a test path prioritization method to generate a sequence of test paths that would match the testers’ interests and focuses on the target area of interest or on the changed area. We generate test paths form the activity diagrams and survey the test path prioritization from testers. We define node and edge weight to the symbols of activity diagrams by applying Time management, Pareto, Buffett, Binary, and Bipolar method. Then we propose a test path score equation to prioritize test paths. We also propose evaluation methods i.e., the difference and the similarity of test path prioritization to testers’ interests. Our proposed method had the least average of the difference and the most average of the similarity compare with the tester’s prioritization of test paths. The Bipolar method was the most suitable for assigning weights to match test path rank by the tester. Our proposed method also has given the affected path by changing area higher priority than the other test path.

Location Based Service (LBS) is a service to provide information that has been created, compiled, selected or filtered by considering the location of users or other people or current mobile devices [1]. It is possible to implement LBS using GPS because mobile devices have GPS services [6]. Based on these services, making an application for room recognition can be done by utilizing the Google Maps API by implementing GIS, LBS, and GPS. Implementation of application with extreme programming methods is carried out in accordance with the stages. In the planning part, an analysis is carried out on the business needs and user stories, in the design, use case diagrams and activity diagrams are made, coding is done by implementing the design using the mobile programming language, and testing is done using black box testing. The application of LBS is carried out when calling the room information page which functions to find the location of the room and displays notifications and room information when the user enters the radius that has been determined in the room data. Determining the radius is very important to do so that the information about the room that is displayed does not overlap with other rooms. This is done to keep the room information displayed to the user only to display information about one room only. Therefore, when determining the radius of the room, it must be determined carefully so that the radius can create a circle that does not intersect with other radius circles. The room information displayed is obtained from data management by the admin through the building management page, rooms, and items. In managing, admins can add, edit, and delete data.
