The objective of this chapter is to implement an intelligent model based on machine learning in the application of macro-ergonomic methods in human resources processes based on the ISO 12207 standard. To achieve the objective, a method of constructing a Java language algorithm is applied to select the best prospect for a given position. Machine learning is done through decision trees and algorithm j48. Among the findings, it is shown that the model is useful in identifying the best profiles for a given position, optimizing the time in the selection process and human resources as well as the reduction of work stress.

With the development of the Big Data sphere, as well as those fields of study that we can relate to artificial intelligence, the need for fast and efficient computing has become one of the most important tasks nowadays. That is why in the recent decade, graphics processing unit computations have been actively developing to provide an ability for scientists and developers to use thousands of cores GPUs have in order to perform intensive computations. The goal of this research is to implement orthogonal decomposition of a matrix by applying a series of Householder transformations in Java language using JCuda library to conduct a research on its benefits. Several related papers were examined. Malaschonok and Savchenko in their work have introduced an improved version of QR algorithm for this purpose [4] and achieved better results, however Householder algorithm is more promising for GPUs according to another team of researchers – Lahabar and Narayanan [6]. However, they were using Float numbers, while we are using Double, and apart from that we are working on a new BigDecimal type for CUDA. Apart from that, there is still no solution for handling huge matrices where errors in calculations might occur. The algorithm of orthogonal matrix decomposition, which is the first part of SVD algorithm, is researched and implemented in this work. The implementation of matrix bidiagonalization and calculation of orthogonal factors by the Hausholder method in the jCUDA environment on a graphics processor is presented, and the algorithm for the central processor for comparisons is also implemented. Research of the received results where we experimentally measured acceleration of calculations with the use of the graphic processor in comparison with the implementation on the central processor are carried out. We show a speedup up to 53 times compared to CPU implementation on a big matrix size, specifically 2048, and even better results when using more advanced GPUs. At the same time, we still experience bigger errors in calculations while using graphic processing units due to synchronization problems. We compared execution on different platforms (Windows 10 and Arch Linux) and discovered that they are almost the same, taking the computation speed into account. The results have shown that on GPU we can achieve better performance, however there are more implementation difficulties with this approach.

Abstract A machine vision system has been developed for recording data obtained on an experimental installation for studying relaxation transitions of polymers, as well as studying the dynamic shear modulus during phase transformations in alloys based on titanium nickelide. The computer vision system is based on simple algorithms implemented in the Java language in the IDE “Processing”. The conditions for the experiment and the procedure for processing the experimental data obtained on the basis of the machine vision system are determined.

In this method the author uses the UCD (User Centered Design) system development method and analysis and system design tools using a Flowchart (Flowchart) programming language used JAVA language with Adobe Flash CS6 application. This application was created aiming to be able to help early childhood, kindergarten/PAUD level students as well as teachers and parents in introducing and teaching letters, numbers, fruit, colors, animals, shapes and vehicles.

We can use java language to design the game of chess on eclipse platform and design a new rule for it : “Six in a Row”, this game is more complex than Five-in-a-Row,and we can add a function of Man-Machine Battle in the program. This paper which based on the practical programming experience introduce the algorithm of the above game. The basic mentality of the algorithm is creating a scoring table and all points of the chessboard are scored by using ergodic method. Finally, the machine will placing the chess in the point which have the highest score. This algorithm is clearly operable, and the machine has a high rate of winning when play with human.

<p>The present project is motivated by the recognition that the use of mobile fitness application is increasingly popular among sports and exercise participants in recent years. However, an extensive research on mobile fitness application indicates that most of them are not suitable for beginners. Thus, this project paper describes the development process of a mobile fitness application for beginners, who are looking at enhancing their physical fitness level. This mobile fitness application is developed using android studio and java language. Upon the development of this mobile fitness application, a user testing was conducted and analyzed. The result shows that users were satisfied with the applications as most test scores were above average. Based on these results, the usage of this newly developed mobile fitness application can be suggested to be used by beginner exercisers.</p>

The CDR of TB was increased in North Lampung District. It implicates the demand of family oriented health care for TB. The geographic conditions, limitation of nurse became challenges for informatics developers to generate supporting tools for TB home care. The goal of this study was to generate a prototipe by using mobile technology for nurses as part of Community Health Nursing. By using SDLC approach, problems related to the existing information system were identified and also the need for system improvement. Researcher used PRISM framework to help identify problems in organizational factor, technical factors and behavioral factors which interrelated among them. Android smartphone was choosen. It considered nurses’ use-friendliness, the capability of android makes computation, simple, and easy to carry and also capability to work with the internet. Nurses of Puskesmas A and Puskesmas M scored the protototipe as middle to high level of usage factor. The prototype capable to provide data of suspected TB among family member, regiment progress, drug adherence and control over, as well as useful information for TB research. We recommend implementing prototype into Java language program, building a website for data communication, and developing intelligence system of family nursing care with TB .

A dataset of molecules used in the pharmaceuticals industry, was shared during a hackathon , arranged by the Indian government, for COVID-19 related drug discovery. The molecules were provided in SMILE format. It is decoded using the chem-informatics development kit written in the Java language. The kit can be accessed in the R statistical environment through the rJava package that is further wrapped in the rcdk package. The output to be predicted is the cardiotoxicity the molecules. The strings representing the molecular structure, are parsed by the rcdk functions, to provide structure-activity descriptors, that are known, to be good predictors for biological activity; the activity may be therapeutic or toxic. These descriptors constitute the input to the Decision Tree, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Support-Vector Machine,Logistic Regression and Artificial Neural Network algorithms. This paper reports the results of the data science project to determine the best subset of molecular descriptors, from the large set that is available.
