Abstract Rapid generation of natural gas hydrates is the basis for the application of hydrate storage and transportation. In this work, the kinetic parameters of methane hydrate formation (gas consumption, gas consumption rate constant and reaction space velocity) both in the liquid continuous impinging stream (LIS) system and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) + water and LIS combination system were investigated in a liquid-continuous impinging stream reactor. The gas consumption rate constant was 3.40 × 10−8 mol2 s−1 J−1 without the impinging stream, while it increased with the increase of impinging strength and reached the maximum value of 3.68 × 10−8 mol2 s−1 J−1 when the impinging strength was 0.21. In the SDS + water and LIS combination system, when the SDS concentration was 600 mg/L, the maximum gas consumption rate constant was 3.99 × 10−8 mol2 s−1 J−1 without the impinging stream, while it reached the maximum value of 4.61 × 10−8 mol2 s−1 J−1 when the impinging strength was 0.38. The results showed that the impinging stream can effectively promote the formation rate of methane hydrate, and single mechanical promotion was better than non-promoting mode but combination promotion methods was better than single mechanical promotion.

Sidoarjo  is one of the regencies that is developing in a forward direction. This is known by the increase in the tourism sector and Small and Medium Enterprises. One of them is Sidoarjo leather handicraft. UD Qory Jaya is a business actor in the leather retail industry. Orders that continue to increase make the turnover of goods uneven resulting in a buildup of stock in stores. Due to these problems the compilers took the initiative to deliver messages by carrying out a method of processing data using the Apriori algorithm. This method is used to maximize the sales potential of a combination system of goods so that the target item for sale is appropriate. From the results of research conducted by testing a minimum support of 15% and a minimum of 20% confidence, the association rules are produced if you buy a slingbag then buy men's leather shoes and vice versa. And from the test results with a minimum support of 70% and a minimum confidence of 70% an association rule is not generated because the existing data does not exceed the minimum value of support and minimum confidence. With the implementation of this method, researchers hope to have a better impact for developing future marketing strategies based on previously researched data.

Coal mines are composed of multiple complex rock strata with different mechanical characteristics and energy accumulation and release performances. This implies uneven energy distribution in the coal-rock combination system (CRCS). To explore the effect of the included angle between the loading direction and the coal-rock contact surface on the mechanical properties, crack propagation mode, and energy evolution characteristics of the CRCS, the uniaxial compression tests were carried out on the CRCS samples with zero and 30° inclination angles. The obtained mechanical properties and energy dissipation trends of the tested samples were similar to those of the pure (raw) coal and rock ones but strongly depended on the inclination angles. The impact energy index of the CRCS samples was smaller than those of the pure coal and pure rock samples, and its impact tendency was less pronounced. The deformation and failure of the CRCS samples occurred in the coal part, the rock part inhibiting the development and deformation of the coal. According to the deformation and failure characteristics of the CRCS, the coal support far away from the contact surface should be strengthened in engineering practice to avoid the rock mass failure caused by the expansion and evolution of cracks in the coal part. At a 30° inclination angle, the CRCS sample was tensioned at the coal-rock contact surface, and the original cracks and pores were gradually compacted under the stress component perpendicular to the contact surface. With an increase in the inclination angle, the difference between the total energy accumulated before the peak and the released energy after the peak was reduced, and the difference between the total energy accumulated before the peak and the dissipated energy increased gradually. CRCS samples with different inclinations exhibited three damage stages: initial damage, stable damage growth, and rapid damage growth. The results obtained are considered instrumental in rockburst preventing, monitoring, and early warning under different stress environments.

Ducks are an important source of meat and egg products for human beings. In China, duck breeding has gradually changed from the traditional floor-water combination system to multilayer cage breeding. Therefore, the present study collected the hypothalamus and pituitary of 113-day-old ducks after being caged for 3 days, in order to investigate the effect of cage-rearing on the birds. In addition, the same tissues (hypothalamus and pituitary) were collected from ducks raised in the floor-water combination system, for comparison. Thereafter, the transcriptomes were sequenced and the expression level of genes were compared. The results of sequencing analysis showed that a total of 506 and 342 genes were differentially expressed in the hy-po-thalamus and pituitary, respectively. Additionally, the differentially expressed genes were mainly enriched in signaling pathways involved in processing environmental information, including ECM-receptor interaction, neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction and focal adhesion. The findings also showed that there was a change in the alternative splicing of genes when ducks were transferred into the cage rearing system. However, there was no difference in the expression of some genes although there was a change in the expression of the isoforms of these genes. The findings herein can therefore help in understanding the mechanisms underlying the effect of caging on waterfowl. The results also highlight the gene regulatory networks involved in animal responses to acute stress.
