An example of the analysis of rare events using the capacitive method is given. Events are considered as filling a certain capacity, like a cup of patience, on the basis of which it is possible to restore the resulting function of the difference between incoming and outgoing disturbance flows. Several functions of the effect of the event are considered, as well as an interpretation of the results obtained, for example, the rate of accumulation of dissatisfaction with social policy.

The article describes the result of the use SnO2-Pd thin films as a gate for structure measured ppb range of NO2 gas by the capacitive method. The technological aspects of fabrication SnO2-Pd gate and one comparison by metrological parameters with the classical Pd gate field effect sensor are discussed. The use of SnO2-Pd material allows improvement in sensitivity of NO2 by an order of magnitude compare the classical Pd based gate field effect sensors.

The latex K3 determinant prototype using the ATMEGA8535 microcontroller based capacitive method was completed . K3 measuring system is arranged in several systems, there are parallel plate capacitive sensors, multivibrator, frequency to voltage converter, non inverting amplifier, ATMega8535 microcontroller module and 16x2 character LCD. The value of the latex capacitance is converted into a frequency by a multivibrator, then the frequency is converted to voltage and connected to the microcontroller to be processed and displayed the K3 value of latex on the LCD. The voltage characterization processes with a K3 value produces a K3 characteristic equation = - 19.996v + 54,831. These equations are processed in the BASCOM AVR program which is embedded in the microcontroller. The determination of K3 is used capacitive sensor which functions to read changes in the dielectric constant of latex , which has dimensions of 2.5 x 2.5cm with a distance between pieces of 0.6cm. In testing, the prototype can determine the value of K3 from 18% to 28% and the difference in K3 values from 0.3% to 1.2% compared to industrial measurements.

The paper describes the electro-capacitive method for monitoring wire capacitance, which is implemented using the CAP-10 device, employed for in-process testing of the single core electric wire capacitance. Focus is made on the operating principle of the CAP-10 device. The possibility of using the CAP-10 device for detecting local defects in wire insulation is proved. Insulation defects such as foreign inclusions in the form of copper shavings, air cavities inside insulation and those at the core–insulation boundary are modeled. The impact of the defect geometric parameters on the wire capacitance measured during in-process testing is investigated through numerical simulation. Mathematical simulation results are validated through the physical model using the CAP-10 device.
