Introduction: Avocado exports have been affected by the presence of Hemiberlesia lataniae, the main damage is aesthetic and undermines fruit quality. Objective: To determine the spatial distribution of Hemiberlesia lataniae in a ‘Hass’ avocado crop in Estado de Mexico. Methodology: The experiment was developed in three avocado growing areas (Coatepec Harinas, Donato Guerra and Ixtapan del Oro). Sampling was carried out using the quadrat methodology, a total of 400 trees were sampled per zone from August 2019 to July 2020. The trees were divided into three strata (high, medium and low), and a terminal branch from each cardinal point was marked. Each tree was marked and georeferenced with a differential GPS. Results: A total of 24 samples per zone were generated, and all cases had an aggregated spatial behavior of Hemiberlesia lataniae. Semivariograms were fitted to spherical, exponential, and Gaussian models. Limitation of the study: Geostatistics is the only method that provides the exact location of the pest and the sample in density maps. Originality: The present study proposes to implement integrated management strategies to reduce ecological damage, due to indiscriminate use of insecticides, and presence of residues in fruits. Conclusions: The following study allowed us to know the spatial distribution of Hemiberlesia lataniae by means of density maps in three ‘Hass’ avocado producing areas in Estado de Mexico, where an aggregated spatial distribution was observed.

To find the optimal one from all feasible module configuration schemes of high-end computer numerical control machine tools according to performance, cost, and delivery, this article studies the method of module configuration optimization. An ideal outranking cardinal point based on the module configuration optimization approach of vertical computer numerical control honing machine is proposed in this article. First, it establishes the multi-objective decision model of the module configuration optimization according to performance indicator function, cost indicator function, and delivery indicator function. Second, the feasible configuration schemes, which are obtained based on customer requirements, are transformed into the data matrix of decision attributes. Third, ideal outranking cardinal point is used to calculate the multi-objective decision model of the module configuration optimization. According to the comprehensive distance between the feasible configuration schemes and the ideal outranking cardinal point, and the inverse ideal outranking cardinal point, the optimal configuration scheme is selected. The feasibility and universality of the proposed approach is verified by a module configuration optimization case of vertical computer numerical control honing machine.

In this work an interesting overview concerning the human attempts in the description of the concept of infi nite is presented. This peculiar concept represents a cardinal point in the history of human culture, because man, with different modalities, has always compared with it. Historically the main followed streams were two: the rational and the irrational approaches. In the fi rst approach we fi nd disciplines such as philosophy, mathematics and physics; thesecond is the domain of literature, arts and religion. Some activities for developing ideas about the intuitive concept of the infi nity at the level of compulsory education will be also given.

Small part of entire Brazil’s national territory is already demarcated as indigenous land. It has been revealed that the Natives were killed because of land issues, indicating that land issues and tenure rights are the epicenter of the problem. This article focuses on the cardinal point of Brazilian legal debates: keeping indigenous people’s tenure over the land they have been occupying immemorially. The analysis explores normative aspects on constitutional and legal protection over Brazilian indigenous rights and further scrutinizes the relevant case law that was settled before the Brazil’s Constitutional Court.

Importance of arbitration, as an Alternative Dispute Settlement mechanism, offers flexible, convenient and cost effective mode of solving the dispute. The cardinal point is the jurisdiction of the arbitral tribunal which vests powers to the arbitral tribunal or arbitrator to legally arbitrate of the dispute. This paper discuss the cardinal point of the arbitral jurisdiction, tracing where the arbitral tribunal or arbitrator powers originate and what happen if there is abuse or ultra vires in the exercise of the powers vested. The papers, comparatively, takes a snap shot of Rwanda, which has one of the modern arbitration legislation and Tanzania which as the oldest one, dated as far back as 1931.

Education for self realization is one of the cardinal point through wish our national philosophy and educational goals can be realized. Self realization is aimed at self confidence, self actualization, self reliance, independence, free and responsible citizenry who are capable of contributing meaningfully to the development of humanity. In realizing this goal, the schooling system largely depends on the instructional approach which makes both educators and learners to rely on classroom instructions to realize the self. It is true that much has been realized through this approach, yet it is not every learner that can benefit from the instructional approach. Using Plato's human psychology to construct education for self realization, the Nigerian learner will realize himself more because it will enable him to discover his potentials. But to what extent therefore can Plato's human psychology help in the construction of education for self realization in Nigeria education? The importance of this paper is that every being has desires and if such desires are matched with potentials and possibilities it may lead to the authentic self. The philosophical analysis method was employed in examining Plato's human psychology, education for self realization and how Plato's human psychology can be used to construct education for self realization in the schooling system.
