The goal of this article is to establish several new formulas and new results related to the Marichev-Saigo-Maeda fractional integral and fractional derivative operators which are applied on the (p,q)-extended Bessel function. The results are expressed as the Hadamard product of the (p,q)-extended Gauss hypergeometric function Fp,q and the Fox-Wright function rΨs(z). Some special cases of our main results are considered. Furthermore, the (p,q)-extended Bessel-Wright function is introduced. Finally, a variety of formulas for the Marichev-Saigo-Maeda fractional integral and derivative operators involving the (p,q)-extended Bessel-Wright function is established.

In this paper, we study a new class of Hardy-type inequalities involving fractional calculus operators. We derive the Hardy-type inequalities for the variant of Riemann–Liouville fractional calculus operators and [Formula: see text]-Hilfer fractional derivative operator. The obtained inequalities involving fractional operators are more general as compared to some existing results in the literature.

In the present paper, we establish some composition formulas for Marichev-Saigo-Maeda (MSM) fractional calculus operators with V -function as the kernel. In addition, on account of V -function, a variety of known results associated with special functions such as the Mittag-Leffler function, exponential function, Struve’s function, Lommel’s function, the Bessel function, Wright’s generalized Bessel function, and the generalized hypergeometric function have been discovered by defining suitable values for the parameters.

In this paper, we introduce a matrix version of the generalized heat polynomials. Some analytic properties of the generalized heat matrix polynomials are obtained including generating matrix functions, finite sums, and Laplace integral transforms. In addition, further properties are investigated using fractional calculus operators.

Abstract Mikusiński’s operational calculus is a formalism for understanding integral and derivative operators and solving differential equations, which has been applied to several types of fractional-calculus operators by Y. Luchko and collaborators, such as for example [26], etc. In this paper, we consider the operators of Riemann–Liouville fractional differentiation of a function with respect to another function, and discover that the approach of Luchko can be followed, with small modifications, in this more general setting too. The Mikusiński’s operational calculus approach is used to obtain exact solutions of fractional differential equations with constant coefficients and with this type of fractional derivatives. These solutions can be expressed in terms of Mittag-Leffler type functions.

In a previous article, first and last researchers introduced an extension of the hypergeometric functions which is called “ p , k -extended hypergeometric functions.” Motivated by this work, here, we derive several novel properties for these functions, including integral representations, derivative formula, k-Beta transform, Laplace and inverse Laplace transforms, and operators of fractional calculus. Relevant connections of some of the discussed results here with those presented in earlier references are outlined.

When fractional calculus operators and models are implemented rationally, there exist some problems such as low approximation accuracy of rational approximation function, inability to specify arbitrary approximation frequency band, or poor robustness. Based on the error criterion of the least squares method, a quadratic programming method based on the frequency-domain error is proposed. In this method, the frequency-domain error minimization between the fractional operator s ± r and its rational approximation function is transformed into a quadratic programming problem. The results show that the construction method of the optimal rational approximation function of fractional calculus operator is effective, and the optimal rational approximation function constructed can effectively approximate the fractional calculus operator and model for the specified approximation frequency band.

The desire for present article is to derive from the application of fractional calculus operators a transformation that expresses a potentially useful incomplete hypergeometric function in various forms of a countable sum of lesser-order functions. Often listed are numerous (known or new) specific cases and implications of the findings described herein
