The immunological experience is treating osteomyelitis chronic forms at the Istituto Putti in Cortina starts in 1963 by introducing immunotherapy, applied by the progressive administration in growing doses of a staphylococci pool, that had been collected from some patients with bone infections by the same germ and then inactivated in an aqueous solution suspension. This therapy is coadjutant of antibiotics, surgical and hyperbaric therapy and not substitutive of these. This study ascertained indeed a reduction of the phagocytic activity as a whole, and especially the opsonisation activity It has been thought therefore that in immunotherapy more factors are involved; their principal property is to reduce the allergising effect and therefore to desensitise vs. the germ proteins and to increase the phagocytic activity. This condition, neither whose entity nor its lasting may be defined, does not appear to be unlimited. Obviously this desensitisation can be obtained also by the right antibiotic choice that, as already said mainly in acute forms, may develop their bactericidal properties and sterilise the focus. In the chronic forms it is possible to provoke this mechanism by carrying out a surgical toilette that restores the vascularization and stimulation conditions needed for a correct antibiotic action. Checks upon immuno-stimulation treatment termination clearly showed corresponding results between laboratory deficit corrected and clinical conditions bettering. The casuistry is based on 50 patients with hematogenic osteomyelitis, all under the age of 16, age at which the growth plate is still active, and 117 post-traumatic septic non-union, where this term was adopted for cases that showed a lack of non-solidification at 6 months after trauma. We have expressly made a distinction between hematogenic and post-traumatic forms, since the relationships between bacterial counts vs. host response do differ.

Linked and maximal linked systems (MLS) on π -systems of measurable (in the wide sense) rectangles are considered (π-system is a family of sets closed with respect to finite intersections). Structures in the form of measurable rectangles are used in measure theory and probability theory and usually lead to semi-algebra of subsets of cartesian product. In the present article, sets-factors are supposed to be equipped with π-systems with “zero” and “unit”. This, in particular, can correspond to a standard measurable structure in the form of semialgebra, algebra, or σ-algebra of sets. In the general case, the family of measurable rectangles itself forms a π -system of set-product (the measurability is identified with belonging to a π - system) which allows to consider MLS on a given π -system (of measurable rectangles). The following principal property is established: for all considered variants of π -system of measurable rectangles, MLS on a product are exhausted by products of MLS on sets-factors. In addition, in the case of infinity product, along with traditional, the “box” variant allowing a natural analogy with the base of box topology is considered. For the case of product of two widely understood measurable spaces, one homeomorphism property concerning equipments by the Stone type topologies is established.

Maize is one of the most important field crops both in the world and in our country. All commercially grown maize hybrids can be classified into one of five elementary types: dent, flint, floury, popping and sweet maize. The objectives of this study were to characterize the grain chemical compositions of yellow-seeded and white-seeded maize dents, popping maize and sweet maize genotypes. The results show that grains contents of starch, protein, oil, crude fibre, and ash of four selected maize genotypes ranged in the intervals: 53.54-68.13%; 9.19-13.00%; 4.35-5.39%; 2.13-3.93% and 1.28-2.85%, respectively. The amylose to amylopectin ratio varied from 21:79 to 28:72, which is a principal property of normal maize starch. The content of lignocellulosic fibres: NDF, ADF, ADL, hemicellulose and cellulose ranged from 11.31-15.27%; 2.51-3.54%, 0.24-0.52%, 8.10-12.68% and 2.14-3.02%, respectively. The solubility index of albumin, globulin, zein and glutelin ranged from 9.46-29.42%, 5.64-13.13%, 21.11-28.10% and 18.81-23.69%, respectively

Gemcitabine is an anticancer drug used to treat a wide range of solid tumors and is a first line treatment for pancreatic cancer. Our group has previously developed novel conjugates of gemcitabine with cell-penetrating peptides (CPP), and here we report some preliminary data regarding the pharmacokinetics of gemcitabine, two gemcitabine-CPP conjugates and respective CPP gathered from GastroPlus™, and analyze these results considering our previous evaluation of gemcitabine release and conjugates’ bioactivity. Additionally, seeking to shed some light on the relation between the penetration ability of CPP and their physicochemical properties, chemical descriptors for the 20 natural amino acids were calculated, a new principal property scale (z-scale) was created and CPP prediction models were developed, establishing quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR). The z-scores of the peptides conjugated with gemcitabine are presented and analyzed with the aforementioned data.

Purpose: The existence of Muhammadiyah's religious variant is very reasonable because Muhammadiyah is the reality of social text that continues to be collected by its members consisting of various educated and besides, Muhammadiyah is a very dynamic tajdid movement. This study wants to reveal the religious variants of the elite of Muhammadiyah citizens in understanding the problem of usury and bank interest. Methodology: The approach in this study uses a phenomenological descriptive analysis. Result: From this analysis, it is known that there are two variants of the elite Muhammadiyah in addressing the problem of usury and bank interest. First; The elite of Muhammadiyah from the young class thought is influenced by the stream of modernism / substantive legal. They argue that "riba is an excess of principal property, but not every excess is forbidden. The Excess of forbidden is the advantages that bring harm/tyranny for all parties ". And Second; A small part of the Muhammadiyah elite of the old class of thought follows the neo-revivalism / legal formal. They argue that the Qur'anic verses that contain legal issues are qath'y like verses of usury. For that the verses of the law should no longer be interpreted other than what has been written on the text. This stream argues the meaning of usury is a good advantage of little or much while the bank interest is the excess of basic assets then the law is forbidden. Applications: This research can be used for universities, teachers, and students. Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of the variant of thought of the Muhammadiyah price elites in conducting usury and interest of bank learning is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

This chapter gives an account of uses, and is inserted here because it was their association with the avoidance of feudal revenues which resulted in the principal property legislation. Uses began as factual situations in which land was held for the benefit of another. They grew in popularity as enabling land to be left by will. The common law took no notice of such extra-feudal arrangements, but by the fifteenth century the Chancery had assumed jurisdiction over uses as a matter of conscience. A statute of 1484 attached legal consequences to the use, so that it became an estate in land. Uses incidentally enabled landowners to avoid feudal incidents, and this was tackled by the Statute of Uses 1536, which put an end to wills of land, and the Statute of Wills 1540, which revived them. These statutes are explained in the context of preserving the king’s feudal incidents.

AbstractA new algorithm for eigenvalue problems for linear differential operators with fractional derivatives is proposed and justified. The algorithm is based on the approximation (perturbation) of the coefficients of a part of the differential operator by piecewise constant functions where the eigenvalue problem for the last one is supposed to be simpler than the original one. Another milestone of the algorithm is the homotopy idea which results at the possibility for a given eigenpair number to compute recursively a sequence of the approximate eigenpairs. This sequence converges to the exact eigenpair with a super-exponential convergence rate. The eigenpairs can be computed in parallel for all prescribed indexes. The proposed method possesses the following principal property: its convergence rate increases together with the index of the eigenpair. Numerical examples confirm the theory.

We consider Russian coordinative constructions with paired conjunctions, such as i?i ?both?and?, ili?ili ?either?or?, ni?ni ?neither?nor?, ne tol'ko?no i ?not only?but also?, ne?a ?not?but?, etc. The paper presents a class of syntactic constructions, so-called asymmetric constructions, which are interesting in several respects. They are closely related to coordinative constructions, although they do not share their principal property - the identity of syntactic functions of coordinated elements. They take up an intermediate position between standard syntax and ungrammaticality. On the one hand, the sentence is within the grammatical norm. On the other hand, its structure underwent a deformation that left a trace. We propose a description that accounts for their closeness to and difference from standard - symmetric - constructions. Symmetric constructions with paired conjunctions are convenient to describe as a result of two transformations occurring in the semantic structure: Deletion and Transfer. Asymmetric constructions are obtained when only one of these transformations is applied. Accordingly, two subclasses of asymmetric constructions can be distinguished - ?Deletion-Without-Transfer? constructions and ?Transfer-Without-Deletion? constructions. The latter class has a strong pragmatic marking. The core of this class are ?failed? symmetric constructions. The speaker begins to build a symmetric construction but faces an obstacle of syntactic nature, which prevents him from completing this plan. ?Transfer-Without-Deletion? constructions constitute a legalized way of overcoming syntactic conflicts.

The problem of the commutativity of algebraic (categorical) diagrams has attracted the attention of researchers for a long time. For example, the related notion of coherence was discussed in Mac Lane's homology book Mac Lane (1963), see also his AMS presidential address Mac Lane (1976). Researchers in category theory view this problem from a specific angle, and for them it is not just a question of convenient notation, though it is worth mentioning the important role that notation plays in the development of science (take, for example, the progress made after the introduction of symbolic notation in logics or matrix notation in algebra). In 1976, Peter Freyd published the paper ‘Properties Invariant within Equivalence Types of Categories’ (Freyd 1976), where the central role is played by the notion of a ‘diagrammatic property’. We may also recall the process of ‘diagram chasing’, and its applications in topology and algebra. But before we can use diagrams (and the principal property of a diagram is its commutativity), it is vital for us to be able to check whether a diagram is commutative.

Composites containing gypsum-free cement features quick strength rise at the age between 1 and 3 days. Such property predestine gypsum-free cement concrete for repair of building constructions that are to be put into service as soon as possible. Repair of concrete-cement pavements and surfaces of similar character belongs to one of field of gypsum-free cement concrete application. Materials of these constructions shall comply not only with required strength characteristics but also with needed durability. That is why resistance to alternate frost, thawing and chemical deicing substances is the principal property of GFC concrete surface. Properties of gypsum-free cement concrete – whether fresh or hardened – are mainly affected by following factors: properties of gypsum-free cement (fineness of grinding, quantity of admixtures controlling initial setting time, clinker chemical composition) as well as mineralogical and chemical composition of natural compact aggregates, and water-cement ratio. Factors listed above are to be taken into account also during design of gypsum-free cement concrete composition. This article deals with design procedure concerning composition of concrete containing gypsum-free cement considering its specificities.
