Enlarging or reducing the antenna beam width of antennas can improve the positioning capability of detection systems. A miniaturized and easily fabricated ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna system for long-distance electromagnetic detection is proposed in this article. Two ultra-wideband Vivaldi antennae were designed. One was the transmitting antenna with a beam width of 90° or above, the other was a narrow beam antenna array with beam width less than 10°, as a receiving antenna. Both proposed antennae feature broadside gain diagrams with stable radiation patterns and wideband impedance matching in the frequency range between 2.5 GHz and 4 GHz. After detecting their frequency and time-domain behaviors, the detection system can achieve measurements covering a radius of 30 m.

Submarine cable is widely used in today’s oil industry, and it is a much hidden large-scale industrial facility, which vigorously promotes the development of people’s lives. With the widespread use of submarine cables based on multisensor communication, as far as the current situation is concerned, this paper makes a report and summary on the research of submarine cable detection method in shallow sea area (sea area within 200 m). According to the implementation of the project and the way of controlling variables, the current common detection modes are planned, fault prediction, fault diagnosis, fault analysis and summary, and experimental data comparison, and then, we can use Brillouin radio frequency to prevent the occurrence of submarine cable fault, and when the fault occurs, we can detect the fault at the first time. The feedback value range of TTSL electromagnetic detection is very stable, and the Brillouin scattering frequency is within the normal fluctuation range. In deep-sea exploration, TTSL electromagnetic detection can detect faults for submarine cables and will not affect the fault in all aspects of waveform and wavelength. Finally, the best path and future development trend of submarine cable detection method are obtained by analyzing and summarizing the detection data, and a complete scheme plan such as some preventive measures and repair technology is put forward.

Abstract Active electromagnetic detection explores targets using electromagnetic reflection field of metal objects. In view of the detection of active electromagnetic by detecting target reflection field, a Teager energy operator(TEO) is adopted to improve the electromagnetic reflection amplitude and instantaneous frequency detection method, the method of theoretical description and simulation verification has also carried out in this paper. Results show that this method is able to track the change of the single frequency signal of electromagnetic reflection field with good effect. It is also able to provide full details of the judgment to confirm the target. This method is simple and convenient for real-time processing, and has good application value.

Perimeter detection systems detect intruders penetrating protected areas, but modern solutions require the combination of smart detectors, information networks and controlling software to reduce false alarms and extend detection range. The current solutions available to secure a perimeter (infrared and motion sensors, fiber optics, cameras, radar, among others) have several problems, such as sensitivity to weather conditions or the high failure alarm rate that forces the need for human supervision. The system exposed in this paper overcomes these problems by combining a perimeter security system based on CEMF (control of electromagnetic fields) sensing technology, a set of video cameras that remain powered off except when an event has been detected. An autonomous drone is also informed where the event has been initially detected. Then, it flies through computer vision to follow the intruder for as long as they remain within the perimeter. This paper covers a detailed view of how all three components cooperate in harmony to protect a perimeter effectively, without having to worry about false alarms, blinding due to weather conditions, clearance areas, or privacy issues. The system also provides extra information of where the intruder is or has been, at all times, no matter whether they have become mixed up with more people or not during the attack.

Abstract In order to find out the characteristics of geological isomer exposed in the mining process of 12318 working face in Pansan Mine and grasp its influence law on subsequent coal seams mining, the isomer was firstly determined as the collapse column by means of 3D seismic, transient electromagnetic detection, SYT detection and other methods, and its development characteristics, conductivity and water enrichment were identified.Then FLAC3D numerical simulation software was used to analyze the characteristics of vertical stress and plastic failure zone in different coal seams during mining.Finally, by comparing the ultimate failure depth of floor and the thickness of waterproof layer in the process of each coal seam directly pushing through the collapse column, the risk of water inrush and the prevention are analyzed.The results show that the exposed geological isomer is characterized by weak water-rich collapse column.Under the influence of the mining of the previous coal seam and the activation of the collapse column, the subsequent coal seam is in the low stress area before mining, which increases the floor failure and causes the activation of the collapse column more easily during mining.Coal 5# and 4# can be directly pushed through the collapse column, and coal pillar of sufficient width should be left for coal 1# to prevent the collapse column from activating water inrush.
