The purpose of the following project is to measure the level of ergonomic culture of a manufacturing company that is dedicated to the development of cables, fiber optics, cabling systems and related services for the automotive sector and cable systems; To carry out this study, the ergonomic culture questionnaire in work centers (CCE-T) was used as a tool and it was applied to a sample of 26 people between supervisors and managers. This questionnaire made it possible to measure the level of development of ergonomic culture in work centers from the perspective of supervisors and senior management (managers) and to know their perception of the development and application of ergonomics in their company. Therefore,

Abstract: Optical fiber is a medium that made by silica or plastic, and widely used in transmitting information over longer distance especially in communication system. There are three types of fiber optic used in this project which are single mode stepindex (SMSI), multimode step-index (MMSI), and multimode graded-index (MMGI) in optical communication system. There are three objectives in this project in order to get the suitable optical fibers in the communication system. First objective is to simulate the result by using Excel and Origin software. The data and the formula of fiber optics will be key in through Excel software while the graph will be analyzed by using Origin software. The second objective is to compare the different types of fiber optics in communication system by comparing the several of their characteristics such as numerical aperture (NA), acceptance angle (θ(a)) and propagation constant (β). The performance of all types fiber optics are analyzed from the result using the standard communication wavelength of 1550 nm. The core diameter for SMSI, MMSI, and MMGI are 9, 200 and 50 μm respectively while the cladding diameter for SMSI and MMGI is 125 μm and 240 μm for MMSI. This diameter also been analyzed by using the standard value for optical communication system. Then, the comparison between SMSI, MMSI and MMGI will be made to choose the more suitable for optical communication system based on their characteristics. From the results, MMSI and MMGI give best performance compared to SMSI. After that, the third objective is to make the comparison between MMSI and MMGI in term of intermodal dispersion to compare the efficiencies of fiber optics. MMGI give the better result in terms of efficiencies for communication system compared to MMSI. Keyword: Single Mode Step-Index (SMSI), Multimode Step-Index (MMSI), Multimode Graded-Index (MMGI), Communication System, Excel and Origin Software

Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF) has been a topic of extensive research in the field of nonlinear fiber optics. It is due to its combination of linear and nonlinear properties which ultimately results in the phenomenon having various types of applications. One of the phenomena is supercontinuum generation that has been extensively studied numerically and experimentally over the last few decades as it has important applications in the field of medical imaging and sensing. In this paper, we numerically analysed and studied PCF of hexagonal core with various parameters and propose our novel ‘Star in Hexagon’ design as a good candidate for the broadband supercontinuum generation and hence a broadband laser source. We numerically pumped a long 10 mm PCF of this kind at 3.1 um wavelength with a pulse having a power of 4000 W and a temporal width of 50 fs. A broadband supercontinuum ranging from 1.7 um to 18 um was obtained. The generated spectrum is quite well in the mid-infrared region. Hence it can be utilised for Mid – Infrared (MIR) applications.

In this paper, we pay attention to the nonlinear dynamical behavior of ultra-short pulses in optical fiber. The new Hamiltonian amplitude equation is used as a governing model to analyze the pulses. We secure the ultra-short pulses in the forms of bright, dark, singular, combo and complex soliton solutions by the utilization of three of sound computational integration techniques that are protracted (or extended) Fan-sub equation method (PFSEM), the generalized exponential rational function method (GERFM), extended Sinh-Gordon equation expansion method (ShGEEM). Moreover, Jacobi’s elliptic, trigonometric, and hyperbolic functions solutions are also discussed as well as the constraint conditions of the achieved solutions are also presented. In addition, we discuss the different wave structures by the assistance of logarithmic transformation. The findings demonstrate that the examined equation theoretically contains a large number of soliton solution structures. By selecting appropriate criteria, the actual portrayal of certain obtained results is sorted out graphically in 3D and 2D profiles. The results suggest that the procedures used are concise, direct, and efficient, and that they can be applied to more complex phenomena. The resulting solutions are novel, intriguing, and potentially useful in understanding energy transit and diffusion processes in mathematical models of several disciplines of interest, including nonlinear optics. Our new results have been compared to these in the literature.
