With the growing global need for energy conservation to reduce the waste of natural resources which is depleting and to preserve the environment from pollutants produced from the use of such energy resources.  Most countries and relevant organizations are seeking means and effective tools to achieve these targets. It could be noticed that the most effective way to tackle those issues is to apply labelling measures for the different appliances which indicated its usefulness. The paper is trying to address this issue, indicating its dimensions, prospects, importance, and mechanisms of implementation and resettlement. And also, it addresses the expected difficulties and problems, and the ways to overcome them, to actively contribute to the rationalization of energy consumption in Libya.

At the present scenario, the action of ensuing the philosophy of reducing energy consumption and saving it for longer period without drop off in performance is increased. On the other hand, global warming and ozone layer depletion become foremost challenges. These concerns are takes place in Thermal systems like refrigerator and air conditioning. To resolve the above challenges, the nano refrigerants are used in refrigeration, which has previously got the attention due to its distinctive properties such as thermal conductivity. They also have the potential to improve the heat transfer performance of refrigeration. This project interrogated on the performance of domestic refrigeration system using normal condenser and microchannel condenser with and without nanoparticles. The Cerium oxide and Zinc oxide nanoparticles in the size of about 20-30nm and 30-50nm respectively with R134a domestic refrigerant were used. The experimentation carried out using 2 gm ofCeO2and ZnO nanoparticles in three different ratios [0.5:1.5,1:1 and 1.5:0.5] with R134a refrigerant. Hereby, the result conquered that 33.3% increase in the Actual COP of domestic refrigeration system using normal condenser with 1:1 ratio of nanoparticles when compared with the refrigeration system using microchannel condenser with and without nanoparticles.

Abstract We show that generativity, intended as the capacity of affecting positively other human lives, has a strong and significant effect on life sense and life satisfaction of individuals aged 50 and above. We define three generativity dimensions: individual generativity power, local generativity power and individual generativity in act. We find that generativity in act (both in its leisure and work dimensions) has a positive and significant effect on subjective well-being. The gross effect is, however, smaller than the net effect since generativity in act is negatively correlated with the internal locus of control (control over one’s own life). Our findings have strong policy implications since generativity affects consumption and saving choices of utility maximizing economic agents and policymakers may create consensus by building generative societies.

Economic literature shows correlation in poverty alleviation and socioeconomic development. The researchers become increasingly responsive to the poverty alleviation when giving policy suggestions to the stakeholders about socio-economic development. If socio-economic development is the function of poverty alleviation then the crucial role of the determinants of poverty alleviation cannot be challenged. Though poverty alleviation needs a multi-dimensional approach to combat the issue, however modern economic literature uses economic dimension e.g. income of the household as a determinant of poverty alleviation. Present study suggest that it’s not only income that impact the poverty alleviation and socio-economic development but practically the capability of household for consumption and saving actually determines the poverty alleviation. Consequently the effective capability of the household to consume and save is the prerequisite. This study is based on the data obtained from 300 households using the proportional stratified sampling technique in the urban area of Peshawar District to quantify the factors that determine income, consumption and saving function of the urban households that in turn effect the poverty alleviation and socio-economic development. Hence the present study identifies the factors that directly or indirectly ascribed for poverty alleviation and socio-economic development in Pakistan.
