Digitalization has given rise to a substantially new civilizational and existential situation. The mankind development was associated with the creation of collective memory in the form of culture as a system for generating, storing and transmitting social experience, including the creation of an artificial environment. For the main part of history, man likened the world to himself, which made the world understandable. However, over time, the tools and means became less and less anthropomorphic. The world has increasingly become like complex mechanisms. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the relationship between man and machine has become one of the main themes in art. They gave rise to a wide horizon of aesthetic comprehension of this topic: from the pathos of transforming reality (including the person himself) to alarm and horror. However, modern digitalization creates an artificial environment that involves not only the natural environment, but also the biological nature of man. The person himself turns into an artifact. Moreover, under the conditions of digitalization, culture turns into a kind of machine, when reality appears as the realization of a “transcendental” digital code, which acts as an original source for any number of artifacts as its copies. This situation cannot but affect art and aestheticization, which are reduced to the flow of processing digitized data. It is not about new digital technologies in art. It is about changing the format of the entire process of artistic creation and aesthetic reception. A person is transformed from a user of consumption and creativity options into one of the options for a digital mega-machine.

Obtaining the most accurate 3-dimensional location of the implant positions, facilitates the fabrication of a prosthesis that, not only conforms to the biomechanics of the rehabilitation in relation to the TM joint and surrounding musculature but also lays minimal stresses imparted onto the implant-bone interface, maximizing the longevity of any prosthetic superstructure. The passive fit concept accentuates the need for this ‘minimal-stress’ interface in order to prevent any mechanical or, biological eventualities while the prosthesis is under masticatory load in the oro-facial environment. A wide horizon of techniques have been studied and devised upon, to achieve this ‘un-eventual fit’ and also methods developed, to assess and evaluate the misfit that the prosthetic superstructure bears in relation to the implants or, the abutments into which they are screwed. This article aims to define the concept, elaborate upon the need of the same and the methods to evaluate them in a clinical and laboratory set-up.

The great Islamic poets ’Aḥmad Shawqī and Iqbāl both lived in one era and experienced the great events that have passed through the Islamic world, as they both have experienced the bitterness of foreign occupation and the suffering of Western colonialism. Both of them were proud of their religion, jealous of Islam and the Muslims to be attacked by their opponents. They were saddened by their failure to take the causes of strength, pride and glory. It was very painful to them to see the home lands of Muslims were occupied and their affairs were all dysfunctional, and both of them were influenced by the calls for reform and the movements of renewal that were attracted to high societies, the national press and the guiding books. Both of them wanted to extend their poetry and poetic message from the borders of their homeland to the extent of a wide horizon.

Augmented reality refers to the combination of computer-generated objects with real world environment. This technology is empowered by the evolution of hardware and software in the past decade. Virtual objects are placed through device screens in a user’s environment relying on the device camera and capability of graphics hardware. This advancement opens a wide horizon for application development in the field of entertainment, education, medical, etc. One of the main advantages of augmented reality (AR) is in the treatment of various phobias though exposure treatment. A phobia is characterized by irrational fear or reaction to a normal situation. Thus, gradually exposing patients to their phobias helps in reducing their uncontrolled reaction and aids in reducing their fear of their respective phobia. Herpetophobia is the extreme fear from aversion reptiles such as lizards. The lizard phobia is a common form of phobia amongst people. In this article, an application of lizard phobia exposure treatment is proposed to help patients. The proposed application relies on marker-based AR. This is implemented using Visible marker AR system (VMARS) and Invisible marker AR system (IMARS), comparing the results of both systems to a group a subject to identify the best approach for Herpetophobia treatment.

Misery is manifold. The wretchedness of earth is multiform. Overreaching the wide horizon like the rainbow, its hues are as various as the hues of that arch, as distinct too, yet as intimately blended. Overreaching the wide horizon like the rainbow! How is it...

As he neared retirement, Furfey presented himself as moving through three phases: liberal, radical and revolutionary. Scholars of Furfey’s work subsequently present Furfey as the theorist of Catholic radicalism. This chapter suggests that he was not only the theorist of Catholic radicalism but also a scholar who abided liberal and revolutionary impulses in scholarship and activism across his lifetime. Furfey’s contribution to the tradition of Catholic social thought and practice in the United States was more nuanced than the view that prevails in the current literature.

The purpose of this investigation is to identify the key determinants of project success within the construction industry of Ghana using Wide Horizon Ghana limited as a case study. A self-administered questionnaire is used to gather primary data from relevant stakeholders within the scope of the study. The results showed that project manager’s influence and leadership style, project team members’ coordination, availability of resources and funds, organizational success and client’s satisfaction as well as the completion of projects on time were the main project success factors in the industry. Negative influences from stakeholders among others were seen as factors that contribute to project failure. It is recommended that Construction project managers or leaders should pay more attention to these success factors to ensure project success or minimize the rate of project failure within Ghana and the West African sub-region.
