Nature-based design process with its embedded concept of form that follows function can be materialized as products capable of incorporating aesthetics and functionality similar to the characteristics of its natural role models. The paper addresses the topic of green installations created through a design process that simulates nature’s smart developmental mechanisms. The aim is to create an interactive installation capable of receiving and interpreting external factors that would determine the ensemble’s behavior and influence its future development and evolution. The main challenge lies in the fact that the smart feature is often achieved by intensive use of technology, which often overshadows inventive ways in which the behavioral and aesthetic properties of the material can be reinterpreted. The interactive green installation “Modgrew” investigates the possibilities of obtaining smart features through the experimental testing of two main types of configurations. The results underline the fact that, by applying the principles of biomimetic design, technologies from different fields can be combined towards obtaining a smart product. The conclusions highlight the need for future studies cover subjects such as the efficiency of automation, the possible reconfiguration of modules, behavioral optimization over time, the identification of minimal tech alternatives and the reduction of maintenance necessities.

People's motions or behaviors often ensue from these positive or negative emotions. Set off either subconsciously or intentionally, these fragmentary responses also represent people's emotional vacillations at different times, albeit rarely noted or discovered. This system incorporates affective computing into an interactive installation: While a user is performing an operation, the system instantaneously and randomly generates corresponding musical instrument sound effects and special effects. The system is intended to enable users to interact with emotions through the interactive installation to yield a personalized digital artwork as well learning about how emotions affect the causative factors of consciousness and personal behaviors. At the end of the process, this project design renders three questionnaires for users to fill in as a means to enhance the integrity and richness of the system with a survey and to further increase the stability and precision of the system through progressive modifications aligned with user suggestions.

Célula Nave. It happens in the body of time, where truth dances (2004) by the Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto is an interactive installation artwork, commissioned by the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. The artwork consists of a spacious construction of turquoise fabric – the “nave” – hanging on a series of aluminium poles. Visitors are allowed to enter the nave and touch the fabric with their hands and feet. The spatial design of Célula Nave is intertwined with the museum’s Bodon Gallery, for which the artwork was created. The size of the installation has been adapted to its large-scale dimensions; the colour of the fabric matches the greenish floor of the gallery, and the daylight falling into the room enhances the fabric’s translucency.

<p>The theory of dwelling is a valuable topic for media designers to explore in order to further our understanding of the connection individuals make with designs. This research suggests that to promote dwelling successfully, digital design must prompt people to understand it in essence and balance, must encourage private or communal reflection and development, and must encourage people to connect meaningfully with the design; this manifests by people caring for it and being conscious of it. dwelling + design explores the theory of dwelling as research through design and research for design; through the interactive installation dark; and the light. Dwelling is discussed with reference to three main philosophers; Martin Heidegger, Christian Norberg-Schulz, and Pavlos Lefas. As a wider investigation of how dwelling can inform design practice, the theory is also investigated both as an informative theory for creative practice and an attitude that can be embraced by people when receiving or encountering creativity. dwelling + design finds that dwelling is valuable to designers as an attitude towards the design process, but has limited success as an informer of aesthetics or as an intended experience for participants.</p>

With the development of technology and the times, the development of new media technology and interactive installation art has slowly entered the vision of our audience. It is simply “silent art.” The public no longer “retires” like the traditional one, but participates in it and swims with the artists in the world of art. This article is aimed at studying the application of artificial intelligence and wireless network communication to the application of interactive installation art. Through the optimization of various communication equipment and the continuous advancement of various algorithms, we can strengthen the communication and connection between our interactive installation art. This article proposes that with the addition of artificial intelligence and wireless network communication, the interaction between artists and audiences may be more fun, so that we can be more colorful in our lives. The experimental results in this article show that when performing wireless network communication, the communication delay rate of the intelligent algorithm with artificial intelligence is much lower than that of the one without it, which shows that they can better transmit information to the control end. When affected by the outside world, the bit error rate of wireless network communication will increase, however, the artificial intelligence algorithm is added to his impact range, and his bit error rate increase is obviously not so high. In the process of wireless network communication, the improved algorithm is definitely better than the nonimproved algorithm in terms of energy consumption, communication delay, and bit error rate. Through the enhancement of signals and the selection of materials for communication equipment, these are all in continuous progress, and in this respect, are in continuous exploration. Compared with other algorithms, the ml algorithm has improved positioning accuracy by about 70%, 65%, and 30%. Increasing the number of nodes in the transmission signal can greatly reduce the number of hops between nodes, correspondingly reducing the hop distance error, correspondingly reducing the distance estimation error, and improving the positioning accuracy. It can solve the technical barriers of interactive installation art faster.

Interactive installation art is a kind of art that uses specific software and computer hardware as a platform, a platform for interaction between humans and machines or different people through computer hardware. It is an interactive art that uses material installations in nature as a medium. Traditional interactive installation art is not safe and convenient, in order to solve the shortcomings of traditional interactive installation art. This article introduces artificial intelligence technology by studying the overview, development, and application of artificial intelligence. The encryption algorithm for artificial intelligence data protection and the BP neural network prediction model under artificial intelligence are also introduced to ensure the safety of interactive installation art works. The part also introduces the creation tools and creation process of interactive installation art works. Finally, in the analysis part, a questionnaire analysis of the World Expo is carried out. The results of this article show that the art of connecting inserts is the most complete and open design era. Advances in science and technology, the development of digital art, and the needs of human life have led to the development of interconnected input technologies. In addition, in the survey of people’s satisfaction with artificial intelligence, we can conclude that 89% of people think that the security of artificial intelligence technology is very high. Yes, 92% of people think that artificial intelligence technology has a fast computing speed, 86% of people think that artificial intelligence technology is low in cost.

This research aims to develop a cyber-physical adaptive architectural space capable of real-time responses to people’s emotions, based on biological and neurological data. To achieve this goal, we integrated artificial intelligence (AI), wearable technology, sensory environments, and adaptive architecture to create an emotional bond between a space and its occupants and encourage affective emotional interactions between the two. The project’s objectives were to (1) measure and analyze biological and neurological data to detect emotions, (2) map and illustrate that emotional data, and (3) link occupants’ emotions and cognition to a built environment through a real-time emotive feedback loop. Using an interactive installation as a case study, this work examines the cognition-emotion-space interaction through changes in volume, color, and light as a means of emotional expression. It contributes to the current theory and practice of cyber-physical design and the role AI plays, as well as the interaction of technology and empathy.
