Abstract Previously, the basic laws and equations of electrodynamics, atomic nuclei, elementary particles theory and gravitation theory were derived from the equations of compressible oscillating ether. In this work, the theory of atomic structure for all chemical elements is constructed. A formula for the values of the energy levels of the electrons of an atom, which are the values of the energies of binding of electrons with the nucleus of an atom in the ground unexcited state, is derived from the equations of the ether. Based on experimental data on the ionization energies of atoms and ions, it is shown that the sequence of values of the energy levels of electrons has jumps, exactly corresponding to the periods of the table of chemical elements. It is concluded that it is precisely these jumps, and not quantum-mechanical rules, prohibitions and postulates that determine the periodicity of the properties of chemical elements. Ethereal correction of the table of chemical elements is presented which returns it to the form proposed by D.I. Mendeleev.

AbstractUpon specifying an equation of state, spherically symmetric steady states of the Einstein-Euler system are embedded in 1-parameter families of solutions, characterized by the value of their central redshift. In the 1960’s Zel’dovich (Voprosy Kosmogonii 9:157–170, 1963) and Harrison et al. (Gravitation Theory and Gravitational Collapse. The University of Chicago press, Chicago, 1965) formulated a turning point principle which states that the spectral stability can be exchanged to instability and vice versa only at the extrema of mass along the mass-radius curve. Moreover the bending orientation at the extrema determines whether a growing mode is gained or lost. We prove the turning point principle and provide a detailed description of the linearized dynamics. One of the corollaries of our result is that the number of growing modes grows to infinity as the central redshift increases to infinity.

In this informal memoir, the author describes his passage through a golden age of elementary particle physics. It includes not only his career trajectory as a theoretical physicist but also his excursions into experimental physics and particle accelerator theory. While his successes are highlighted, some unsuccessful efforts are included in the narrative as well. Those “losers” were arguably as pleasurable as the less-frequent “winners.” Since retirement, the author has become interested in gravitation theory and cosmology—a new golden age. This activity is also briefly described.

In this research, we have investigated tachyon and [Formula: see text]-essence dark energy (DE) candidates with varying [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] for Marder universe in [Formula: see text] gravitation theory [Harko et al., Phys. Rev. D 84, 024020 (2011)]. Here, [Formula: see text] is the arbitrary function of Ricci scalar ([Formula: see text]) and the trace of [Formula: see text]. To solve [Formula: see text] gravity field equations, three different approximations have been used such as cosmological term, equation of state (EoS) parameter and the anisotropy feature of Marder universe. Also, we have discussed some physical results with various graphics.

The author proposes a new gravitation theory, the Planck gravitation theory. The theoretical name is in honor of Planck proposing the Planck Length. Gravitation is a force in 4-dimensional space, or a force in 5-dimensional space-time. Every quantum particle produces gravitation. Gravitation is not actually related to the mass of particles. Every quantum particle produces the same gravitation, regardless of the type of particle. The origin of gravitation is quantum, and gravitation is a quantum force. In 4-dimensional space, gravitation is inversely proportional to the cubic of distance, not square of distance. The strength of gravitation is entirely determined by the Planck Length. The Planck Length is the identification constant of gravitation. The author's earlier projection gravitation theory is only a derivation of the Planck gravitation theory. From the theory, we deduce the gravitation of photons. Planck gravitation is separated into two different patterns in 3-simensional space. For particles with rest mass, Planck gravitation translates into projection gravitation, which is inversely proportional to the square of distance. For particles with zero rest mass, gravitation is inversely proportional to the cubic of distance. Every quantum particle is an empty hole in space, the radius of empty hole is Planck Length. This brings the effect of the quantization of space-time. Planck gravitation theory can solve the problem of ultraviolet divergence in quantum field theory without the need for renormalization. If the Planck gravitation theory is true, human need to rethink the gravitation, and need to rethink the way of gravitation quantization. The author finally discusses the projection action, it is the key to human understanding of the truth about gravitation.
