PURPOSE Multidisciplinary oncology meetings, or tumor boards (TBs), ensure and facilitate communication between specialties regarding the management of cancer cases to improve patient care. The organization of TB and the preparation and presentation of patient cases are typically inefficient processes that require the exchange of patient information via e-mail, the hunting for data and images in the electronic health record, and the copying and pasting of patient data into desktop presentation software. METHODS We implemented a standards-based electronic health record–integrated application that automated several aspects of TB organization and preparation. We hypothesized that this application would increase the efficiency of TB preparation, reduce errors in patient entry, and enhance communication with the clinical team. Our experimental design used a prospective evaluation by pathologists who were timed in preparing for weekly TBs using both the new application and the conventional method. In addition, patient data entry errors associated with each method were tracked, and TB attendees completed a survey evaluating satisfaction with the new application. RESULTS The total time savings for TB preparation using the digital TB application over the conventional method was 5 hours and 19 minutes, representing a 45% reduction in preparation time ( P < .01). Survey results showed that 91% of respondents preferred the digital method and believed that it improved the flow of the TB meeting. In addition, most believed that the digital method had an impact on subsequent patient care. CONCLUSION This study provides further evidence that new electronic systems have the potential to significantly improve the overall TB paradigm by optimizing and enhancing case organization, preparation, and presentation.

Through a 3-year community service scheme (6 periods), 4 periods have been conducted. There are 3 stakeholders in this program: study program, community research partner, and brand partner. Along the process, community service partner has understood and be able to collaborate using digital method to produce clothing collections for brand partner. But although the stitching quality is well, cost prices are mostly found too high, not suitable for brand partner’s retail prices. Through this community service period, the aims are: 1) to train cost sheet making for each sku made; 2) to provide knowledge of target retail price and its calculations; 3) to provide knowledge on many components of clothing costs, including margin fees on multiple fashion platforms in Indonesia. This period is the last step of training and focus more on production and business mindsets before letting community service partner to go independent in the last period.

Abstract Condensing the multi-dimensional digital model of green urban design, and constructing a digital method system of it progressively layer by layer. Based on this research background, the dissertation designs the spatial form of landscape architecture based on the data visualisation of nonlinear technology. The article uses the colour zoning method to design the actual scene of the garden landscape with nonlinear parameteriszation. The simulation result analyses that the proposed nonlinear algorithm has realised the efficiency improvement purpose of landscape architecture design.

In this paper we outline and demonstrate the critical simulation approach to understanding the data operations of visual social media platforms. We situate this approach within the field of platform studies and position it as a ‘hybrid digital method’, before describing its application for descriptive, forensic and speculative purposes in two current research projects: one that uses machine vision combined with mixed-methods qualitative research to explore Instagram’s algorithmic visual culture; and one that combines automated data donation and machine vision to explore Facebook’s ad targeting practices.

To produce prostheses through the digital flow, it is essential to transfer the correct patient’s interocclusal relationship to the digital software program, enabling the articulation of virtual models. Therefore, the aim of this study was to carry out a narrative literature review to describe and discuss aspects related to the virtual occlusal record realization, as well as its precision and accuracy in different clinical situations. Searches for scientific publications were performed in different databases and only articles in English related to the topic were selected. Different methods for the alignment of virtual models are described in the literature, the main one being the scanning of the patient in occlusion, usually in a position of maximum intercuspation. However, this technique may demonstrate disagreement with the patient's actual occlusal relationship due to several factors, and therefore studies were carried out to verify the precision and accuracy of these records. Most studies use plaster models and industrial scanner to capture the record, with few studies performed with intraoral scanner in patients. Despite the various scanner systems available and the different ways of evaluating them, in general, the studies show an adequate precision and accuracy of virtual occlusal records of dentate models. However, the absence of dental elements is related to the lower accuracy of these records, it being necessary to establish an appropriate method of scanning for these clinical situations.

In the modern world, the accounting methodology is undergoing significant changes under the influence of new trends of our time - digitalization and automation. Modern IT-technologies make it possible to optimize the accounting process, simplifying the routine work of specialists or completely freeing them from it. The article discusses the existing approaches to the concepts of automation and digitalization of accounting, identifies their similar and distinctive features according to a number of criteria: goal, object, subject, resources, technologies, stages, result. The author investigates the essence of automation and digitalization of the accounting process, presents a theoretical justification for the allocation of a new digital method for registering accounting information.
