The ability to offer customisation has been considered as a competitive advantage for industrialised house building (IHB) companies. Product platform approaches have been acknowledged as one of the prominent ways to improve both internal and external efficiency. However, the use of traditional platform-based strategies does not suffice for the design of engineer-to-order (ETO)-based components in a building system. The purpose of this research is to test and evaluate how the reuse of design assets can be achieved by using a parametric modelling approach to support the design process of ETO-based components in a post and beam building system. This is an additional study using the design platform approach (DPA) that contributes to expanding the knowledge for designing ETO-based components. This research proposes a parametric design platform method developed by following an inductive approach based on the findings from a detailed study on bracket connection with a single case study in a Swedish multi-storey house building company. The proposed method offers flexibility in modelling ETO building components, facilitates design automation, and shows a 20-times improvement in the modelling process. This approach can be used in any building system with ETO-based components by identifying, formalising, and reusing connected design assets. A key finding is that the ETO components can be shifted towards configurable solutions to achieve platform-based design.

This paper proposes a standard documentation framework for Data Science projects, called Databook. It is a result of five years of action-research on multiple projects in several sectors of activity in France, and of a confrontation of standard theoretical Data Science processes, such as CRISP_DM, with the reality of the field. As a vector for knowledge sharing and capitalisation, the Databook has been identified as one of the main facilitators of Human Data Mediation. Transformed into an operational prototype of simple and minimalist documentation, it has since been tested then on about a hundred Data Science projects, has proven its benefits for the internal and external efficiency of Data Science projects, and can be turned into a more ambitious standard framework for data patrimony valorisation and data quality governance.

In the last decade, vocational education quality is one of the productivity measurements. To measure productivity were internal and external efficiency, the quality of graduates, financial management, and effectivity. This study aims to examine and analyzed the effect of the principles of efficiency, fairness, transparency, and accountability in financial management on vocational school productivity simultaneously or partially. The sampling technique used was a census. Data collection methods using questionnaires. Data analysis methods using logistic regression analysis. The results of this study could be concluded that teachers' perceptions of school productivity were good, but they're still needs to be an improvement in school policies in keeping schools productive and even increasing. The results both partially and simultaneous were the application of the principle of transparency and accountability proven to contribute significantly to increasing school productivity. Whereas the principle of efficiency and fairness didn’t significantly contribute to increasing the productivity of vocational schools in Business and Management in Tangerang Municipality. While simultaneously, the application of the principles of efficiency, fairness, transparency, and accountability in school financial management contributed to creating school productivity. The implication of this research was useful for improving the quality and productivity of vocational schools in Tangerang Municipality.

Industrialised house builders in Sweden have been challenged to meet the demand for housing solutions as the population has increased at a faster rate. As a result, the housing industry is currently faced with objectives to improve productivity and internal efficiency while also controlling the production cost of houses without compromising external efficiency. To remain competitive, many companies developed own building system (BS) based on fixed or partially fixed production systems with different prefabrication techniques. The challenges remain in the design phase and proper methods and tools are required to manage it. In many industries, the product platform approach has been used as a means to achieve both internal and external efficiency. However, little attention has been paid in relating the platform approach to building system support in the design phase of Industrialised house building (IHB). Thus, the main purpose of this paper is to explore the current state of the industrialised house building system and outline design support solutions for the building system from a product platform approach. Qualitative research was conducted by linking a single case company working with post and beam building system in combination with a literature review. Empirical data were gathered from five semi-structured interviews and two workshop sections. A cause-effect analysis has been conducted to realize the potential causes of challenges in the design process. The result illustrates a methodology with principle solutions that can be used as design support for the case company as a path forward and improve further from a product platform perspective.

The article proves that the effective economic development of Ukraine is facilitated by foreign economic relations, which are a determining factor in the development and modernization of the economy, an important step towards solving many social problems and a driver of scientific and technological development. It is proved that the revival of foreign economic activity will promote the country's integration into the international economic space and will determine it not just as a partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation, but as a process that will serve as an effective means of solving global problems. The most significant in nature means of economic regulation of foreign economic activity depending on its impact on the competitive advantages of the enterprise. The expediency of determining the level of competitiveness of industry taking into account the important structural characteristics (the level of industrial economy, specialization of industry, its internal and external efficiency) is proved. The author's definition of the concept of competitiveness of industrial production is given - its permanent ability to withstand competition due to the availability of appropriate potential provided a high level of efficiency and a means for further development of long-term strategies for long-term development and conquest of foreign markets.

In this paper, we consider terahertz sources based on Čerenkov difference frequency generation in a dual-wavelength mid-infrared quantum cascade laser and calculate analytically the optical external efficiency of the out-going terahertz wave. The mid-infrared pumps operate simultaneously and have a common upper level. For short cavity lengths and low terahertz losses in the substrate, we find that implementation of the Čerenkov emission scheme in terahertz difference frequency generation quantum cascade lasers improves the optical external efficiency dramatically. The maximum value of the latter is close to 19%, but is only attainable if the laser exhibits negligible mid-infrared transmission losses.

Education is very important for the continuity of the development of a nation, for that we need to find a way for action to be taken right in improving practical education and also academics in the era of blood autonomy and also autonomy in education. For this reason, it is necessary to apply a number of management principles so that education in Indonesia is of higher quality, such as the efficiency of internal and external education, good governance can also affect education in Indonesia. for this reason, it is necessary to apply several approaches so that education runs according to what is expected (1) increasing institutional capacity and all programs in the education sector can be implemented, (2) developing the quality of education through inputs, processes and results based on regional autonomy (3 ) benefits and impacts of basic education on regional autonomyThis article is very useful for readers because here they can observe, practical education and also academics to understand how to find the right solution in developing the quality of education especially in the era of regional autonomy and autonomy of education by applying various implementation of management principles, namely: good governance, internal and external efficiency of education. Through the application of three approaches, it is expected that: (1) institutional capacity building and all programs in the education sector can be implemented, (2) developing the quality of education through inputs, processes, and outputs based on regional autonomy, (3) benefits and impacts of basic education towards regional autonomy.
