In the present scenario, around 15% of the world's population experience some form of disability. So, there has been an enormous increase in the demand for assistive techniques for overcoming the restraints faced by people with physical impairments. More recently, gesture-based character recognition (GBCR) has emerged as an assistive tool of immense importance, especially for facilitating the needs of persons with special necessities. Such GBCR systems serve as a powerful mediator for communication among people having hearing and speech impairments. They can also serve as a rehabilitative aid for people with motor disabilities who cannot write with pen on paper, or face difficulty in using common human-machine interactive (HMI) devices. This chapter provides a glimpse of disability prevalence around the globe and particularly in India, emphasizes the importance of learning-based GBCR systems in practical education of differently-abled children, and highlights the novel research contributions made in this field.

The relevance of the article is due to the fact that the motivation of achievements among students of sports universities differs in different degrees of formation, which is reflected in the instability of their results. The findings indicate the need to introduce a program for the formation of achievement motivation into the educational process of the university, which should be aimed at developing those personality traits that contribute to the adequate experience of sports successes and failures. The article is intended for teachers of sports universities, graduate students and students of higher educational institutions, practical education workers.

Originating from the nature of materials, development of construction methods through understanding the characteristics of materials can better demonstrate the importance of detailed design. 2. Through the addition of other materials, wood structures can stand out from the conventional form to show an amazing style. 3. Through practices, students can understand the importance of detailed design. Starting from the essence of the material and returning to the overall design through detailed design can indeed create unexpected results. 4. Abstract School closures induced by the COVID-19 crisis have led to the rethinking and reshaping of teacher training considering the norms of online and blended learning, and the pressure to embrace the possibilities offered by information and communications technology. We propose to examine the new perspectives and necessary changes related to three domains in which our institution – the Teacher Training Institute of Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, Faculty of Technical and Human Sciences – offers training: foreign languages, social sciences, and engineering. Different areas of education have been affected in different ways by the pandemic. In language teaching, familiarity with pre-existing platforms and programs helped the transition to online education. In the field of social sciences, the transfer of theoretical information did not cause any particular problems, but the development of interpersonal relationships, interactivity, and communication became more difficult. In the domain of engineering, practical education has become nearly impossible, as in order to develop certain practical skills students need access to laboratories equipped with special tools, devices, and instruments. In our study, we will focus on ways of updating and developing our methodology courses based on new paradigms and good practices presented in the specialized literature, also reflecting on feedback received from our teacher trainees related to their difficulties and needs revealed by the shift to online teaching.

Moral education is the fundamental task of education. It does not only include the inheritance of the fine traditional thoughts of the Chinese nation, but also the deepening of the new era of education concept with the new development in this changing world. Moral education has been widely implemented in the practical education process of colleges and universities and has achieved some outstanding results, but there are still some areas to be improved. Teachers in colleges and universities are the key to implement the concept of moral education, and classroom teaching is the main channel for the implementation of moral education. Therefore, teachers in colleges and universities need to deeply understand the essence and connotation of moral education, accurately grasp the practical problems existing in moral education, focus on the curriculum construction and the main channel of the classroom, and make every effort to exercise curriculum ideology and politics.
