<p class="Bab"><em>Kemajuan teknologi tak pernah lepas dengan teknologi informasi. Pada sebuah perguruan tinggi , teknologi informasi memiliki peran yang cukup besar dalam proses bisnisnya. Perencenaan dan implementasi sistem yang baik pada sebuah teknologi informasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk dapat menyeimbangkan investasi yang telah dikeluarkan</em><em>.</em><em> </em><em>Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta</em><em> berbasis Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)</em><em>. Dalam mencapai tujuan visi dan misi Universitas, AMIKOM selalu berusaha untuk memenuhi kebutuhan </em><em>stakeholder salah satunya dengan</em><em> selalu mengupdate teknologi untuk meningkatkan kinerja.</em><em> </em><em>Bagian dari Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta yaitu Direktorat Bussiness Placement Center (BPC) dan Alumni </em><em>sebagai</em><em> pusat karir yang menjembatani kebutuhan informasi dunia kerja yang diperlukan oleh </em><em>alumni</em><em> salah satunya dengan media </em><em>website Egraduation. </em><em>Menurut Nielsen dan Loranger (2016) agar sebuah situs mampu bertahan hidup dan tidak ditinggal oleh penggunanya, perlu memperhatikan aspek Usability</em><em> . Saat ini belum pernah dilakukan evaluasi pada website </em><em>Egraduation, untuk itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi Usability pada situs Egraduation untuk dapat </em><em>mengukur tingkat ketergunaan</em><em> dan permasalahan yang dihadapi pengguna situs sebagai bahan evaluasi. Penelitian akan dilakukan dengan 5 faktor Usability Nielsen. Selain itu hasil penelitian ini juga akan mengukur pengaruh faktor usabilitas terhadap variabel yang terdapat pada penelitian.</em></p>

Job Placement Center is a job application system using the internet as a media that connects between job seekers, information about a job with companies / agencies that need labor. This study aims to design an online recruitment system using a rapid application development (RAD) model in which the system is perceived to be more effective and efficient than conventional recruitment media such as newspapers, advertisements, and so on. All companies / institutions that need workers can share information related to a job in accordance with certain criteria, such as position / age, age, achievement index, gender, and so on. This information can be accessed by alumni and students of Subang State Polytechnic. Employment providers can get all information related to the curriculum vitae of the candidates so that they can get the best candidates. Keywords: Information System , Rapid Application Development, Recruitment

Business Placement Center membantu mengelola website alumni dalam memenuhi kebutuhan alumni salah satunya memberikan informasi mengenai lowongan pekerjaan. Website Alumni Amikom sudah memberikan informasi mengenai lowongan pekerjaan. Namun website alumni masih perlu ditambahkan fitur-fitur menu penunjang dalam mempermudah pencarian informasi pekerjaan yang sesuai keinginan pengguna. Penggunaan metode User Centered Design untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam menggunakan fasilitas yang ada pada website ketika mencari informasi lowongan pekerjaan dan pengguna berperan penting dalam setiap proses UCD. Dengan pendekatan User Centered Design diharapkan dapat menghasilkan tampilan dan fungsionalitas yang maksimal pada rancangan sistem yang dibangun sehingga sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner untuk mengetahui kebutuhan pengguna. Analisis dan perancangan menggunakan pendekatan User Centered Design dan implementasi perancangan sistem. Hasil penelitiannya adalah pengguna merasa nyaman dengan tampilan antarmuka website yang sudah dibangun, informasi yang disajikan mudah dipahami dan fitur-fitur menu sudah berhasil berjalansesuai fungsi.Business Placement Center help manage the website for the needs of alumnus one of them is to provide information on a vacancy. The alumnus website’s provides information about job vacancy. The website still need the support to facilitate the searching all the features the work in accordance with what the use. The method of user centered design to make it easy for users in the use of the existing facilities at the website while searching for information a vacancy and users play an important role in any proses UCD. User Centered Design approach is expected to produce the interface and functionality maximal built in the system so that in accordance with the need of users. Research methodology was by observation, interviews and quesionnaires to find out the need of users. Analysis and design using UCD approach and implementation of the system. The results of research is users feel comfortable with a display interface of website which have been built, the information is easily understood and menu features has been successfully run a function.

The aim of this study is to analyze the selection process of teacher candidates in Turkey and Austria education systems. In the study, the Upper Austria Higher Education documents on the selection processes were examined and the teacher candidates' selection processes were observed. For the Turkish side, the higher education selection handbooks by Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) were examined and 96 teacher candidates were interviewed. According to the findings, in Austria's teacher education system, the students should volunteer to be a teacher and also must fulfill compliance of the profession. In Turkey, on the other hand, the teacher candidates were selected according to the central examination results conducted by ÖSYM. While scores are taken into account in the areas such as mathematics, social sciences, science, geometry, etc., the evaluation related to the individual reasons for seeking this profession, individuals' eligibility of the teaching profession and personal characteristics are not considered in this selection process. The interview results revealed that while some of the candidates were willing to become a teacher, others reported obligation to do so and some stated that they accidently selected to be a teacher.
