We performed the numerical investigation of the one-dimensional series Josephson junction array with electromagnetic coupling and taking into account the delay. In general case of nonzero delay the equations for fast and slow phases have been obtained in the high-frequency (HF) approximation. The regimes of oscillations of the junction array have been studied at the different position on the current-voltage characteristic (IVC), including on its reverse branch. The same investigation has been performed for the systems of equations without delay of interaction and for the arbitrary bias current. Several stationary regimes of oscillations have been observed: synchronous oscillations, regime of traveling wave, regime of partial transition of junctions to the superconducting state and also chimera states.

Motivation. To assist efforts in determining and exploring the functional properties of proteins, it is desirable to characterize and predict protein flexibilities.Results.In this study, the conformational entropy is used as an indicator of the protein flexibility. We first explore whether the conformational change can capture the protein flexibility. The well-defined decoy structures are converted into one-dimensional series of letters from a structural alphabet. Four different structure alphabets, including the secondary structure in 3-class and 8-class, the PB structure alphabet (16-letter), and the DW structure alphabet (28-letter), are investigated. The conformational entropy is then calculated from the structure alphabet letters. Some of the proteins show high correlation between the conformation entropy and the protein flexibility. We then predict the protein flexibility from basic amino acid sequence. The local structures are predicted by the dual-layer model and the conformational entropy of the predicted class distribution is then calculated. The results show that the conformational entropy is a good indicator of the protein flexibility, but false positives remain a problem. The DW structure alphabet performs the best, which means that more subtle local structures can be captured by large number of structure alphabet letters. Overall this study provides a simple and efficient method for the characterization and prediction of the protein flexibility.

This article deals with optimization and typing of the frames of the assembly presses which are used for assembly process of rolling bearings. The article describes the solution of technical problem from conception phase of the press frame to the phase of final CAD model design. Final solution contains of proposal for typing of dimensional series with five different sizes for five different press forces. The optimization of the shape and the dimensions, as well as typing, reduces manufacturing cost of the assembly presses. The build dimensions are reduced as well, while required stiffness and strength are preserved.

In this paper, several commonly-used Elliptical copulas and Archimedean copulas were introduced, and their application in the correlation analysis were also described in detal. For the two failure modes of two-dimensional series portal-framed bridge system, the performance function values with respect to the failure modes were considered as the analysis variables of the chosen copula functions, and the Baysian copula selection method was applied to select the proper copula functions. And then, the two-dimension mixed copula function was built. Thereinto, the uncertain parameters of copula function were determined with Monte Carlo Sampling (MCS) method, so the numerical modeling of the mixed copula fuction about the failure mode of two-dimensional series portal-framed bridge system was achieved. Finally the reliability of this system was analyzed with the built mixed copula function, and the structural system failure probability was obtained.
