THE CASE OF FORMATION OF A SYNDROME OF DEPENDENCE ON SYNTHETIC CATINONS (AMPHETAMINE-LIKE SALT COMPOUNDS)

New psychoactive substances are an extremely important issue in modern narcology. Dependence on this group of substances develops faster than on drugs of plant origin, the mechanism of action of synthetic derivatives is unpredictable in clinical manifestations. The purpose of this article is to discuss the features of the formation of the syndrome of dependence on synthetic cathinones and the features of the course of the disease.

EVALUATION OF THE FEASIBILITY OF USING THE PUNCTURE METHOD IN THE TREATMENT OF CHRONIC SINUSITIS IN HIV-INFECTED PATIENTS

Indications for the use of the puncture method for the treatment of chronic sinusitis in HIV-infected patients depend on the form of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (exudative, proliferative or alterative) and are determined by the clinical stage of immunodeficiency. The puncture method is indicated for the treatment of chronic sinusitis in HIV-infected individuals in the first and second clinical stages of immunodeficiency, since in these subgroups of patients the likelihood of an exudative form of chronic sinusitis is similar to that in HIV-negative individuals. The use of the puncture method for the treatment of chronic sinusitis is not indicated for HIV-infected patients at the third and fourth clinical stages of immunodeficiency, since these subgroups of patients are statistically significantly more likely to have a proliferative form of chronic sinusitis in comparison with HIV-negative individuals.

FUNCTIONAL STATE OF THE THYROID GLAND AND ADRENAL GLANDS IN PATIENTS WITH PSORIASIS

The article defines the characteristic features of thyroid and adrenal function in patients with psoriasis, taking into account the pituitary regulation and streptococcal association of dermatosis. Patients with psoriasis, regardless of the form of dermatosis and microbial association, experience a non-thyroid syndrome with a high T3 concentration, increased glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid function of the adrenal glands.

DISCRIMINANT ANALYSIS OF AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR OF ALCOHOL-DEPENDENT PERSONS

The article analyzes the results of the authors' own research on the influence of a number of factors on the aggressive behavior of patients with alcohol dependence syndrome in a state of intoxication. The comparison was made between groups of patients suffering from alcohol dependence, with and without objectively proven cases of aggressive behavior. The influence of education, profession, family functioning, social intelligence, personality structure, anosognosia is considered within the framework of a single model. Discriminant analysis used as a tool for constructing a generalized model of aggressive behavior of alcohol addicts.

In the modern world, diabetes mellitus is a common disease with multiple consequences, the main complications are vascular lesions (macroangiopathy) and nerves, which are the cause of many complications, such as chronic renal failure and blindness and amputations in patients of working age, which leads to early disability and premature mortality. In the treatment of diabetes mellitus, most of the costs are for the treatment of complications, and the most cost-effective treatment is still treatment for ulcers of the feet. The article defines the essence and classification of diabetic foot syndrome, highlights the stages of diagnosis, as well as the main approaches to its treatment, describes the basics of prevention.

"PHARMACY DRUGS" IN RUSSIA (BASED ON MATERIALS FROM THE MOSCOW REGION)

The article reviews current problems related to mono - and combined use of medications (Tropicamide, Pregabalin ("Lyrica")). The article presents statistics on the detected use of medicines in 2016-2019 in Moscow for non-medical purposes. A review of domestic and foreign studies of the clinical aspect of consumption of these substances is conducted. A number of acute regulatory and legal problems related to the turnover of drugs in the pharmacy chain are highlighted. The authors conclude that, given the recent increase in the number of people abusing Tropicamide and Pregabalin, strict prescription control over their release in the pharmacy chain should be recommended. Caution should be exercised when prescribing these drugs for therapeutic purposes.

PLASTICS OF THE ANTERIOR ABDOMINAL WALL IN POSTOPERATIVE VENTRAL HERNIA

Objective. Improving the postoperative ventral hernias surgical treatment efficiency. Authors of the article define the clinically developed method of plastic surgery of the anterior abdominal wall in postoperative ventral hernia. Operations with this technique were performed in 37 patients. The endoprosthesis used was a polypropylene net made by “Eticon”. In the postoperative period complications took place in 2 (5,4%) patients. Conclusion. The developed method of the anterior abdominal wall plastics effectiveness was established in the article.
