The study aims to know how social community on gay’s life through the novel of Simon vs the Homo sapiens agenda written by Becky Albertalli. The title of this research is “ The Analysis of Main Character on Confessions of A Shopaholic Novel through Freudian Theory written by Sophie Kinsella”. Confessions of A Shopaholic novel is tells about a women named Rebecca Bloomwood who has bad behavior that are shopping addiction to fulfill her desire but she gets anxiety because of her debts and it disturbs her psychological. This research will focuses on Rebecca’s anxiety.The data are taken from the novel in the form of dialog and monolog. The writer using psychoanalysis theory from Sigmund Freud that related with anxiety theory. Sigmund Freud theory has 3 kinds of anxiety, there are realistic anxiety, neurotic anxiety and moral anxiety. This theory is used to analyze the cause and effect of Rebecca Bloomwood’s anxiety.Last, the writer found the proved from Rebecca experiences three kinds of anxiety. First is neurotic anxiety caused by her mom character and it might be related to Rebecca childhood, Rebecca can’t to be honest to her mom about the cost of her skirt or clothes, she always tells if they are cheap because she knows her mom will shocked and angry if she now the truth, that can related if Rebecca can’t fulfill her desire when she was child because of her mom character. Second is realistic anxiety caused by her bad habit in shopping, that makes Rebecca has a lot of debts and that makes she becomes panic everytime met her debt collector. And the last moral anxiety caused by she felt guilty of her shopping behavior. And she becomes a liar to defense herself

The research is aimed at showing the character of Danny Maccabee, the main character of the film Just Go with It, as a pathological liar, the factors which have made him become a pathological liar and how his character influenced his life. The material for the analysis is the movie Just Go with It, directed by Denis Dugan. The writers applied qualitative approach,and employed relevant theories of psychology. They used the scripts of the movie as the data to be analyzed. Based on the research findings, Danny is a pathological liar since he has the characteristics of being a pathological liar. In addition, Danny Maccabee has such a character due to the factors which have made him become a pathological liar and that the effect of his character as being pathological liar has influenced his social relationship with other people and disturbed his inner peace in his life

People socialize trough language. Language uses as media of communication and fulfils formal and informal roles in society. In communicating, people have their preference in using certain language for certain roles. Speaker preferences represent their language attitude toward those languages. Speaker attitude of language will strongly affect the preservation of language. In East Java, the regional language is Javanese language. However, people tend to use Indonesia language or Javanese language as their lingua franca in this modern era. This phenomenon encourages one language become dominant or minor. This paper focuses on the attitude of Javanese speaker among participant. The writer chooses participant from Javanese speaker in Madiun, East Java. Participants are chosen in consideration of aspects native speaker and distribution of Javanese language in Java. The domain of language usage and variety of attitudes are used to measure the attitude of language speaker. Besides investigating the language attitude of the participant, in this article, the writer also analyses the language preservation of the participant. The result shows that the participant perform positive attitude toward Javanese language. Therefore, the language preservation that has done by the participant is in the intermediate level. This article is, therefore, only a case study of language attitude, particularly to see how the attitude of native speaker of Javanese language can be problematic in the modern era

The aim of the research is to give the description of circumfix ( ka-an) in Minang Language subdistrict Sei Geringging Pariaman. This is descriptive qualitative research. The steps in collecting data are: reading and underlying sentences that contains affixes and classifying the class. The collected data are analyzed by using morphological theory by Bauer (1988). The result of the analysis reveals that circumfix (ka-an) in Minang Language subdistrict Sei Geringging Pariaman could be used with the base form of noun, verb and adjective. Some of them change the class of words (derrivational) and some of them keep the same class of word (inflectional).

Learning foreign language, specifically English langauge as the international language, may make some students feel bored. The feelings emerge because of some factors experienced by the students. The factors are lack of interest to learn it, lack of basic knowledge of it, or lack of motivation to learn it. All of the factors reasoning may be caused by the late to build and have motivation to learn the langauge. For students of higher education institutions, the students have to have enough basic knowledge of the language learned because actually the students have learned the language since they were in high schools. Even, some students might have learnt English language since when they were in junior high schools. The basic knowledge can actualy give very dominant influence on their learning continuity. Many students taking English-2, in Faculty of Business, Buddhi Dharma University, seem to feel the significance of having basic knowledge in order that they could improve their English mastery. Therefore, those who don’t have enough basic knowledge got some problem to improve their English. Meanwhile those who have got enough basic knowledge could continue improve their skills in the use of the English language. Relating to the learning activities, Edgar Dale (1962) stated that there are two kinds of learning; they are passive learning and  active learning. The best way to improve the learning must be about activating the both, active and passive learning. However, to activate the both is not a simple thing. There are some factors that the general students face like the students of Semester-2, Business Faculty have faced. The factors that make problems are the motivation to learn, the opportunity to practice, the lack of basic knowledge, etc. Some students may have good enough basic knowledge, while some other students may have not enough basic knowledge to improve their skills. Indeed, problems can disrupt the students to improve their capability to learn English as a foreign language. This condition creates another problem for the teachers to improve the class activity as it should be
